About this cabin rental
Welcome to Alpine Vista, a beautiful Blowing Rock cabin with perfect privacy and gorgeous mountain views! Remodeled as of Spring 2014, the cabin features many wonderful features simply not found in most homes.
The main level features an open great room dominated by a wall of windows overlooking the stunning mountain views. The kitchen has stainless steel appliances, a restored antique gas stove and oven, tiled backsplash throughout, and granite counters. Leather furnishings are arranged around a gas fireplace and an HDTV, and there are a pair of sliding glass doors leading onto the covered screened porch, comfortably furnished for maximum relaxation as you sit and enjoy the views. The porch can either be completely enclosed in cooler weather, or glass panels can be slid aside to enjoy the fresh mountain breezes.
Just off the great room is a den with a leather sleeper sofa and an HDTV with an Xbox360 and Kinect. Be sure to bring some games from home to enjoy, or use the ones provided in the home for you.
On either side of the great room is a master suite with a King bed, HDTV, and bath. The suite to the right of the great room has a pair of connected vanities and a spacious glass and tile shower, and is open to the den. The suite to the left of the great room has a private bath with two standalone marble topped vanity sinks, a jetted bathtub, and a stone tiled shower with rainhead.
Stairs to the entertainment level are through the enclosed porch. The lower floor of the home features a second living area with a sofa and bubble hockey table and a bar with an HDTV. There is a home theater room with a 10' projection screen and a projection system capable of showing BluRay and DVD movies as well as selections on Netflix and on DishNetwork. Off the entertainment room is a sauna and a half bath, as well as a door to the stone firepit ringed with Adirondack chairs overlooking the views.
The double-bay detached garage is just a few steps away from the front porch. The home also has ample parking in the circular gravel drive.

Perfect location and so many amenities. We loved the house and all it had to offer. Really enjoyed the hot tub and sauna after day of seeing sights.
Sunset views were incredible.

This was our second time staying at Alpine Vista. You can’t beat it! The mountain view is perfection. We love the amenities that come with this cabin. Great location in Blowing Rock with lots of neat things to do nearby.

Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Warning! Do not follow Google Maps’ directions to the cabin. It will take you via Caroline Circle. The road is not drivable for a non 4 wheel drive (even then it would still be questionable). Crazy steep, dirt road - not safe for majority of vehicles. This is by no fault of the rental agency. They sent the correct directions taking you an alternate way in, but I trusted my GPS - again I take all blame for that! The cabin’s cleanliness could have been better, but it wasn’t worth complaining about. The mattresses are very soft and due to be replaced. The view from the sun room is absolutely breathtaking! We loved spending time in the sunroom/back porch. The hot tub was great along with awesome mountain views. My husband and I loved the sauna. Definitely a unique thing you won’t find at many cabins. The whole family enjoyed the theater room and fire pit. Of course you don’t come to a cabin to spend time on the internet, but my husband did need to do some work and unfortunately the internet connection was poor. The location was great! Very convenient to all kinds of fun things! Go ride the Alpine Roller Coaster. It’s about a 40 minute drive from the cabin, but it was so fun and worth it! I would definitely recommend this cabin to friends and we do plan on staying here again!

Amazing Views
The sunroom was better than expected and we really utilized that space. The views were incredible and I would stay here again if everything was in working order.
The hot tub was broken (we were notified 5+ days ahead of our trip and they were unable to fix it in time), only 2 chairs were present by the fire pit. And we were not told to bring our own chairs. We still enjoyed the fire pit area but it would have been nice to know to bring our own chairs.
We booked this house for my dads 60th birthday and our search was filtered on a hot tub. For this prime amenity to be unavailable, it really put a damper on the experience.

The views are breathtaking in this immaculately maintained home. We had everything we needed and enjoyed our stay thoroughly. We will be back!

Property is very nice and secluded. Million dollar views looking South down the range. Road in is gravel but not in bad shape for the 10 or so homes on the mountain. 4 wheel drive is a plus as there is another exit down from this property but not for a normal car. Home theatre was very nice. Would definitely stay again!

Winter getaway
Very very nice view. House is good for family with kids. Drive way is a little long but there is a short way for 4x4s.

Mountain top heaven
What a terrific place! Tough road in, but not a problem if you go slowly. House is perfect!

Beautiful cabin!
We stayed at this cabin for a short honeymoon trip and were disappointed that the hot tub was broken, but still had a great time at this gorgeous cabin. The view is amazing and everything else about the place was great. We will be back!

Best Rental
The home and view are beyond words. My husband loved finally getting to use his off road vehicle to approach the house. We spent all our day time in the sunroom absorbing the view and night time we fell in love with the movie theater. A week was NOT enough! We did not find the time to go in the sauna, hot tub or use the fire pit. I am not a fan of this property management company but I could not reduce my rating of the house due to their misconduct. The only other downfall was that we may never find another house rental that ever compares. Alpine Vista set the bar entirely too high!!!
