An absolute awesome stay. All the amenities needed were there. Plenty of towels. Well stocked kitchen. Convenient location. Ty was very responsive whenever we had a question. Saw wild pigs every evening as well as the chickens every morning.

Beautiful views, great location. Winter was great with rainstorms and Wild life. comfortable firm mattresses, living furniture is comfortable for 4, we used some outdoor chairs and pillows to lay on the floor to watch tv for 6 adults. Not a party house but a beautiful stay. Bring your big spray you’ll want to hang on the deck/porch/ lanai and maybe bring a fan outside.

Ideal for our family vacation! Gorgeous panoramic views, lush vegetation and you can hear the waves crashing while you nap on the lanai. Delightful goats, pigs (and piglets!) and egrets frequent the garden. Beautiful morning birdsong. Plenty of indoor/outdoor common areas to for relaxing together and each bedroom is spacious when you want privacy. Very short walk to our favorite beach. Walk to Foodland, snorkeling, bike path, food trucks, etc. Kitchen is fully equipped. We never needed AC. The outdoor hot water shower was a hit! Paul’s home is unfussy, comfortable and relaxing. We had the best time!

This is the perfect escape from the ordinary. Set back away from the crowd, but a 3-munute walk to the beach, there is plenty of privacy, without sacrificing convenience. Paul is a fantastic host, and went over and above to make our stay comfortable.

I can't overstate how great of a rental Paul's house is. Our family of 5 found the property idyllic. A great room opens to both the kitchen, and the expansive covered lanai through triple acordian door that completely opens the inside to the exterior, immersing you in the expansive expansive views and vast sense of lush forest, and dazzling sunsets, from wherever you are. The kitchen has a gas range, real cookware and dishes, sharp knives, an espresso machine, and great grill. It is mean to live in and cook when you want. The furniture and touches are thoughtful, warm, and of quality. There are ample places to sit and take in the view. The outdoor shower rocks. Within minutes, walking, are the best beaches on the North Shore, groceries, and food trucks. Paul is warm, hospitable, and clearly cares for his guests' experience. The photos cannot possible tell the whole story of just how special this place is. Cheers to anyone who scores this place.

Pretty perfect
Paul’s place is phenomenal. We loved our stay. Paul is an excellent host. We took daily short walks to the lovely beach. The place comes with an assortment of bikes that allow for quick trips to the grocery and to the many local food trucks. We had a great time. Thanks Paul!

very pleasant stay
Wonderful views from a charming porch, very helpful manager/owner, very easy house and access to all the great beaches. Best for a small group as there is only one bathroom.

Great Home With A Great View
Paul was a great host. We loved the home, nice and airy with great breezes. Nothing like a relaxing morning coffee on the lanai with the roosters and birds providing a natural sound track. The outside shower is hands down one of the best showers I have ever been in. Thanks again for a great stay.

2019 Christmas Vacation
This property was perfect for our Christmas Family vacation. The house and the location were awesome. Beach and great food a walk away. Great sites and experiences within 15-20 min drive. Paul was a great property manager, always checking in to make sure things were OK and if we needed anything. Couldn't have asked for a better stay!

Paradise
The lanai was absolutely magical and cannot gush enough about it! This place was a short walk to an incredible beach and had plenty of towels and a couple beach chairs as well - perfect! We didn’t use the bikes but was an awesome option given the sometimes slow traffic along the north shore. The outdoor shower was lovely and the beds were very comfy. No ac but the trade winds plus fans kept us very comfortable. Kitchen isn’t spectacular for cooking but has plenty of pots and pans, great appliances, and we were easily able to make do (plus trade winds from the giant screened windows - delightful!). Thanks, Paul, for a wonderful and relaxing stay - it was exactly what we were hoping for!

Fabulous!
My family of five really enjoyed our stay in this house. Paul was very kind and thoughtful. The house was beautiful, well equiped and exactly as described. The view is simply incredible, not to mention the rainbows and the minblowing sunsets. The beach is closeby (5 min walk) and a supermarket is located half a mile from the house. We would certainly rent this house again if we go back to Oahu.

Very comfortable, private and close to beach.
We loved our stay at Paul’s. This was our first trip to Oahu and stayed a week. Great home base and the North Shore is amazing. We were very comfortable and the place had everything we needed. At the end of a road and very private. Saw whales from the lanai. Ke Iki Beach is beautiful and a short walk down the hill. The waves are huge and it was fun watching the surfers. Foodland is close by and has a good selection of take-out food, great people watching too. There was a bit of traffic getting to Haleiwa and back, but it kept moving. We took surf lessons in Haleiwa and that was a lot of fun. Paul was was very helpful and attentive. You can tell he takes good care of the place. Would stay again.

