The property is in a great location, very quite and staff are very friendly

Only stayed one night, but the place was clean and comfortable. We brought food with us and everything we needed was in the kitchen to cook.
We would have stayed longer, but that’s a pretty stiff price for a night.

Super friendly staff welcomed us. Grounds have a lovely cascading koi pond, garden, and gathering area overlooking the bay/ocean. Very serene. I loved this place. The furniture was ornately carved. The sliding window door between the bedroom and living area was unique and allowed additional light in. Nice kitchen, very comfortable bed, great shower. Only stayed one night, but could have stayed longer. Very peaceful and laid back.

We enjoyed our stay in Hana. The location was beautiful and convenient. We divided our trip to Hana into two days and so glad we did. We would love to stay in Hana longer next time.

Great place in a middle of Hana, close to beautiful beach.

A very nice value on the Hana coast! We were surprised how spacious the one-bedroom condo was. Big living room with pull out queen bed, king in bedroom, two lanais, we’ll stocked kitchen…even good local coffee. Wi-Fi was also surprisingly strong.
Check in was super-easy with lots of aloha.
I highly recommend it!

I had taken the road to Hana many years ago, and being older now, felt some hesitation about embarking on the driving adventure. And it is challenging, and not everyone seems to follow the rules of etiquette. But it was well worth it! This unit is right on the beach, well, more of a black volcanic rock shore. Not safe for swimming, but breathtaking. We also enjoyed nearby Hamoa Beach. The unit itself is fabulous, with superior crafting, materials and design touches. We loved the window panels would could be arranged for fresh breezes from the ocean through the main living area and into the bedroom. And everything was in good working order. So restful and refreshing to be there. The onsite manager was very friendly. The food trucks are amazing! We enjoyed Huli Huli. On the way back, sure enough, there was a dicey moment when a flatbed tow truck (we wondered who was the unlucky person needing the service) blazed across one of the one-lane bridges before we had fully exited (we were committed) and passed by seemingly with about six inches to spare. But by then we'd had, and treasured, our Hana experience. As a bonus, we stumbled on a surfing competition just before Paia on the way back. Altogether, the back-and-forth trip to Hana was magical.

Travel expectations vary from one person to the next. With that said, my family and I are rather low maintenance when it comes to travel. Even with us being low maintenance, this place was perfect. Comfortable beds, hot water for showers, amazing location, picture perfect views, and a welcoming management staff all made for a fantastic stay. Would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful property with polished wood features, bay view, large outdoor dining area. Access to beach at foot of property. Would be perfect for one couple but to cut costs our two couples made use of the sofa-bed to convert lounge into one bedroom. Sofa bed comfortable and large enough (I'm 5'10") but very squeaky. We walked the 16 minutes to dine at The Ranch for evening. Hosts provide comprehensive pre-arrival information about local attractions. Arrangements were made for our late check-in. Lovely, quiet town- wish we'd stayed two nights rather than one to allow time to explore other beaches. We booked 3-6pm entry to Waianapanapa Park...an absolute must!!

Awesome. After the long drive on the road to Hana, settling here for the night was pure paradise. The view and vibe is amazing. Not a lot of space, but perfect for a completely laid back feel. If we stayed for more than 1 night, we likely would not have wanted to leave, ever. Highly recommend staying here if in Hana.

Property inside is kept very well. Private Black sand beach is nice. Price value was not attractive.

We were very pleased with our stay. no AC wasn’t a problem with lanai door open. Nice products in the bathroom. Comfortable bed. Overall, the unit felt very spacious. My only suggestion would be to improve the lighting inside, especially the kitchen. I felt myself straining to see when working in there. All in all, a great stay at a well-equipped property!

This was my second time staying here and it was as beautiful as I remembered from 10 years ago. Thank you!

Our family of four (3 adults and a teenager) stayed a night after driving the Road to Hana and exploring Waianapanapa State Park. After enjoying a beautiful sunrise on the beach in the morning - just a few steps from our room - we hiked the south side of Hana in Haleakala N.P.-Kipahulu section. Morning is Perfect for beating the
crowds. Unit 104 had everything we needed, was very clean, the pullout, master bed & pillows were amazingly comfy, we loved the little area off of the master bedroom to sit outside and the lanai was so wonderful with a great view of the water and pretty landscape! Leave the sliding doors open all night and fall asleep to the ocean waves - so peaceful - We Highly recommend this location!!

I would’ve enjoyed it a lot more if it didn’t rain the entire time. Of course it is a rainforest and the grounds are beautiful and the scenery is gorgeous

This was my first experience staying overnight in Hana, but it won’t be my last. The property is beautifully situated on Hana Bay with a lovely black rock beach to the left and a more traditional sand beach to the right. I rented a one bedroom unit with a king bed and sleep couch and was very pleased with the view, the cleanliness of the room, the supplied amenities for cooking, and the convenient location of the property to the beach and the things to see in town. The property is accurately described as older, but well-maintained, clean, and give you a nice vibe of the early days of tourism in Hawaii. I was worried about no air-conditioning but shouldn’t have been, even with the 90° day we had there the sea breeze and the fans in the room or more than enough to keep us comfortable and admittedly with the windows and screens open better connected to the sounds and sights of the ocean. If you want a totally unobstructed view of the ocean try to get a room in the lower building, or a room on the upper floor In the upper building. You might be tempted to think the rooms are overpriced because they have no climate control, but this is Hawaii and it is Hana where rooms are very limited. The staff was very friendly, helpful with local directions, and with quick responses to my communication. In summary, if you want a quiet, peaceful place to grab a bit of old Hawaii charm with excellent views and quick access to the towns offerings I highly recommend this property.

Lovely views and ocean sounds
Highly recommend. Stayed here during our drive on the Hana road. Well equipped and beautifully view of the water. You can lay in bed and hear the ocean. The pull out couch as a second bed is not very comfortable but if you hiked along your drive to Hana, you will sleep.

Hide-a-bed was BADLY broken & could cause injury! Linens were dirty; GROSS!! For the VRBO price, it wasn't worth it!

Very roomy condo with kitchen, range top and fridge for simple cooking. Very clean. Enjoyed the large balcony ocean front view. We were most impressed by the receptionist who was extremely friendly and helpful, providing a lot of useful info. Really like this property, will be back next time

Wonderful
We only stayed one night, but we absolutely loved this gorgeous unit. It was clean , comfortable and just beautiful inside. And the view of the bay was fantastic. I only wish we could have stayed longer!

This place was such a delightful find. Open floor plan with screen doors at either end opening to views of either the ocean or garden. Well-appointed kitchen, comfy bed, fabulous pillows (that is such an overlooked detail!), and beach towels you can borrow!
Our only suggestion was that they provide more than two towel sets for our weekend stay - most hotels or units do. Highly recommend this place as a landing spot to explore East Maui's treasures.

The room had your basic kitchen and pullout sofa and king size bed. It would be great for a couple or a 4 friends open to sharing a bed. The space is very clean and situated very near restaurants and shops. The check in process was very quick easy and staff was very friendly. They may be available for an early check in if possible. The beach had an amazing view of the sunrise in the morning. I would recommend it for an overnight or 2 night stay just be aware that the unit doesn’t have ac. Besides that it was a very pleasant stay for us. The lanai shares a window with the kitchen. For some reason we all loved this.

Loved the location. Did not like the bathroom as it needed some repairs. The sink faucet's needed tightening. and some other minor repairs. We will stay again.
