About this apartment rental

We hope all of our guests can enjoy a very memorable stay in our recently updated Condo! Stainless steel appliances, Corian cookware, granite counter tops throughout, full size washer and dryer, tile flooring in all living and BR areas, large walk in glass shower, and space evoking large full wall mirrors all combine to create a very clean, spacious, convenient and attractive environment! We have enjoyed preparing our Condo to exceed one's expectations when renting this property.

From hand sewn living room darkening curtains, owner made window treatments, pillows, bed throws, welcome baskets, to guest towels folded into animal shapes, generous baskets in each bathroom freshly stocked with facial, body and hair cleaning products in addition to simple first aide items in the guest bathroom, we have made every effort possible to provide a very personable welcome and stay to all of our guests!

Both bedrooms have very large walk in closets, large dressers, night stands and reading lights and state of the art TVs with video. The master bathroom which is attached to the bedroom has a very large walk in glass shower. As of 12/1/2016 the master bedroom now has top of the line Sterns and Foster adjustable King bed!! Just a touch of the button to adjust your head and knee height! The second full bathroom is directly across from the second bedroom and has a sparkling clean full bath tub with shower. Wooden blinds and pleated room darkening shades in both rooms help provide a peaceful night's sleep!

We also have a brand new queen memory foam sleeper sofa, and a single sleeper chair, to allow plenty of options for 7 adult sleepers! The room darkening curtains allow for an environment conducive to a great night's sleep!

High end adjustable King size bed and a plush Queen mattress bed with luxury cooling sheets and plush towels, hypoallergenic downed pillows, room darkening pleated shades, ceiling fans and optional plug in fragrances are a sure guaranty to a wonderful night's sleep! Each room also boasts HD brand new flat screen TVs (32" Magnavox with DVD and a 36" Samsung), with 100 complimentary HD channels via XFinity/Comcast.

Free wifi is available throughout the unit, and guests can relax on our very comfortable living room furniture (including queen sleeper sofa) while taking in the beautiful gulf views or enjoying entertainment from the living room 46" Sony HD TV with DVD player.

Our pantry remains stocked with an array of spices, cooking oils, flour, sugar and often times, fresh bags of cookies or chips. Guests can also enjoy complimentary coffee, flavors and creams and individually wrapped biscotti to boot!! Paper towels, toilet paper and other kitchen food disposable storage wraps/bags are always provided.

Pool towels, beach mats and boogie boards are also available for our guests and are stored in the master bedroom closet. Guests can enjoy beautiful sunrises, sunsets and moonlit ocean views from the balcony while utilizing the four bar height chairs and bistro table. Even the little ones can join in with the four preschool size patio chairs.

The Dawn has a full fitness work out room, strategically located for a fully unobstructed view of the gulf! Two beautiful pools and two hot tubs are also available for all guests to enjoy! A charcoal grill and picnic table are also located adjacent to each pool. MOST IMPORTANTLY, and with huge thanks to The Galveston Parks and Recreation committee, we now have a beautiful 200 meter wide soft sandy beach directly across from The Dawn! The time to walk from our condo to the beach is literally 4 minutes!!

We love coming down to Galveston and hope our condo will help provide a wonderful and memorable vacation for you as well!!

We loved our stay at Eileen's property. Everything was as described. The condo was large with lots of space for our family. Having laundry facilities in the unit was great as well. The location was highly convenient for getting two kids to and from the beach. Pools were really nice. We even had a chance to enjoy the partial ocean view from the deck! Would love to stay here again if in Galveston. Host was very responsive to any questions.

It was very nice to stay at this condo. It was easy to find, within walking distance from the beaches, clean, and pleasant. We ask that you update the check-in procedures listed online once the confirmations are set. As per the email, the codes for all access points were not accurate. It is frustrating to get to your destination after a long drive, and nothing seems to work. After a few attempts, the owners eventually called back to render a solution. Thank you! The stay started awkwardly but ended nicely. The condo management team is very friendly and helpful.

Four adults and two children fit perfectly in this beautifully decorated, pool-view condo. The MANY thoughtful amenities had us feeling like we were at home. We will not think twice when it's time to return to Galveston... we'll book here and you should, too!