Beach Country Perfection
The house was amazing. Two blocks from one of the best beaches on the NS. Kids must be aware there are wild pigs around the property, that took us by surprise but you are in beach country so what did we expect. Very specific check in and check out details. We travels with our two year old and 3 month old and each one of us took advantage of napping on the lanai. Can't wait to visit again

Amazing Place!
We had such a great time! Just a short walk to the most private, beautiful sandy beach that we saw on the North Shore. The home has such a nice porch to relax on and enjoy the view. We loved the privacy - you cannot see or hear any neighbours around you.
Everything was perfect!

Me and my family had a great week at Paul's place. It is located across from the beach and has all the amenities you need for a good week!

Relaxing and comfortable
We stayed in the cottage for 4 nights in December, and we really enjoyed our stay. The cottage has wonderful light and yet remains cool and breezy due to the screened windows on every side. We loved hanging out on the front porch, which is nicely shaded by the overhang and offers views of the ocean just a block or so down the hill. Furnishings are high quality, with comfortable beds, and everything in good working order (e.g., washer and dryer, ceiling fans, dishwasher, etc.). We slept with windows open and enjoyed hearing the distant surf, night rain, and birds, although the crowing roosters were occasionally annoying. The location is on a side road off the main highway within an easy walk of Foodland. The nearby beach is great for walking and watching sunsets, with big winter surf. We used our car for trips to Haleiwa and to the protected beach at Turtle Bay.

Badass!
This is the best part of the island for a vacation. If you wanna disconnect and have food trucks and beaches within a few minutes walk...stay here. The place was incredible. Had everything we needed except a microwave. No AC but the trade winds and house fans made up for that! House is extremely well taken care of and sitting on the lanai watching sunsets can not be beat. Paul was an awesomely attentive host and was there anytine we needed him. Word of advice for the food trucks that are a 5 minute walk away...skip the taco truck and “north shore shrimp truck”...you will be utterly dissapointed. Go to the back of the food truck parking lot. Aji Lima (poke.sashimi, and ceviche) and the burger place outshine all the other food trucks. Or drive up the road to Kahuku and hit the trucks up there.

Beautiful North Shore Home for sure
Paul's home is outstanding as was our stay there. Every piece of furniture, appliance and amenity was top quality. The location is super secluded, views of ocean from hillside are stunning, sounds of birds from the mountain side are warming and a short walk to the beach or food trucks is convenient.
The outdoor shower is the best. No need to use the indoor shower. You can shower with full view of Ocean and be in total privacy.
Paul was very helpful getting us to and into the place. Once inside we had a quick 10 minute informative conversation where he ran down the specifics of the house.
There was nothing better than reading, eating or relaxing on the lanai with family. We hope to see this place again.
Thanks Paul for sharing your place with us.

Wonderful get away
Perfect location for North Shore. Very private. It is on a hill with a wonderful view of the ocean from the balcony (lanai). Saw some beautiful sunsets! The lanai is spacious with chairs and the dining table.
Traffic in Haleiwa is bad. If you want to go to Waimea Bay (one of the best beaches on Oahu) then the house (which is actually in Pupukea) is very close. Also even closer to the house is Shark Cove for snorkeling.
Paul responded quickly to questions - both before our arrival and during our stay.

WONDERFUL RETREAT FOR OUR FAMILY
We are a couple with 2 adult children and a plus one, all of us over 6' tall. We had plenty of space and everyone slept comfortably. The house has lovely air flow while the trade winds blow and fans to help when they don't. We spent most of our "at home time" on the lanai reading, talking and enjoying the view. The kitchen accommodates team cooking and has quality appliances. We walked to a variety of beaches and the grocery store as well and gleened ripe mango along the way. We really enjoyed our time here, and it went too quickly!

A very relaxing, comfortable house made for a great holiday.
We loved staying in this house. It was very comfortable & had everything we needed. The view was fantastic & it was close to highlights on the north shore while being in a quiet location. Paul was a great host too. We'd recommend it.

