About this apartment rental
Bring the WHOLE family (2 & 4-legged) to enjoy our condo affectionately known as the "Beach Hizzle".
Bright and roomy beachy decor with all hard wood floors.
The whole building has 4 units. Garages & storage rooms on ground level. Two units on the "1st floor" (above garages) and 2 units on the "2nd floor". Ours is the right side of 1st floor with year round resident owners above us on the 3rd floor.
Coral master bedroom has queen bed, ceiling fan and attached bath with shower.
Kitchen has island with 2 chairs.
Blue corner room has queen bed and ceiling fan.
Yellow room has Pyramid bunk (single upper & double lower) and a single trundle bed.
Trundle is always out since the mattress is too thick to fit under the bunk!
Hall bathroom has tub/shower combo.
Washer & Dryer in hallway.
Large private balcony. I need to update the picture! We have a high top table with 4 tall comfy swivel chairs plus the larger table shown in the picture.
Attached garage parking for 1 car and driveway parking for 1 car.
4 adult cruiser bikes, 1 adult mountain bike, 1 adult tricycle, beach chairs, beach cart & some random beach toys for your use.
Check in is 3:00 PM Check out is 11 AM. We try to be flexible, but it depends on bookings before & after you. Unfortunately we rarely have any play with the check in or out times during peak summer season.

Pet friendly cool house with garage, lawn at the back of the property, and many extras like beach chairs/ umbrella that you can borrow. Fully stocked kitchen. Tons of room to spread out in. Nice deck area. Owner was very quick to answer questions and kindly extended our exit time since she did not have anyone coming in the day we left. Great place to stay if you want direct access to the dog beach. Thanks for a lovely time!

This was our 2nd year at Wildwood but our first year with Beach Hizzle. The place was more than we imagined. We also loved having our dog on vacation with us. This house was close to the beach, dog park, and boardwalk. Plus, parking for 2 cars.

Cleanliness could have been a little better. There was hair on the floor counters needed to be cleaned. And you have little ants, but I guess that could be anywhere. That is just an FYI for you to know about your cleaning people. Not doing their job that we pay for. Other than that is a very pleasant place.

This property was perfect for our needs. For a few days on the beach with the dogs, we couldn’t have asked for better. The house was properly stocked for our beach, cooking, and entertainment needs. A few things were broken or dirty when we arrived but nothing that spoiled our stay. Keeping this place in mind if we visit Wildwood again.

We had a great off season stay. It’s close to the boardwalk and some food options. The place was roomy for four of us and our dog. It’s a few blocks from the beach dog park. The garage and parking were a nice bonus.

Great, roomy, well decorated, well stocked 3 bedroom, 2 bath condo. Everything from a Keurig type of coffee maker to an ice cone maker. Garage for parking and street parking as well. Would absolutely recommend.

We arrived and there was a power outage all across Wildwood which was obviously beyond the owners control. Unfortunately, when the power came back on, the AC broke. Lisa was quick to respond, even at 10pm. She was able to get someone out to fix it that same night! She went above and beyond to make things right. The condo was exactly as described and we were very happy with our stay. They had everything you could need for the beach and we were grateful for the beach cart to haul it all to/from. Absolutely LOVED the porch!! Would definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay. The location of the house couldn’t have been better. I mean not many people can walk out of their house and see the amazing wildwood fireworks. House was perfect for our family. The welcome bag with some of the needed essentials was an extra surprise. We would highly recommend and definitely be back.

So they location is great as far as it is only 2 blocks to the board walk and dog park. It is on a one way street also. (this made it a little tricky to get to at first but not a big deal) A few things could be fixed but we would definitely stay again if we choose to visit wildwood again. One was the main bedroom closet door was not on track,the shower curtain in the main bedroom is to short it comes in on you while you try to shower, we had to vacuum when we got there and there was trash including a tampon under the bunk bed.( all minor things) There is a small yard which is perfect if you travel with your pet. The outside water was not turned on yet so we used some of our water bottles to get sand off before entering the house. ( there is a shower outback which I am sure is great when the water is on) Overall we liked the house and enjoyed our stay.

The condo was just as pictured, clean, and host was very accommodating! We were able to bring our dog and there was a grassy area in back to walk him out to. TV’s in each room and living room and very well equipped with towels, linens, kitchen appliances and necessities.

The location is great; short walk to Boardwalk, dog park and beach. Home was clean and perfectly decorated with beach decor. Rooms are very spacious. The welcome bag was super helpful and thoughtful!

I can’t say enough good things about this property. This was one of the best places we have stayed. It was dog friendly too! Everyone in our family agrees that we would definitely stay here again! We were in walking distance to EVERYTHING! Thanks for making it a vacation to remember!!

