I absolutely love the place, location, and ease of communication with Craig and Christine.
My family initially decided to leave early morning Friday so we could arrive for our Check In that afternoon at 3p. Well, we left around noon because getting baby situated and calming him down took a whole lot of time and effort. Soon as we were on the road, I informed Christine that I had Shipt service to deliver baby food and some travel items that I've forgotten to pack. Once Shipt delivered my order, Christine was kind enough to place it inside. I was glad she did, DC heat was UGH. It was so hot once we got there, around 6 pm, and throughout our stay. My husband and I, am sure baby also, were grateful that she went above and beyond to doing that for us.
Her instructions from the start of our stay to the end were all clear and to the point. We were really low maintenance honestly. Mostly we stayed in my husband's parents' place. We lived in the DMV for over 7 years; so we were familiar with the weather and area.
This unit was truly situated in a great neighborhood. You can walk to the mall from there, especially if you were a workout fanatic. Neighborhood is safe; although as a woman I'd still have a walking buddy (not counting a dog). We stayed during the Fourth of July. Instead of heading to the mall for fireworks, we called it a night. Honestly we did not hear any fireworks. They said the fireworks began at around 9 pm. We went to back to the unit around 7 and went to bed around 10. Maybe a couple of seconds of fireworks and that was it. The building was on a quiet street. Even on a Monday work day the there wasn't a lot of traffic and we hardly heard our neighbors - no footstep sounds, chatter or any sounds at all.
The inside of the unit is very spacious. Everything you need is there. Laundry is downstairs. Bring coins; there is no coin machine in the laundry area. Cleanliness is important regardless of the current situation. This is place IS clean. This place DOES have disinfectant sprays that you can use. This place is immaculate! Regardless of whether they sanitized the place or not, I make it a point to wipe down high touch areas as a habit while staying at any rental places, bed and breakfast, even hotels, and pre-covid.
Overall great place. Wow. We lucked out in the place in having really kind people. Craig and Christine were top notch for us. We were very lucky.
Thank you so much!!

Pros: Excellent location for seeing all the sites. Close to Metro as well. Grocery shopping and many restaurants within walking distance. Christine was very helpful.
Cons: Small kitchen - could use a small nonstick frying pan for eggs. The bedroom window has AC unit and we were unable to open window for any fresh air. Extra bed in living room not too comfortable.
Overall, worth the money and would stay again if in DC

Everything was as described. The property Owner was responsive to our questions prior to coming and Christine, his business partner, was so helpful upon arrival. The apartment is very close to the metro, making it easy to get to the sights of DC. Also. Capitol Hill neighborhood is very nice, lots of restaurants, bars, shops etc.

I rented this property for my daughter and I to visit the Smithsonian. The location is excellent - you can walk to the Mall - it will take about 30 mins depending on where you are going. Or the metro is only 2 block away. The neighborhood is very nice. There is a Starbucks, pizza place, burger place and mexican place just a block away with even more if you want to venture a little further. And parking is included!! Parking was a huge plus for me considering the cost to park your car in DC.
The host and co-host are a pleasure to deal with. The co-host, Christine, made the check-in process as convenient as possible for me and made herself available during my stay should I need anything. That was very much appreciated!
The place itself had everything I needed: bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, dining room, living room. Wifi is also included. The kitchen is stocked with anything you would need. We used the kitchen mainly for prepping breakfast and snacks. Sure it's small, but more than I have ever had at a hotel! I have stayed at other VRBOs where things like soap, paper towels, sheets, bath towels, hand towels etc were not included. So it was another big plus that everything was included here .
If I go back to DC I would certainly look to stay here again!

Just got back from a five night stay here. The location is perfect - just at the top of Capitol Hill in a residential area with a Starbucks on the corner, a block off the main road. Easy bus ride to and from the mall or a mile walk. The apartment had everything we needed including a lot of nice little extras like tissues, soaps, and soy sauce for the dumplings we bought at the near by Trader Joes. Prime Now delivered food to us too within two hours which was great! The manager of the property was also really friendly and quick to respond the one time we had a question.

The condo is close to the metro rail and basically around the corner from the capitol building and Supreme Court. We found the condo to be clean and comfortable. Restaurants just steps away. Christine was most helpful and was quick to respond to any inquiry. We definitely do recommend this condo.

Good location
Good location but found the kitchen and bathroom to be incredibly small - even for two people. No room to to keep one person's toiletries in the bathroom. Tried to cook breakfast in the kitchen but no counter space so even if we wanted to eat some meals in, it wasn't possible. Dishwasher wasn't working and I wasn't too keen on doing dishes on vacation. Not great lighting and no full-length mirror. A/C comes from window units which were very loud. Bed was very comfortable. My teenage son said futon was fine. No regular cable TV so could only receive specific options. Space would be ideal for a single traveller if those other things don't matter. Owner and property manager were very nice and accommodating.

Great Location and very comfortable accommodations
Met all of our expectations. Great Location, clean and comfortable accommodations. Our contact was super, helped us get settled and provided a lot of information. We plan to stay here again.

Great Stay.
This was a mother daughter trip. What a great location to be in. It's a good stretch of the legs to get to the National Mall, but very doable. When we were out late at night we Ubered and it was $10.00 or less. Definitely would recommend.

Perfect for our budget minded family wanted something clean and walking distance to capital and Mall
Old 1900 neighborhood with lots of charm. Quiet street is just a half block to eclectic food joints. Clean apartment slept the 4 out us fine (futon bed would be better for younger child under 10.) Kitchen equipped, big dining table, a nice tv area. Real close to. Library of Congress, Capital and Smithsonian. Short walk to a trader Joes. Rent a bikes are down the street.

Fantastic place to stay
The kids and I had such a great experience. Craig and Gena were amazing to work with. Their communication was awesome from the beginning of the booking to the checking out. They were always keeping me well informed of what was going on and reached out during the stay to make sure I had everything I needed to make the trip the best as possible.
During the trip I only had a few questions (because they were so amazing leading up and at the beginning of the trip) were answered quickly.
The location of the apt is great. You can walk to the mall or a few blocks is the metro that has a lot of stops by places to visit. There are also a lot of restaurants/bars within a few blocks that offer great food and atmosphere. The area is very safe and never did I feel uncomfortable walking around with kids or by myself (including alone after dark to run to grab food or to get groceries at the small market place close by.
You can grab a uber for lyft for $8-10 to take you anywhere around the mall or a few dollars more to Georgetown or Chinatown area.
The apt is perfect for 3-4 people with a nice bedroom with a comfortable bed. The dining room is perfect to play cards/games. The living room has a nice couch and also a futon for sitting and sleeping on.
I have no complaints about this apartment and will definitely rent again next time I am in DC