The Perfect Getaway
Oahu offers all kinds of vacations for travelers. Waikiki and Honolulu help satisfy the city craving, Kailua helps satisfy the beach with pristine sand and water craving, and the North Shore helps satisfy that need to get away from it all and have a relaxing vacation. Paul's house on the North Shore provides the quintessential place to rest your head and weary bones after a long day of exploring all that the island has to offer.
My friends and I had a long weekend of hiking, swimming, and kayaking and we loved the remoteness and privacy that Paul's house offered at the end of each day.
The highlights for us:
-Three good-sized bedrooms with incredibly comfortable beds
-An incredible lanai with an even more incredible view
-Whale watching with coffee and orange juice in the morning
-A nice A/V set-up is available if you want to relax and watch a movie in the evening
-Close proximity to Haleiwa and its many dining options
-Even closer proximity to a full-service grocery store
-Thoughtful and tasteful decor compliment the home and make it feel more authentic and comfortable
Specific details aside, perhaps the most important thing is that Paul was incredibly gracious and communicative from the initial message I sent him inquiring about our stay all the way through the check-out process. He made sure we got into the house without any trouble, gave detailed instructions to make its amenities easier to use, and even gave us recommendations about what to do on the North Shore. I can't say enough good things about this property.
I will definitely be staying at Paul's house the next time I am on Oahu.

Cozy Location!!!
Away from the traffic but close to the beach. Great property and views. The pictures aren’t as good as being there. House was cozy, not too big, not too small for my family of 4 that includes 2 teenagers that like their space. Loved the floor plan. Couldn’t get enough of the open sliding doors and windows out to the lanai. Paul took the time to check in with us to see if we needed anything and was a quick text away if we had questions. Mahalo Paul for the welcome and we can’t wait to return again!!

Very private, easy access to beaches and local stores. Paul was easy to deal with, very explanatory in his expectations and about the house.
Highly recommend this property to anyone wanting to enjoy the North Shore.

Just returned to the mainland after 6 fabulous nights at Paul’s plantation home. What a sweet little gem of a spot. Once you arrive, open all the sliding windows and doors and let the trade winds gently blow in, then relax to the sounds of the chickens and birds frolicking about the property. We had an incredible time exploring the amazing beaches and small towns. Make sure to visit the Waimea Bakery the food is amazing.

Really enjoyed this property. Very hesitant about renting a place sight unseen. Was pleasantly surprised when I arrived and was met by owner to show me the place. I loved how close to the beach it was and the view was excellent. Would defiantly stay there again. The outdoor shower was one of my favorites. The kitchen and all three bedrooms were also excellent. Thank you so much for the awesome stay on The North Shore. I would recommend this house to all my loved ones🕉☮️⭐️🌈

Thanks for all your hospitality Paul in making our stay on the North Shore great. Your house is beautifully located just off the beaten path with lots of open space around but still walking distance to the beach. We would go down and watch the sunsets each evening. We also liked that your living area and big deck face out toward the water and breezes. It made our morning coffee, dinners and time relaxing that much nicer. The outdoor shower was a huge plus too.

The house is a perfect location: walking distance to Foodland's Grocery store and nearby food trucks; Shark's Cove and Three Tables snorkeling; Banzai Skate park; and Ke Iki Beach, which is large and clean with white sand and clear water, and usually empty but for a handful of locals. We stayed during June and July and the waves--apparently huge for surfing in the winter--were never too rough for swimming (my seven-year-old nephew was fine to play in the surf all day.)
The house sits up on stilts on a short hill overlooking the water. The grounds are lush and untamed--with chickens and some cute little pigs running around--with a driveway that can fit 2-3 cars. The interior is beautifully set up with three bedrooms (comfortable and clean queen and king beds); an open style kitchen with gas stove, new fridge, dishwasher, and kitchen amenities (there's a weber grill); a full bath with shower as well as a lovely outdoor shower (both with great water pressure), with a view of the water; a living room with new and comfortable furniture and rug, and a complete media system, including hi-speed wifi, a very large flat screen TV, Apple TV with HBO, Netflix, and iTunes access, as well as cable connections for music; and a lanai (porch) with a big comfy day bed for breezy naps, high chairs to take in the ocean views and incredible sunsets, and a six-person dining set for outdoor meals. Well-lit with overhead ceiling fans. Linens, towels, beach towels, hangers, and extra fans were all new and nice.
The property owner and manager were easy to contact and responsive to all of our needs.
I can't recommend this spot enough. Great value. I hope to return in the future!
