We were wonderfully welcomed like family, felt safest, enjoyed great amenities, and nearby beaches. Easy access to pool, beach, and liked the peaceful atmosphere.

From the helpfulness of both Melissa and Matthew the condo mgmt. to all the fellow guest and owners we were wonderfully welcomed like family. Beautiful pool and hot tub area in a well maintained and meticulously landscaped and that was laid out to have ultimate privacy to all units. We felt the safest of all places that we ever stayed and everyone on entire island was friendly and helpful wherever we visited!

We understand the dust around Molokai however, the unit has not had a deep cleaning in years. Dated furnishings, borderline shabby, linens are old, t.v. didn't work until we discovered cables weren't connected in the back of the TV. and the remote was in another room, old curtains were off the tracks, no sign of a frying pan in the kitchen, and used soap was left on the top of the shower from previous guests. We had friends staying in another unit that was warm and inviting so we were there and only came back to sleep. Exceptional condo in my opinion is misleading.

The inside of the cabinets needed cleaning. The bathroom fans need to be taken apart and cleaned. One bathroom fan needs a new motor. Would like TP to be stocked there. Otherwise, everything was good.

We really enjoyed the unit. It felt like home.

My family and I enjoyed our stay up until the electricity went out on Tuesday night at around 6:00pm. The problem got resolved at around 9:30pm. Other than that we had a beautiful stay at Ke nani Kai.

We were a group of four that stayed at the Ke Nani Kai condos in the few days before the Molokai to Oahu World Championship race in July which three of us competed in. The check in process was super easy we got quick response from the owner when we had questions. Everything was perfect and the condo accomodated all of us very comfortably. Thank you so much for a very relaxing stay before our big day!

Great condo, easy access to the pool, perfect ground floor walkout. Only thing was the beach was either a really long walk, or a really short drive. Would definitely stay here again!

Love the property and the access to beaches and solitude, which is what we were looking for! The condo was “dated”….. master bedroom n bath were done nicely, floor was tiled nicely throughout condo. Kitchen was adequate, as well as ants in the kitchen around the sink and counter area, living room was nice, although one lamps on/off button didn’t work so in order to use we had to plug in or unplug it. Door for laundry space needs fixing and washer leaked a little bit. Second bedroom n bath were very outdated, shower head was rusted and pretty much stuck in one direction. We’d love going back to Moloka’i, but probably would seek out another condo. Kind regards, Roxanne n Ricki

We enjoyed the lake cottage feel to the condo. Beds were comfortable and we had nice breezes for sleeping. The complex has very nice common pool, hot tub and tennis areas. Walk to the beach and enjoy swimming in the summer months and watching waves crashing and local surfers through the winter season. Great laid back vibe. We loved our stay, thank you Josh.

My son wanted to come up here for his birthday and this is our second time at this property! Easy access to the room and check in was a breeze. It was a busy time of year I guess for up here so there was a lot of people using the pool area

This property is great because it is just a few minutes walk to the beach. Even better, the property has a really nice pool and hot tub. Our family really enjoyed the condo. There is no view from this condo, but the area is quiet, and you will be visited by turkeys and a peacock each morning. It is a great place for the price!

Owner Josh gave great suggestions for activities and was very accommodating to our requests. The condo is breezy and does not suffer from the lack of AC as long as you keep the doors open. The pool and hot tub are great, but the 14 years old and up rule for the hot tub is enforced, which was a bummer for the kids. Nearby beaches are gorgeous. Parking is easy. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking and there is a dishwasher, as well as a washer and dryer, which made our family vacation much easier. Thanks for a great visit to Molokai!

My 16 year old son and I took a week to do some healing from the loss of his father. Everyone we met was kind and thoughtful. The beaches were beautiful and were not crowded. It was just the thing we needed to realign ourselves as a family and remind ourselves about the goodness of God.

Molokai did not disappoint!
This was our first stay on
Molokai. It’s a beautiful island with very friendly people. Our VRBO was a seven minute walk to the beach. All accommodations were available at the condo. It’s a bit out of date though. A little bit of an update to the property would create a great atmosphere for your stay.

My quiet place
It’s such a peaceful place to be. The room was clean and neat. There are great instructions for use of the tv-dvd player- cable. When I had to reach out to Josh he answered right away. I would rent his unit again.

Not Maui...thankfully
After having spent a great deal of time on some of the busier Hawaiian islands, I really appreciate Molokai. The people here are friendly, but not touristy. Don't expect a welcome lei when you get off the plane. What you will get is an island that's not all about tourism. Check out both sides of the island and appreciate the diversity. The island is loaded with wildlife, including Axis deer which need to be looked out for when driving at night. The resort is easy to navigate, the people are friendly and the pool is a welcome oasis after a day roaming the island.

Great location on Molokai
Excellent development with great amenities. Quiet and relaxing. Easy to get to several great beaches including Kephui (walk) and Papohaku (short drive). We’ll appointed property with good working appliances. Just had some problems with ants in the kitchen and a broken screen door on the back porch, otherwise really enjoyable.

