My family and another family stayed at the house for 5 nights. Each family had 3 kids, ages ranging from 5 to 18. The house was absolutely perfect. Spacious, clean, organized, and stocked. The best part is we could ski in and ski out. The host did a great job of communicating all the important details to us and was always available to answer questions. We would love to stay again!

This is our 2nd year renting, our first year 2021 was great.
Something changed this year 2022, not nearly as nice, game room on lower level locked, never heard why (advertised on site and available in 2021) only that it would remain locked. Fireplace couldn't be used. Wet laundry upon our arrival. broken lamp in bedroom and more minor issues.

Great ski in ski out for all ages
We had a fantastic stay in Big Sky. The location of our rental was amazing. The ability for our large group to ski-in and ski-out on different schedules allowed for maximum flexibility and enjoyment. The property was beautiful, clean and spacious. We highly recommend.

This house was perfect for two families. We had plenty of room for us all to spread out. The location was perfect to ski in and out. The property manager was responsive when we had a couple of questions. The best part was the beautiful mountain and the 3 ft of snow throughout the week. We are already planning next year.

The house was not clean when we got there. We had to clean the bathroom on the main floor and wash the sheets because the sheets and pillowcases wreaked of cigarette smoke. All dishes were dirty: plates, utensils, silverware, and cups. We had to clean all dishes before using. There were food crumbs in the kitchen drawers. The grill on the deck also had dirty utensils stored inside. We were still charged the cleaning fee.
Also, the dryer was not working, and during COVID, a repairman showed up WITHOUT NOTICE. This was alarming and concerning after our group has been quarantining together. We did not appreciate this exposure, especially without any notice. When the property manager was contacted, they said they would check into it, contact the owner, and get back to us with a resolution (as we didn’t want another cleaning person in the house while we were staying there). However, after multiple messages, there has been no response and no resolution.
Next year when we visit, we will not book with this property management company.

We enjoyed the home thoroughly!
We were disappointed that the deck was under construction and never really figured out the whole trash/recycle thing but would still do it again in a heartbeat!

Amazing high-end property with great views of Lone Mountain and ski in/out ability.
We brought three families (6 adults, 5 teenagers) to stay for 5 days and everyone was blown away. You guys thought of everything! Current picture needs to be updated to include 70 inch flat screen above the wood burning fireplace. All 11 Steeler fans cheered against Brady to no avail in the AFC championship game! Unfortunately, we will not be able to root against the Patriots in Big Sky for the Super Bowl! Thank you for sharing your wonderful home!

Beautiful home. Well maintained and managed. Also well equipped with supplies.
This property is spacious, clean, well maintained and managed. Perfect amount of space for families to share and maintain some privacy. Lower level perfect for as many as 6 kids with 2 sets of bunks, each with double bed below and single on top. In addition, pull out sleep sofa in adjacent room. Full bath and lots of closet space.
Games, game table, foosball , hot tub.
The other 4 bedrooms each have comfortable king size beds, lots of extra pillows and blankets if needed. All linen supplies smelled fresh. The house was very well supplied with paper products, laundry detergent, dishwasher detergent, body wash, shampoo, conditioner , and body lotion.
Also great selection of glassware, dishes, cookware and utensils.
Management company easy to reach with questions.

Beautiful home in the mountains
We had a wonderful time. The house was more than large enough to accomodate our family. Location was quiet, less than a mile from the Big Sky Lodge. The house itself was gorgeous. We own a few vacation homes back east ourselves, and I've always felt that our homes were well appointed - until I arrived here. Kitchen has all you would possibly need and more for appliances as well as cookware, etc. Bedrooms and bathrooms are large and top of the line workmanship. Hot tub, fireplace, fire pit, and multitude of other unexpected plusses. I could go on and on, but it was a fantastic home

Very big and beautiful, had every aminity you could possibly ask for!
We had 2 family's, plenty of room, made some great memories 💕

More beautiful than the pictures!
They had everything we could have needed. If there was anything you somehow didn't have, shopping wasn't far. The Big Sky staff was amazing and friendly. A beautiful cabin in a wonderful location. Close to many scenic hikes, shopping and dining. The Wednesday night local market in town was fantastic. Lovely kitchen, bathrooms and comfy beds!! Enjoyed the fire pit, hot tub and game table too. Would definately recommend.

Fantastic place, top-notch vacation!!
My husband and I brought our children and grandchildren for a week in Big Sky. We had a wonderful time!!! Oglala 10 was the perfect place for the 8 adults and 5 children. The house is laid out to provide room for a family to spend time together or in groups. Our grandchildren thoroughly enjoyed the lower level bedroom/game area. They had a blast playing the games provided. The bunk room was perfect for them. Everyone enjoyed the spa. The kitchen was amazing with everything one could want. The entire house is immaculate, well stocked and well appointed. We had the time of our lives!!!

