This house was great for our group at the beach. Had everything we needed and was in a great location. Very enjoyable.

Grass isn't mowed if anyone wants to bring your pets. And try to pick up the poop. Toilets upstairs need to be repaired one ran all night. Lots of light bulbs out. Faucet in kitchen leaked. Microwave by the bar doesn't work. Lots of remotes but don't work. Very disappointed during our system won't rent again.

Great house. Needs a bit more maintenance. Lawn needs mowed, the dish washer and kitchen faucet leaks very bad

The house was great for my teenagers and my husband and I. We would rent it again. It was convenient for our dogs as well.
When we got there and let our dogs outside the back. One of our dogs immediately stepped on dog poop that was already there by the previous people who were there before us. That was not cool.
The kitchen sink is very hard to maneuver it needs like W-D 40?
Also we needed more kitchen towels as there were only one rag and towel. We ended up having to use bathroom hand towels.
The TV downstairs living room would not work due to no batteries in the remotes. The TV’s upstairs rocked because it’s a smart TV and had all kinds of choices to watch. Wish it was the same for the TV downstairs in the living room.
The game room, our teenager loved it!
They also loved the Hot tub.
We don’t have any check out instructions(where sheets go, towels, etc…) assuming the maid would come in and do that?
Thank you for letting us stay there.

House overall was clean however no tv in living room a lot of light bulbs were out which I fixed game system didn’t work which I fixed reclining chairs didn’t work which I had to fix the plugs handicap toilet was in operable but I fixed that too at the amount of things I fixed my stay should have been free! I know it is not asked of me to fix but clearly it was not being done there’s still plenty of things in the home that do not work!

Had a wonderful time with my husband, two teenagers and two dogs. The house is a great size and could easily fit even more guests. The hot tub was so nice to relax in. There was even a handicapped accessible bathroom downstairs. We would definitely book this house again!

This home is very comfortable with a well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds and enough bathrooms to make your stay pleasant. This address was easy to locate. Our group consisted of 6 guests over the age of 70. The stairs are not a problem.
We did experience difficulty with the lock mechanism upon arrival. It took at least 4 tries to engage the lock. Unfortunately we were forced to open the lock-box for the key which was a challenge. Vacasa was very helpful and sent a technician to check on the issue. /that is the only reaseon I did not give a 5 star rating.

House was wonderful. Only 2 suggestions. 1) if your charging to use the hot tub it should be better maintained. It was foamy and it smelled bad. 2) have instructions on how to use the TV, video player or disc player. We were only able to turn the TV's on and off, but not able to get anything else to work. We could not even find or change a channel.

They made it very easy for us to arrive, settle in, and enjoy our week end. Walk to the beach for sunset and daytime. Plenty to do. The hot tub was lovely. Plenty of room for everyone.

The main reason why I'm giving this home 3 stars. Is because one of the showers was broken, some of the lights didn't work. And the room that has the bunk beds was not very clean. We weren't home much so it didn't bother us too much. I guess if they are going to charge cleaning fees they should do a better job.
Overall the house was nice and we were glad we were able to take our 2 dogs.
We would stay here again which hopefully they visit their current issues.

I was told 3 hrs before I was to check in that the hot tub was broke but they would give me $50 off a night. I called to see if I could cancel because the hot tub was gonna be an important part of the trip since we came to relax. They said they wouldn’t let me cancel because it was too late. I told them the reason we picked the house was because of the hot tub and the still refused to let me cancel and get my money back. I still ended up going and had a decent time. Wasn’t the cleanest. The way to get down to the beach was a little sketch.

Great area and great house but it definately was not very clean. Moldy shower curtains, black dog hair all over the floor. I don't think the floors had been mopped in awhile

This house was great, very pet friendly and I don't have many complaints. Some beds are soft, others firm which worked out well for us because my family and I have different opinions on what's comfortable. The only real problems were the hot tub cover desperately needs replaced as it's falling apart. The biggest issue was the various fees while booking. I'm used to the fees and have done this many times but the rental fees to this house were far higher than I've seen at others. It's not just the pet fee either. That being said, I'd recommend it to people if they are okay with paying the fees it is a pleasant stay.
Oh, and there's a bidet which was new to me but a nice little perk.

