I LOVED the location. I could just step outside the room and take a few steps and have the most amazing view/be lounging right by the water. It felt very private too, i didn’t encounter too many other guests while i was there and it was quiet. Also appreciated that the room had a full closet and a jacuzzi jet tub - that was so nice. The bed was comfy and it was clean. My only issue was that the floor was entirely carpeted even in the bathroom - I’m pretty turned off by old carpet so i didn’t want to set any of my belongings down on the floor and i felt the need to wear shoes pretty much all the time which made it slightly less comfortable. Also i was traveling there by myself and the only door to the room was the sliding door which also was the only window. Luckily it cooled down and they gave me an extra fan but the first day i was there it was so hot and there’s no AC so i was struggling with the fact that id have to leave the door open to get a breeze. I wasn’t going to leave the door open overnight for safety concerns - they assured me it was safe and it was but i don’t leave doors open while i sleep especially as a woman traveling by myself so that was an obstacle. UltimatelyIt was fine once the weather cooled down but upgrading to hard floors and having a small ac unit would just make it that much more comfortable. Otherwise i loved it, it was cozy and perfect for one person!

Traveled from Southern California to Lake Tahoe for our son’s 40th bday celebration. The location to their VRBO was super close as well as a small beach (walking distance). The room met all of our needs for the brief time we spent in it. It was clean and had a comfy bed/pillows, and the room had a private porch with peek-a-boo lake view.

Very small property with only a few rooms. The lake is right behind the building so the view is beautiful. We were upgraded to a larger room. The host is very kind and easy to communicate with. My husband and I came to Lake Tahoe to celebrate our anniversary. When I booked the room I didn’t realize how massive the lake was. A lot of stuff we wanted to do was in South Lake Tahoe. We drove to the other side
a few times during our stay and it’s roughly 45 mins each way. The views on the drive though are beautiful. The room was very spacious for the 2 of us, the bed was comfortable, we loved the mirror and lights behind the bed. Little dated but still perfect. The shower was very interesting but I loved how spacious it was…Would stay again, just keep in mind the distance you have to drive if you want to explore all of Tahoe.

Was not expecting carpet in the bathroom. Had a great time in the jacuzzi tub during a storm. Good parking that was plowed when I needed it.Grateful for the coffee maker and mini fridge. Bed was comfortable

Great spot and very comfortable accommodations. Only issue is how slick the concrete outside the door gets with even a dusting of snow. I took a HUGE spill walking to the door with my bags; suggest that property management puts salt down in addition to shoveling.

My daughter and stayed here and had a blast. It was all we needed. We spent most of our time out at the beach and on the water. The room was clean and the management was friendly and helpful, she took the time to welcome us and orient us to the area. There is a beautiful sand beach below, not to mention a spectacular view of the lake. Boat rentals downstairs and access to kayak/standup paddle boards which can be delivered. We will be back in the future. Very special trip. Thank you Tahoe Vista!

Description of the room is very true. Room is small but ok if you’re just looking for a quiet, relaxing place after a day of being out and about exploring Lake Tahoe. Checking in and out was a breeze. Never had any issues during our 5 days stay.

Was very nice to stay here, very beautiful area, although i suspect it is more for a summer stay. The staff were nice and the room was well kept. Some issues were: 1. The bathroom is entirely carpeted, even under the toilet which is no good. 2. The Jacuzzi didn't work.

Stayed for 3 nights. Sheri and Kristi are very gracious hosts and very accommodating. The room was clean and nice. There is a small refrigerator in the room. The tub is the bathroom is a Jacuzzi but so it is great for a hot soothing soak after a day of hiking. There is also a great outdoor sitting area with umbrella and chaise lounge and chairs just outside the sliding doors and you have a peek-a-boo view of the lake from there. There is no air conditioning but there is a electric fan available. There is no control for the heat in the room; it is in the office next door. The parking lot is shared with the valet parking for adjacent Boat House Restaurant. There are units above the room. It can be a bit noisy if you happen to have other guests with heavy footsteps above you. Overall, I was satisfied with the hotel room. My travelling companion was disappointed by lack of A/C and the noise from the people above us.

My older sister and I planned this trip less than a month in advance. We had the best time and definitely will make it back soon! Tahoe Vista Inn was perfect for us! We stayed in their single room (#8) and it was just like a hotel room! Their other rentals are much bigger and have kitchens in them. The place is right on the water and was easy access to the beach.

We had the smallest room there and I knew that and all was fine but had hoped the place came with some amenities (hot tub jacuzzi didn't work). There was no bar or restaurant open yet on site but plenty of other choices. Owners let us in for weekend a few hours early and after an early morning and long flight it was appreciated.

Place and room was great location and I liked the fact that it was pretty private and you could keep the sliding door open and just have the screen door to let in the lake breeze. I liked sitting on the patio to read and relax without people walking by or invading your space. Limitation was access to shower-tub. Very high side to get over and into tub and partner with physical limitation had trouble getting in and out of shower.
