About this house rental

Come stay at our adorable family friendly summer house, located in beautiful Narragansett, RI! Our house has 3 queen bedrooms and a bathroom, which was recently updated. Each bedroom and the living room has wall-mounted large, flat screen TVs, each with access to Netflix and cable. The living room also has a cable TV and a DVD player. The house also has high speed wifi. Please note: we do not provide linens (sheets and towels) with our rental, but can be available to rent for an additional fee. Please contact me if you are interested.

The kitchen is fully stocked with all the amenities! It has a full sized refrigerator, gas stove/oven, microwave, toaster, coffee pot, and blender. It has plenty of pots and pans, silverware, various kitchen utensils, as well as plenty of dishes and silverware.

Our house is great for families! It's located close to a neighborhood playground, tennis and basketball courts and a baseball field. We provide kid-friendly games and toys for your use during your stay.

It’s just a short walk or quick drive to Scarborough State Beach, a short drive to the kid/family friendly Roger Wheeler State Beach or Narragansett Town Beach.

The house has central A/C for your sleeping comfort after a hot day at the beach. There's a great backyard for kids to play while you cook dinner or grill on the backyard gas BBQ grill. The deck has a table, chairs and a large umbrella for relaxing. There's also a great fire pit: great for relaxing after a long day of fun in the sun!

The outdoor shower has both hot and cold water; great for washing away the sand from a day at the beach.

Drop in your kayak, go quahoging or watch the gorgeous sunsets over Salt Pond, just down the street.

Our house has an open concept living room, kitchen and dining room.

The newly renovated bathroom has a full sized tub and houses a brand new washer and dryer.

Sunset Farms, located just down the street, is a great spot to pick up local meats and produce for the grill, as well as firewood for our backyard fire pit.

The farmer’s market at Fisherman’s Memorial Campground on Sundays is another great resource for local produce, meat, eggs and other handmade local goodies.

The Narragansett Pier has an excellent group of shops and restaurants. Nana’s Ice Cream and Trio restaurant are personal favorites!

We loved our stay here and the house had everything we needed. It was handy to have a coffee shop and diner nearby and you can even walk to the beach. We will definitely come back to the area.

My sister and I enjoyed our stay, we had all the conveniences of home and the neighborhood is so nice , just a short car trip of 5 minutes to Scarborough beach ! We got some much needed rest , just what the doctor ordered :)

The house was exactly as described and the neighborhood was very nice and friendly. The house was clean and a little larger than I thought. Plenty of the essentials and the patio was very nice with a new grill. No negatives. The hosts were awesome and made sure we were up and running. Thanks Megan!

The spacious house was full of natural light, well equipped and very comfortable. Our hosts were great! They were easy to communicate with and very accommodating. After a day of sun and swim, the home has a lovely outdoor patio space to shower, dine and later relax by the fire stove. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to a return trip!

Property is at an ideal location. Close to beaches and shops. Clean, nice open concept and well cared for. Nice outdoor shower enjoyed by all. Only qualm needs dishwasher or deeper kitchen sink. Would definitely stay there again!

Stop looking. You’ve found the perfect spot for a vacation at the beach. Gracious, helpful hosts. Comfortable, cute home with amenities galore. Close to beaches, restaurants. We spent June 2023 there, and we had to tear ourselves away. Book it! You’ll be glad you did.

Great cottage to share with family and friends for the start of summer! House was clean and check-in was super easy. Megan was helpful and responded quickly to questions about the TV. Short walk to the beach. We enjoyed the sunny deck, fire pit, and, of course, the outdoor shower.

We had a great stay here! The house was clean and cozy, with a great back deck and yard. Very short drive to Scarborough and Roger Wheeler beaches. Yard was perfect for our young son to play in and the house had toys available as well. Meghan was super responsive and helpful!

We loved this house! The house is clean and cozy and was perfect for our family of four. Our kids (2 and 5) loved having a tv in the bedrooms and the toys/books that Megan left were an added bonus! We packed up a wagon to pull our beach stuff and the kids and we’re able to walk to Scarborough beach which we visited several times. The location is great for exploring the area too! We drove into Newport a couple of times and over to mystic, ct. Did an afternoon in watch hill RI, it was cute with little shops, lighthouse, and an old merry go round. Our kids loved Adventureland that was right down the road and the moo moo ice cream shop. We placed a pick up order for groceries at stop and shop on the way down and had everything in the house we needed for cooking in. The area is beautiful and we hope to come back, would definitely recommend Megan’s house!

The beach house smelled so fresh and clean when we entered. It was truly the most comfortable beach house I have ever rented, central air, TV in every bedroom, very comfortable mattresses and the kitchen was very well stocked. The house has everything you need. When I stay in the Narragansett area again, I will be renting this beach house.

The location was close to everything: food, beach, etc. It's a huge plus to be able to come back from a hot day at the beach to central ac. The speakers on the deck were nice and we made s'mores one night using the fire pit, which my kids really enjoyed. I'l definitely stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay in this home. It had central air, celing fans in all the bedrooms., also tvs in all the bedrooms. It also had updated bathroom with new washer and dryer. It also had spacious back yard with fire pit which we enjoyed. Called Megan home owner with question, and was very helpful, hope to stay there next year!

House was neatly clean, has all pots and pans, even wine glasses and baking pans, so you feel home! Central AC was perfect. Small deck, but enough for 6-8 people to eat at their outside table. Good size back yard, loved making s'mores in the fire pit. Quite neighborhood , Stop shop, Gas station, farm (to buy wood $5) and restaurants close by. Only 5 minutes from 3 state beaches. Megan is a great host, responded to my texts almost immediately every time I needed. We will certainly go back next Summer!

Megan's cottage was perfect for our very first trip to Narragansett! Not only was it sparkling clean but wonderfully decorated! The beach theme was tasetfully carried throughout the house. I loved the hardware on the bathroom cabinetry with seashells and seahorses! Very creative! For a smaller sized cottage the open concept really gave you a good sense of space. Because of diet restrictions I needed to take full advantage of the kitchen! I completely appreciated that the kitchen was so well equipped. A huge bonus for my husband and I was the comfort of the beds! Since we are seniors we can really use a good bed when away from our own!! The nearby Sunset Farm was my go to for seasonal produce and a quick trip down the road to the Wharf Ferry Fish Market provided mouth watering fresh off the boat fish each night! That was a dream come true! The kayaking was fun and the beach was great. However, one of the best parts of the day was my morning walk around a charming and funky beach neighborhood . I met several of the neighbors and learned about the area and some history. Everyone was very friendly and I saw one garden, one interesting deck, one architectural feature after another that added to the beauty and uniqueness of the neighborhood. I would highly recommend Megan's home to anyone looking for an authentic beach vacation!

This is our 3rd year renting this home and I can’t imagine spending our beach vacation anywhere else.As usual when we arrive the house is immaculate and ready for us,not to mention this year had a few upgrades to the deck making it our place to be every night.This homes location is perfect as well with great beaches and restaurants within a mile.We look forward to our week here in Narragansett every year, until next year 32 Durkin.......❤️

This was a great place to stay. It’s centrally located near several beaches, restaurants & stores. This is a charming house, that was very clean. Having a toddler, I appreciated the toys & books that entertained my daughter all week! Meghan was a pleasure to do business with. She was prompt, friendly & attentive. I would definitely stay again.