The house was very comfortable for our large family. Could of been a little cleaner. Tvs are not very user friendly. Wasn't any batteries for the remotes, or lanterns.

It was a very good place to stay at, in the game room there were different games, digital and non-digital. However, the digital games were very limited, but they are still good to last a few days.

What a great layout for family or friend gatherings. Well stocked kitchen, great selection of entertainment, fun and interesting books to browse. The pictures don't do justice to the rooms and amenities of this house. We really enjoyed staying here.

Property was great. Showers were awesome. Love that there was so many bathrooms. And the hose out front with the hot and cold water was great way to get the sand off before you went into the house. My only complaints were that there was not enough propane for the BBQ and the BBQ was in pretty rough shape. They did not have the backup propane take filled and we could have went to town and filled it and they would of reimbursed us but it was our last meal there and I did not want to go through all of that. Also had a lot of trouble with the internet not working the whole time. Never did figure out the surround sound either. But over all it was a great time and the house was super close to the beach.

Wonderful and Well Stocked!
We had a small girls getaway for my future sister-in laws bachelorette. Everything worked great, but the hot tub. We called and they helped us right away. It is bigger than it looks on the website. The kitchen has anything you could need for cooking. There was a freeway selection of games to choose from. We had a nice, relaxing weekend.

Vacation 2022
It was a great house and very roomy and spacious. Only downfall was not enough seating in the living room area. I wish they would have had a discount card or membership cards for yet attractions in the surrounding areas. The BBQ needs some care and cleaning other than that it was a great time.

Great family home!
We had a lovely stay at this beautiful home! The kitchen was fully stocked, we enjoyed the games, and the converted garage was a great kids hang out. Would definitely stay again!

Nice House - Many Issues
Plumbing was backed up when we got there. Had to buy chemicals to drain tubs. Shuffleboard & foosball table in terrible condition. Couldn't figure out how to use video games. Most all other games in kitchen missing pcs. Couldn't use hot tub as it leaked & super heavy lid was broken & I didn't trust the cleanliness but I paid an extra fee for use. Kitchen ceiling leaked the day before we left. Washing machine was super stinky so we had to clean that. The BBQ grill was disgusting & I couldn't get the propane to burn hot enough to begin to use it. That was a huge disappointment. I heard nothing back from property mgmt after reporting all of this. I specifically chose this place because of all the games for all ages & were unable to use 99% of them. Oh yes, foldup frames are all broken. We had to pull the mattresses off and some family had to sleep on the floor. They were only there 2 nights but that was my daughter with all the grandkids that I got this place for & there wasn't much they could play with because everything is broken. There's not much seating in the living room so with all the other amenities out of play, there was not only no room for the kids but nothing for them to do so it was difficult to keep them entertained. I hate to write bad reviews but sadly, it was one disappointment after the other. We stayed Thanksgiving week 2021 and I waited over a month to write this hoping the mgmt would offer some kind of compensation. The maintenance guy came by when we called in the ceiling leak & we went through everything with him plus I called Vacasa & told them everything. I was told I would be contacted by mgmt and that didn't happen which only adds insult to injury & compelled me to share my experience.

Great location for price!
Easy walk to the beach. The hot tub was a nice touch. There were some things that weren’t operating, but it wasn’t worth the trouble to contact Vacasa and our schedule was pretty packed, so we truly had no time to coordinate. The couch in the main room near the kitchen does not recline. It’s a two seater sofa with a cup holder between so you can’t lay across the coach either. The plugs were all messed up so we just left it. It’s the couch near the fireplace and main tv so being able to snuggle up would have been nice. The Toto toilet did not work. Maybe it was batteries, but again, didn’t have time to investigate. The drain in the upstairs bathroom (the one that is in the bedroom) was clogged. We couldn’t use that shower at all as the tub would fill up and that is gross! Communication with Vacasa was fairly smooth, but response time is slightly delayed. We had read in previous reviews that the oven wasn’t working, but it was functioning fine for us. I reached out in advance to make sure since we were doing a holiday meal there. They did respond, but not as timely as I would have hoped. Again, for pet friendly, it met my expectations, but those things I mentioned were definitely worth noting for future families.