Property was easy to access and the owner was very quick to respond to questions. They had all the home necessities you needed like paper products and trash bags, laundry goods, kitchen stuff. The view was perfect not too close to the road, an ocean AND pool view. Quick access to the ocean and Walmart. They had plenty of pillows blankets towels for the beach and for the bathroom. It was literally the best stocked condo. Plenty of space with the gold pit couch and large fold out sleep chair. We definitely want to book again for next summer!

This condo was perfect for our family. Super friendly and helpful hosts. The access to the beach and pool was perfect and so convenient. Carpet could use a refresh and I would personally like firmer pillows, but that was the only thing I could say could be improved. It was clean roomy and I loved the shower in the master bedroom. Being able to see the pool and the beach at the same time was great. We would definitely stay again next time we are in Galveston.

My family and I stayed at this condo for 7 days and had an amazing time. The owner was extremely responsive and the condo was clean and spotless when we arrived. The property is very close to the beach and made it easy hauling a family back and forth each day. We will definitely stay here again next year!

Loved our stay! Lots of other kids around the condos for our kids to play with at the pool that was just steps away. The beach was just a short walk across the street, the condo was comfortable and we liked that it was in a gated kindof community. Kids are already asking to go back.

This is our third trip to The Dawn for dance competition and we had a great stay. Plenty of beds and pullouts for everyone to sleep, all appliances worked great and we had no issues getting into the condo, etc. Would definitely stay here again.

It was very enjoyable. Our hosts were lovely. I guess my only complaint would be the cabinets in the kitchen and bathroom. They’re kind of falling apart. Other than that, it was great.

Nice location. Place was clean and we had everything we needed. Just didn't care too much for the heavy scent of the sheets and towels. It gave us a headache, so we bought unscented detergent and washed them but it was still smelling strong. Overall, the place worked out for us.

We had an amazing stay - The condo was updated, clean and spacious. Our hosts checked in during our stay to make sure all was well and we had everything we needed. And just a quick walk across the street to the beach - there were also two pools to pick from to float around in after the beach! Would definitely recommend!!

We had a wonderful time like always. We love renting at the Dawns for the past 5 yrs so quit and clean but we really loved where we stayed this wknd. We were able to see the pool and the beach. The place was clean and cozy. The owners responded quickly to our messages. We will definitely rent at the same place as long as that unit is available.

When we arrived, place hadn’t been cleaned, owner deeply apologetic. Cleaners somehow skipped it. Cleaned it ourselves, top to bottom. Owner refunded the cleaning fee and bought us dinner. That was very nice! The rest of our stay was amazing! Views, beach across the street. Nice restaurants, shopping. Ahhhh the beach!!! So beautiful!

This is the second time we stayed at The Dawn but first time in this unit. The Dawn property is well maintained and the owners of this unit keep up with high standards. Great view of the gulf and pool from the balcony and easy short walk to the Seawall. We enjoyed our stay.

We were driving into town for UTMB's graduation and decided to have a little mini-vacation while we were there. The property was perfect! Great location! Easy drive to all of Galveston's attractions. The owners were very friendly and we'll definitely be looking at this property again when we return to the island!

We loved this place so much, we were sad to leave it. The two pools were both amazing. The beach was literally across the street and was always fun! Our host was there if we had any questions at all. The house had everything you could need and more. When we come back we will definitely book here again! We loved it and so did our kids.

Stayed here with my husband, and boys13 and 10 for 3 nights in July. Everything worked as it should, had no issues at all. Place was very clean, beds were comfortable, nicely decorated. Pool and grounds were very nice. Very short walk across the road to the beach. Would definitely recommend and stay if ever in the area again.

I’ve stayed at The Dawn condos 3 times now while visiting Galveston and family in Texas. Love the condos , pools and beach access. This condo unit was overall good, needs minor maintenance, everything I touched fell down or came off such as bathroom cabinet door, shower rod, blind rods in bathroom and main bedroom, face on the fridge over ice maker and ice maker kept failing on ice and had to buy our own ice. Nothing interfered with our stay though. Great visit overall!

We loved staying here. It was close to the convention center and a Kroger grocery store. And having the beach right across the street was great. My kids loved the pools too. The condo is very clean and had everything we needed.

We're frequent visitors to Galveston. This location was great for running into the main part of town and it's right across from the beach. The condo was exactly as described very comfortable very easy to communicate with the owner we didn't have any issues during our stay and I would highly recommend renting from this owner to anyone who wants a nice relaxing and quiet location in town for a beach getaway.