I want to make it clear that we had a great time on the trip but look to reviews like this for making our decisions, so I want to call it like it was. We brought twelve family members, including three generations, and booked three KNK condos for a week. This unit was the smallest of the three and the most dated. All three could have been cleaned better, but this one had issues like coffee grounds in the microwave and empty bottles and a dirty sock under the master bed, visible from the living room. There were a lot of electronic devices hooked up to the TV in the living room and master bedroom, but no info on how any of them worked and we were never able to use these. The TV in the second bedroom had cable. All of the TV's were old school analog, not digital flat screens. There were three beach chairs, but one was rusted and broken. There were two standing fans, but one was inoperable. The lanai has a nice view, but the building creates a windbreak and it's extremely warm out there in the afternoon and evenings. It's on the first floor and the neighbors upstairs could be heard walking around at all hours.
Molokai is not a tourist destination. The beaches on the west side near the condo are beautiful but the currents are strong and can be treacherous. The beaches on the east side are inside a reef; the water is muddy and the beaches unattractive. The condo's pool area is wonderful and well maintained, as is the tennis court. That's about all there is to do there, besides a golf course on the east side. For us, we wanted family time and were OK with this but some people may be expecting the stereotypical Hawaiian getaway and this isn't it.
There was some confusion with the KNK staff during our check-in but that was quickly resolved. If you want to have something delivered, DO NOT have it shipped by USPS -- they only deal with PO Boxes and returned our shipment the same day it came in, giving us no opportunity to pick it up in Maunaloa.
Our owner was easy to deal with and responded to emails promptly. It's fun to watch the wild turkeys, peacocks and deer wandering in and around the complex. It's a great place to visit, if you go in with your eyes open.

Like going back in time
After folks on the Big Island kept telling us that there is nothing on Molokai, we discovered a beautiful paradise that seemed lost in time. The only town on the island, looks as it was created as a movie set 70 years ago. The apartment and Ke Nani Kai completely met our needs. The pool and jacuzzi area was immaculate. There were miles of trails, many of which through the old fairways to hike that provided gorgeous views and access to hidden beaches. For those so inclined, the nearest beach provided excellent surfing. In short, Molokai is a gem for those of us who are in no rush, who don’t need countless dining opportunities, and who appreciate life’s gentle beauties.

Great for Business, Comfortable Condo
This was the second time I have booked with Josh for my employee's who were on business.
They were once again greeted by a clean condo with everything they needed for their stay. They had another great stay with zero complaints! I highly recommend this property for anyone traveling in groups, for families, but especially anyone on business. The condo gives enough space for multiple people, the kitchen is well equipped with everything you'd need for making meals, the separate bathrooms are such a nice feature and the owner as well as the property management are a pleasure to deal with.

Great location
Loved staying so close to the ocean. We could hear the waves crashing at night. The lanai was wonderful and we had peacocks and turkeys plus many other birds. Everyone was friendly and the pool was great. Josh helped us when we needed beach chairs for the week. Beds were good, but closets were full not leaving room for our stuff.

I'll be back for sure!
This property was perfect for my family. I was traveling with my grandmother and I like to ensure her comfort.
This location is peaceful and spacious. Full kitchen with pots, pans, plates and appliances. We were able to cook ourselves dinner which was awesome since most things close early in Molokai. Great parking nearby the condo. Washer/dryer, nice big shower, tv, wifi... it was everything we needed.

Its a beautiful peaceful place to get away from the everyday hustle and bustle. All you need is your clothes food and drinks. Everything is there for you to use. No need to go anywhere for anything. Beach is a short peaceful walk and none to few people on the beach which is awesome.

Top Spot
Stayed here for the start of the Molokai to Oahu race in July. Well appointed, clean apartment with everything we needed. Josh was very helpful. Highly recommend.

Clean, snd lots of room.
It was farther than expected. Clean and comfortable. The unit could use new screen doors, an air conditioning unit in the master bedroom, and new shower heads in the bathrooms. It was a short drive to the beach. The pool was nice and the hours were accommodating. Registration is only open from 1 to 6pm. So if you miss it, you better know where to go. Joshua, the owner was also accommodating to our needs. We really enjoyed the relaxation Molokai has to offer. We will return again. Thanks!

Wonderful relaxing vacation spot.
We really enjoyed our stay at Josh’s condo. The unit was comfortable and clean. Communication with Josh was easy. West Molokai is beautiful and relaxing.

Suffers from decay and neglect.
The unit was dirty, cabinets are falling apart, toilet has problems, Teflon coating on pans is ruined. Too many small appliances clutter the very limited kitchen space. There are other units in this complex in better shape.
Common grounds were nice, pool was clean, local beaches were great.
Molokai was a great to relax but not to be pampered. We will be back next year but will stay on the lush east end.

Good communication by owner. Easy to work with.

Thanks Josh.
