About this house rental
Located just three houses from the beach, this charming cottage has white water ocean views from the front deck and living room. Clean and fresh, this cottage is perfect for your family vacation. The beach is just steps away, so your kids can run home for lunch. The bathroom has been updated and there is an outdoor shower for sandy kids. This home has a maximum capacity of 6 people at any given time. Gas Grill. Pets Considered. Renters bringing pets: Additional pet fee for each pet: $25/night capping out at $150 per week for longer stays, $50 extra cleaning fee. Bed Configuration: 2 Queens, 2 Twin Bunks

We had a great time in a great location. Grilling on the front deck was a highlight. More information about what is available in the kitchen would be helpful. The dishwasher didn't get our dishes clean, but other than that a wonderful experience and would happily stay here again!

The beach and location were incredible. The house was charming and quirky but not well kept. The kitchen sink/disposal was clogged upon arrival and we could not use it or the dishwasher for several days until fixed. The backyard had numerous large dog poops that had not been picked up from the previous stay. The batteries in the remote were out of power etc... property one management was helpful and communicative. However they said they would ask for a discount for me given the stress we endured during our stay and I have not heard back regarding this deserved discount. We would definitely visit stinson again but likely not stay in this house unfortunately. We have stayed in several other houses out here without these kind of maintenance issues. With better maintenance, this house could be functional enough for a relaxing get away.

This home is walking distance to town and steps from the beach. We enjoyed the front deck on the windy days as it was sunny and has an ocean view but without the beachfront wind. The beds were fine. The house is a rental and well used. Know it could use a deep clean but that may not take care of the houses condition because it’s in the sand and well loved. As others have said the couches are uncomfortable but leather doesn’t hold sand. Great food at Parkside. Ok food at Beachcombers. Close drive to hiking and great beach walks.

We had a lovely week in this beach house. The location is AMAZING - directly adjacent to the beach with ocean views from the spacious large deck. Another amenity not picture in the photos is a beautiful dining patio in the backyard. The kitchen is very well-stocked, and the house is very comfortable. It's too bad it is limited to 6 occupants because it seems designed to sleep 8 and would fit 2 families.

The location is perfect- you are steps to the beach and can also walk to town and grab take out etc... House is set up well for young kids. E.g., kids sleep in the bunk room at the back of the house while the adults watch the stars from the deck or a movie at the front of the house. Very quiet and peaceful at night. Outdoor shower is private and great for keeping the sand out of the house. There are no beach toys or chairs provided with the house, so bring your own (which we always do regardless). Inside of house is well equipped: board games, plenty of towels and sheets, kitchen accoutrements etc... Neighbors are very friendly.

It was nice to be so close to the beach however the house is in need of a serious up date and thorough cleaning. The bed were hard, the sheets and towels were rough and old. Everything in the kitchen was greasy to the touch. The bathroom had mold in the shower and needed caulking and cleaning. The brown sofa in the living room was well worn with holes. The whites leather coffee table in the living room was stained and well worn. There was no pad under the living room rug and it slipped curled up. The view from the front deck was nice but I did have to look over neighbors frolicking in their hot tub and taking outdoor showers. I have rented before in Stinson and this is the first place in such bad condition.

Very cute house 2 doors down from the beach. You can see the entire beach from the deck. It had everything we needed, including towels and bath products. They had a dishwasher and washer/dryer. The bunkbed rooms fit a family of 4-- 2 adults on the lower bunkbeds and 2 kids on the top. Unsure if 2 adults can fit together on one bottom bunk-- maybe if they're really small. One parking spot under the deck and another car can block you in if you need another spot. They had a little backyard area with a patio set but we didn't go back there since the front deck was so beautiful.

Clean and perfect!
Had a family getaway weekend and LOVED this beach house. Literally 25 feet from beach, beach view from front deck, big brand new deck in backyard with new landscaping in back too. Big living room with space for everyone. 3 bedrooms, new bathroom, kitchen fully equipped. Beach volleyball net already up, so bring a few balls! Walk to to town in 5 minutes, great hiking trails 10 min walk. Perfect for families or romantic getaway. Definitely will be back!!

A little bit of heaven!
We loved our week stay at the Cottage by the Sea! it was the perfect spot for our family getaway. Excellent location with a comfortable deck to sit overlooking the beach and watch the sunrise and sunset. The cottage had everything we needed or wanted. It was clean bright and very comfortable...This place definitely met our expectations! The house fits 6 comfortably (two in each bedroom). The bathroom is nicely renovated, and there was definitely enough room in the house for 6 adults and not feel crowded. The kitchen was well stocked, plenty of towels, and they even provided shampoo/conditioner in the bathroom (an often overlooked perk). DirectTV and Netflix is available, and the beds were super soft with an extra inch or two of padding. Place was clean and well kept! You can tell the owners take pride in the place. We will definitely return to this very comfortable, clean and relaxing cottage by the sea... House is some twenty steps to the beach. We took daily walks up and down the beach. Take your bikes, you can ride on the beach...Overall, great location to be away from the hustle and bustle, but close enough to everywhere else.

Wonderful House, Fantastic Location!
Our family had the most fantastic stay at this wonderful house in July last year. Situated in a friendly neighborhood (lots of hellos & good mornings!) you are only steps from the beach!! To be able to wake up, step outside and take breakfast out on the fantastic deck whilst looking at the sea, is pure heaven! The house exceeded all of our hopes and expectations making it an overall excellent experience.
The home is well maintained and it is apparent that the owners have great taste and know what makes a beach house perfect for visitors. The interior is fab, tasteful beach décor with cute and charming beach accents dotted throughout. The ambiance provides a spirit of hospitality with quality comforts which makes it cozy and warm; and ultimately relaxing! It was a real wrench to have to leave!!
The beds are VERY comfortable with striking bed linens. The kids commented on how comfortable and fun the bunks were too. The kitchen is well-equipped with all the appliances you need. Lovely bathroom. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and tidy. I have to say for me one of the best features of this property (and theres many!) is the outside shower – GENIUS!
Stinson is such a beautiful place to stay with a stunning beach that stretches for miles, breathtaking scenery surrounding it, and it has the most spectacular sunrises and sunsets (not to be missed!!). I would HIGHLY recommend this perfectly situated house and hope to stay here again VERY soon."
