About this cabin rental
Beautiful log cabin on 28 secluded acres in the rolling hills of Northwestern PA. This natural oasis includes a stream, plenty of wooded areas and wildlife.
This 1,600 sq. ft. cabin includes 3 large bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, a loft overlooking a great room, a private kids loft with a ladder, free Wi-Fi, a fully equipped kitchen with modern appliances, an outdoor propane grill, a washer and dryer, a fireplace (firewood available for purchase during cool / cold weather), and a wrap-around deck overlooking a picturesque valley with a stream.
The Master bedroom has a queen bed and a walk-in closet connected to a full bathroom, which includes the Jacuzzi tub and a shower. The second bedroom also has a queen bed and a desk. The third bedroom has three twin beds with a ladder leading to the private kids mini loft. A separate spacious loft overlooking the great room can easily sleep two. The loft also has a TV with DVD player and XBox with assorted movies and games (no cable or satellite channels).
If you love nature, there is plenty of wildlife and amazing hiking opportunities that are available for your enjoyment. There are also many nearby attractions. Within a 30 minute drive, you can enjoy Tionesta Lake, Canadohta Lake, Woodcock Lake, Oil Creek and Titusville Railroad, Drake Well Museum, Queen City hiking and biking trail system, and much more. In under an hour drive you can also enjoy all that Erie, PA has to offer, including Presque Isle State Park.
Perfect for couples, families, friends, and anyone else who wants to get away from it all. Please note that at least one guest must be 25 or older. If you have a party larger than eight people, consider having part of your group stay at the Homestead Hearth (VRBO listing ID # 1936460), which is less than a mile away.
The cabin is approximately 1/2 mile off the main road and the access lane to the cabin is a little rugged. We recommend a vehicle with medium to high clearance. During the winter months we engage a plowing service. However, if the area experiences ice or heavy snowfall, the road may become difficult to keep cleared and not well suited for 2WD vehicles. As a result, during the winter months (December - March) we require that guests have an AWD or 4WD vehicle.
We do not charge a cleaning fee. The only additional fees relate to VRBO's service fee and taxes withheld and remitted by VRBO.

I say "little", but there is plenty of space for a comfy stay of even a larger family. Everything was clean, plenty of dishware, overall a place we will keep in mind for future vacations!

It was a great weekend getaway! The cabin is beautiful and the view is amazing. We can’t wait to rebook it next year!

Overall the property (although a little isolated) was very nice. One thing we didn’t think about thought was air conditioning (or the lack of). We utilized quite a few fans to make it tolerable. We understand the logic behind not installing AC though considering the location, etc. Other than that, the place was awesome

Was looking to get away from stresses of life for a few days and this was definitely fit the bill. Stumbled upon the nice secluded cabin and was worth the drive to get there. Enjoyed the quiet peaceful woods as we went hiking, and enjoyed the adventures inside as well. Definitely considering again.

My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary and decided to bring our daughter back for a quiet vacation. It is out in the middle of nowhere, which was exactly what we were looking for. The cabin was perfect for our small family and would honest work for a couple of families with it's cute bunk room for kids. We had a ton of fun hiking around the property and playing games in between hiking at Drake's Well and kayaking at French Creek and the Allegany River! It's remote, so you will have to drive to eat out, but we found great places in Titusville and Franklin nearby, plus the kitchen is nicely stocked for cooking. Highly recommend if you like quiet vacations.

Perfect spot to get away from it all! Celebrated a a milestone birthday with friends. Beautiful cabin in a perfect, private location. Going to book again in the fall and winter. Can’t wait to go back!
Thanks for the memories!

This was our second time staying here, and we’ve already booked for our third!! The host is extremely kind and helpful, and the beautiful property is secluded and one of a kind!

This place is just breathtaking. It has everything you need for a perfect stay. It rained most of the time we was here but we was ok with that the rain went away for enough time for us to explore the waterfalls down over the hill from the cabin. And the morning we woke to leave it was covered in snow and let me tell you it was so pretty. It made our honeymoon so memorable and we can’t wait to go back. Loved everything about this place.

We came for the peaceful woods and cabin and we were not disappointed! The cabin is a treasure and a privilege to experience. It is also well stocked with fun games and movies to keep teens happy. Over all a great space for a quality family gathering!

Every single thing described in the listing was precisely what we found, with one exception. We did not have WiFi available to us (which actually made the weekend even better).

We have stayed here several times. And never disappoints. It’s the coziest place she ever stay. And it was built from love from a wonderful family. It’s the perfect size and has all the amenities in the cabin.. You will need. We will continue renting this for as long as the family stays on VRBO! We have made so many memories here and will continue to do so. Thank you the Bossard family.

Our family of five, including our teens loved this cabin! The hikes at Oil Creek State Park made for a fun outing and the short drive to a ski area made the location ideal for all of the things our outdoorsy family likes to do. I hope we can find a reason to come back again. Thanks for the great hospitality !

This secluded house was just what we needed. It’s a beautiful house and was the perfect place to relax and enjoy some quiet time. Plenty of room inside and out. We enjoyed having a private road and woods to walk our dogs. We thought we would miss having a TV but it was actually nice to be disconnected for a few days. We would definitely love to come back again!

Us five sisters try to get together every year. I feel so fortunate to have found this place as we were visiting family in Espyville.
Only 1/2 mile off of the main road, you feel you are in a different world. The darkness is awesome.
The house is great and the beds are comfy.

This was our second stay at Peaceful Pines, and it never disappoints! Perfect, peaceful setting with beautiful views and woods for the kids to explore. My daughter found 12 salamanders! Amazing cabin and surrounding property. The calmness of this cabin is absolutely breathtaking. Description is 100 accurate. Grocery stores are within 20 min drive. Our fur babies loved running around and just laying on the deck watching the 100's of fireflies at night. Definitely will return