Beautiful Mountain Home
8 active retirees stayed here to enjoy a few days of hiking, biking and wine tasting at the Vine and Dine event. We enjoyed all the house had to offer. We used the spa tub (excellent), BBQ grill, gas fire pit while we watched the meteor showers, and practically lived in the comfy robes. The only thing we didn't use was the TV. We were just too busy with activities and then relaxing and eating those great caramels!

Cooling off
We met several couples and single friends for a reunion and it couldn't have been better. 4 bedrooms, and the bunk type room was perfect. The house is well appointed and we didn't want to leave to do anything else. Lots of time around the fire pit and some star gazing. This provided a much needed respite from the TX heat.

Great Mountain Home!
House was great. King on main floor, great view, hot tub for the kids, real fireplace. seamless check in and check out. Loved the caramels. Tricky but managable getting into and out of the cabin but snow pack was low and would have been much easier earlier in the year or in a better snow year. Great family vacation!

Avid skiers
Everything was fantastic, top to bottom: house-great rooms, furnishings, kitchen, fireplace, deck, BBQ, ski in and out access. Perfect for guys trip or 2 families with adult children. Best of all was the BookBigSky service. Kirsten and her team are superb. Been skiing out west for 25+ years. Book Big Sky deserves platinum 5 star*****service award.

Big Family Christmas Vacation
Best place I have ever stayed! We had a group of 15, ranging in ages from 6 to 71. The cabin was rustic and beautifully decorated. Plenty of room for everyone to have their own space, plus an open floor plan big enough for everyone to be together. Amazing fireplace and plenty of wood. The beds and bedding were great and comfortable. The kitchen had everything you would need for cooking and feeding a big crew. Plenty of glassware, silverware, plus top of the line appliances. We had snow everyday the the roads were kept clear and the deck and walkway was always shoveled early in the morning. I would recommend for anyone. Great vacation!

Summer trip to the parks
An excellent stay in Big Sky. The cabin is beautiful and rustic. There were 11 of us and we did not feel cramped at all. The amenities were superb. The home was clean and well stocked. Big Sky Rentals was very responsive to our questions and concerns. Sarah was particularly nice and even managed to order those wonderful caramel candies for us!! A final example of how thoughtful and caring they were: my daughter left her teddy bear after we checked out and without us even asking they offered to ship it to our home! Overall, a great experience and I would not hesitate to rent from them again.

Dussy and Friends
We have been enjoying an annual ski trip for over twenty years now and found this location to be one of the very best. It exceeded our expectations in every way. The pictures do not do it justice. The management team is extremely organized and attentive to detail. This one is a winner and I would not delay in making advance reservations. It is new and will become very popular.

Big group annual ski trip
14 of us from all over the country just completed our annual ski trip to Big Sky. We decided on Powder Ridge this year and was well pleased. The house was spacious enough for the amount of people we had and all the furnishings were top notch considering the house was basically brand new. The kitchen is very important to our group and had everything we needed to cook breakfast every morning and fully prepared dinners each night for 6 nights worth of stay. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms spacious and very very clean. We were able to pump music, via bluetooth, through the soundbar every night while we played cards, games, and generally entertained ourselves. The ski in/out access was easier for skiers than snowboarders as there were a few flats. I would still consider it a true ski in ski out place as long as snow is on the roads. The staff we met as we checked in were very friendly and seemed willing to accommodate us with anything we needed (the house was pretty much all we hoped for, so we didn't need much.) They have a complimentary shuttle for you to use that is only a phone call away if needed. We had to call the shuttle one time during our stay and the guy was right on time.
My only complaints of the house are a bit minor. I feel as if the common area and kitchen on the main floor could have had a half bath some where. There is one bathroom on the main floor and it is already being shared by 2 bedrooms. So it would have been nice to have a half bath somewhere on that floor. Just something to think about as a large group, even though we got along fine. Also, even though the showers were awesome in the house the hot water heater was not. It seemed as if 3 people could take hot showers but you get to person number 4 and the showers turned cold. I don't know if the hot water tank was just not large enough for the size of house and people staying or if the hot water heather needed to be turned up. Either way, it was always a race to see who got first showers. Lastly, the fire place seemed to smoke up the house pretty bad at times. We built fires early in the week and stopped towards the end as the draft was pushing smoke into the the living room in random spurts (damper was wide open).
All the pros definitely outweighed the cons though as we had another great year on the slopes with the help of the house and the people at Big Sky vacation rentals. This is our second year using them and hope to again next year.

Spectacular New Powder Ridge Cabin!
The cabin is fantastic. It is exactly as shown in the pictures. The kitchen is very well equipped, even for Big Sky Vacation Rental standards (which are high). We were the first renters, so it was obviously clean and well-maintained.
Ski in/out is easiest on the street. Our 7 and 10 year old kids were able to do it without a problem. They would ski down on their own in the morning and we would meet them at the base of White Otter.
Kirsten of Big Sky Vacation Rentals does an excellent job of matching her clients with the appropriate property. She or one of her staff members will also help you with any aspect of your vacation.
We would not hesitate to rent this cabin or work with Big Sky Vacation Rentals again.