Pros:
-Location (close to boardwalk/rides/dog park & great view of Friday night fireworks)
-Layout of apartment and condo (spacious living area and deck, great garage/parking, nice outdoor shower)
-Responsiveness of owner (Lisa kindly responded to our needs quickly as best she could)
-Extras (care package upon arrival, bikes/scooters/beach chairs and toys available for use)
Cons:
-the apartment could do with a handyman's touch (for example, replacement of shower bars and curtains, fixing dryer noise, fixing bathtub stopper so the bathtub is usable) and a really good deep cleaning (but we recognize we rented at the end of the season after many other have used the apartment) - none of these issues would prevent us from renting again
- Noise from upstairs condo - We knew this was the second floor of a 3-floor condo and were prepared for normal noise coming from upstairs. However, our week unfortunately coincided with the upstair's owner hosting a number of adults and 1 toddler, resulting in near-constant noise from upstairs while they were home (which we could hear over the tv), particularly from the toddler being allowed to run back and forth in the apartment for hours on end, sometimes early in the morning and late at night. We gently asked them to try to quiet down (at 10pm) so our kids (3 years and 4 months) could sleep and they responded there was nothing they could do, and the noise continued throughout the week. The owner tried reaching out to the upstairs neighbor and got a similar response. We ended up having to live with the noise and adjust our schedule during our vacation, including when we could sleep. Maybe this happens very infrequently but the bottom line is that the floors/walls are very thin and the upstairs neighbor, in our experience, was less than considerate. If you have kids that need a nap or if you yourself want rest/quiet, this may not be the ideal place during weeks where the upstairs owner has guests. This issue really put a damper on our week but we believe the owner did the best she could, which is why we are giving 4 stars rather than fewer stars.

Excellent Location
The property was very clean and in an excellent location. There are bicycles and a tricycle which we were able to ride on. The bedrooms, kitchen, dining room, living room and balcony are spacious. We also appreciate the care pack which we saw when we arrived. We will definitely come back to rent this unit again.

First Wildwood Weekend
Very convenient place, 2 blocks to the beach. Enjoyed the extra amenities the host provided like the beach chairs, bikes. Instructions to get inside the property ease little confusing but we got in eventually.

Perfect for our family
We had a wonderful experience here. We stayed for a few days for a wedding in the area. The host was super helpful and responsive. The house was in great condition and provided quick and easy access to the beach and boardwalk. We were able to bring our golden retriever, two kids, my parents and my wife. We were all comfortable in the house and had our own space in the bedrooms.
I highly recommend this house for any families looking for a getaway to the beach and want to include their dog.

Very nice place exactly as advertised. it is right down the street from an excellent dog park and a dog beach! (Both are free!). We ate several times very near our location and we walked everywhere - we parked our car and did not take it out of the garage until we left!

Awesome Beach Stay
The property is in overall good condition. We were able to bring our dogs and kids which was very important. It's in a great location to just about everything. Excellent communication with the owner. The only thing we could of ask for is more of a stocked kitchen I love to cook.

All the comforts of home at the beach!!!
This was a much needed vacation for our family. The Beach Hizzle is in a perfect location to MANY walkable restaurants plus the dog beach is just a few blocks away! We are not big boardwalk people but it seemed teeming with people and shops. I made several home-cooked meals and was not lacking for anything. The bonus is that our stay was peaceful and we were surrounded by nice neighbors at every turn. The balcony is refreshing and there is ample room for a bigger family. Would definitely consider a 2nd stay!

Had a wonderful stay at Lisa's property! Lisa a a great host; excellent responsiveness to questions and requests. The condo was spotless and had everything we needed. Beds were comfortable, and the place has all amenities that you would need. Especially appreciate the beach chairs and cart!

Relaxing getaway
This property was beautiful and the neighbors were very friendly and helpful. The access code didn't work when we tried to check in but the owner answered her phone immediately and apologized and gave a code that worked. After that we had no further problems. Will definitely be back!!!!

Enjoyed the Hizzle
Our stay at the Maple Avenue "Hizzle" was enjoyable. The internet connection was sufficient for three of us to be able to engage in a working vacation and it is close to the beach as well as the "dog beach". We had plenty of space to both work and relax and plenty of parking with garage access. Highly recommended.

Needs some TLC
When you stay at a place that accepts dogs you anticipate there may be some issues regarding dogs and how they may have behaved. However at this location the issues were not about dogs but about cleanliness. When you spend thousands of dollars to stay at a place you don’t expect to clean before you can even move in. There was a dirty towel on the wash machine when we arrived. The trash and recycling bins were filled to the top from the previous renter. There was used Chinese restaurant condiments and dirty napkins on the deck floor and the tables on the deck were filthy. Also, for example, I have no clue when the last time was when the sofa cushions were lifted and vacuumed underneath. Many of the dishes were not cleaned adequately Including lipstick on coffee cups. We also found someone’s bathing suit and other clothing, along with dustballs, under one of the beds. In spite of all this we had a good time with our family and friends once we did the cleanup that was required.

Great apartment and location!
The location, house and amenities were all perfect! We fit 2 cars in the garage and 1 in the driveway. The beach was a 5 minute walk. Storage room was perfect and provided everything we needed including bikes, boogie boards and beach toys for the kids. The apartment itself is beautiful and provides an abundant amount of space including its 3 rooms and big living room and balcony. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and definitely would come back another year!

Great Place
Beach Hizzle was perfect for our group. We wanted something close to the beach and boardwalk - check! Took pets - check! Having the dog beach on the same block was an added bonus. The condo was clean. A couple things needs to be repaired but nothing major. A little snafu when we got there with the garage code but was resolved in less than 2 minutes! Would definitely recommend Beach Hizzle!!!

Great Spot to Stay
Place was a great fit for 6 adults, a young toddler and a dog! Very spacious living area with functional kitchen area.
Place was also very conveniently located to beach and boardwalk as both were in reasonable walking distance. Also had good supply of beach items including wagon for lugging beach gear.
Parking was also very ideal as we were able to utilize the garage to park a sedan and had driveway for SUV. We had to use street parking for other SUV but no meter on the street and spots were always open nearby.
Overall a terrific experience!