The house is big. The kitchen area is nice and has a storage rack to store your items in. The cookware and utensils are in pretty decent shape, which was nice. There is a Toto toilet downstairs that acts as a bidet and has a heated seat. Everyone got a trip over that. The walk to the beach is fairly short and the beach is beautiful and uncrowded. It was wonderful to be so close to Side Door Cafe. Best food on the Oregon coast imo.
We only were staying for a couple of nights. Upon arrival we noted a black shag carpet in front of the fireplace that was covered with dog hair. As we walked through, we noted the floors and carpets were all dirty. There was no place to put garbage as the outside cans were full. My poor little dog wouldn't go in the back yard as the weeds were taller than him. We called Vacasa 2X to report these and other issues. I won't bore anyone with all the details but we never heard from the property manager or from anyone else with Vacasa as we were told we would. Checking in to a dirty home during a covid surge is rather unnerving. This is the third time we have rented from Vacasa. We have experienced problems with each one. I hate to write a negative review. In spite of the condition of the house, we had a good time. This particular area has a property manager and cleaning staff that just doesn't care. They don't have to. People keep booking. We have been renting vacation homes for over 20 years. Every once in a while you get a lemon but the overwhelming majority of the homes we have rented are wonderful and have seldom needed to reach out to property management. I love the Gleneden Beach area and hope to find other homes there that are not managed by Vacasa.

Adult Family beach trip
It was an easy walk to the beach. The house was nicely laid out for family dinners, playing cards, sitting on the deck and having everyone be together. There were plenty of accommodations for 7 adults, and everyone had a great time!

We loved the house! Modern, great area of gleneden, the house is well layed out, all modern amenities, clean. The gas fireplace is awesome, the hot tub is awesome! We had 1 major issue and a few small issues that would not by any means prevent us from renting again. Major issue, the oven would not heat, preheat, past 175. It took a 30 min Mac. 2 hours waiting for the oven and cooking at 175. Minor, the housekeeping didn't check that the garbage and recycle was completely full, and not enough trash bags. Called the maintenance, and he came right over! Brought us bags and made space in the garbage can. The other thing, all of the remotes were open when we got there, nothing worked and no batteries on site. My suggestions - the room upstairs with the couches should have a real bed. A little odd. I would also suggest putting up signs outside reminding pet owners to clean up after their pets, poop everywhere in the back. We really did love the space and would definitely rent again.

What to know about this rental:-Linens are beyond plentiful including towels. -Two cots & a hide-a-bed in the upstairs tv room are among the beds to house 11 people that are not completely mentioned in description. The queen beds have pillow tops and are very comfy.-Oven is a convection oven so that may be part of why everyone says it doesnt work. We got it to work well enough to heat some pre-cooked frozen food but I wouldn't trust it with anything raw. -Grill was fantastic. -Hot tub was nice though it was sandy. Sand happens at the beach. Just be sure to shower after. -Location is nice since its central to many sights. In regards to how near the beach it is, it's not when considering the distance for young ones. We never did use Glenaden beach but it was hard to even hear the ocean. On Google maps it looks like a good sized walk.-Some corners could use more cleaning attention.-I used several avenues trying to contact Vacasa about minor questions without any responses. -We were not informed what cleaning was required from us until the night before checkout. To our delight the requirements were minimal. While it was a pleasant surprise the suspense and frustration of trying to find that information early on instead of hours before was not pleasant.-The small shuffle board table in the game room has a fine sand thats part of the game. Not pleasant with keeping preschoolers out of it.-Instead of 2 individual seats downstairs a second couch could be utilized by a group our size much better. -There are some board games provided but unless youre a culinary grad, bring your favorite board game from home.-Could use some wine stoppers. Very big into wine at this house.-Bring dvd's. The main living space was the only tv we found would allow streaming services. DVD players are abundant throughout. This house met our needs wonderfully all the way down to the make-up remover wipes they leave out for guests. It felt safe, comfortable, warm and inviting. It felt like home, not like living on top of other people's left overs

Had some issues
When we arrived it was 45 minutes late to be able to check in cause they were still cleaning the upstairs smelled like smoke. The trash was over full at check in there was 8 plus bags of trash piled up in the trash so no where to put our trash for a week then the last day we were there some lady just walks into the house scared my dog and kids cause they thought they had the house that night and we were still booked another night...lady didnt even knock just walked in never had so many issues in a stay with you.
