SUMMER HOUSE BLDG B CONSTRUCTION NOTICE:

At the end of Summer 2022, Summer House began a multi-year project to completely revamp the development. Once complete, Summer House will look like a brand new condo!! The project is halfway completed. Please review the details on what to expect when visiting Summer House Fall 2024 - Late Spring 2025. Please reach out to us with any questions. Rates are discounted to offset the construction activity.

Important Summer House Construction Information:
* BEACH ACCESS will remain open.
* OUTDOOR POOL CLOSURE starting August 19, 2024. The indoor pool will remain open.
* SAFETY FIRST! Construction areas will be restricted while overhead work is being performed. Pedestrian traffic will be routed to one side of the building. Please follow the signage for pedestrian safely.
* Interiors for Building B are complete! All new sliding doors and windows; new exterior doors; all new coatings and paint on the beach front decks; all new paint on the south side of the building. ALL OF THIS LOOKS GREAT!!
* Temporary railings are installed along NORTH SIDE floor level walk ways/corridors in the B building. These are not pretty, but they are safe and meet all codes. Permanent railing installs will begin in September. The floors levels they are working on will be closed to rentals during this time. We have these condos blocked off for this work, so you will not be staying on a floor where the work is being done.
* Construction workers will be present most days during Fall 2024 working on the exterior of the NORTH SIDE of the building.

Parking may be limited at times. If so, additional vehicles can use the overflow parking lot located directly across the street from the condo.

The condo was a great rental unit with beautiful views. Parking was awful because of the construction that was taking place. We paid for an additional parking place (only one was included in the unit). When we did get a parking spot, we didn't leave for fear of not having a spot when we came back because we had issues the first night finding parking in either lot. Construction workers were kind and tried to stay out of our way as they worked.

The condo looked just as the photos. We were impressed by how well-kept this property was, and our favorite area to hang out was the balcony. Without a doubt, we will make another reservation in the future.

With the property under construction, the first impression wasn’t great but we were able to quickly look past it. The workers on site were courteous and tried to stay out of site. The pool was perfect for our family with different water depths and plenty of seating. The pool was also in the shade in the late afternoon, providing us with a break from the sun when we needed it the most. The unit was clean and fit 8 of us well. We also enjoyed the large balcony. The parking was easily accessible and key code entry was very helpful. There is an ice maker in the kitchen that came in very handy for filling our beach cooler. Overall, great stay!

My friends and I stayed at this condo for a moms’ beach weekend. The condo is beautifully decorated. We especially enjoyed the large balcony with plenty of seating. Everyone felt the beds were quite comfortable. The kitchen was well-equipped, so we prepared all of our meals right there. The property itself is in a great location. Easy beach access and a short drive to grocery stores and multiple restaurants. The pool area is beautiful, with lots of seating. We would definitely stay here again.

Great location. Great view. Little too high (9th floor and I am not a fan of heights) but everything else is amazing. We loved our stay.

Overall stay was good and the unit is nice. The floors needs professional cleaning and some items need updating. The building needs some updates. Great view from the balcony. A few places in walking distance from the condo. Love the ice machine in the unit. Would stay again . If I return to Orange Beach.

This was the perfect rental for our family. It was clean, fresh, and the property was amazing. The kitchen is fully equipped, we did a lot of cooking. We used the outdoor grill for cooking out. Our kids loved the grassy area in the back for playing ball. We will be back!

It met all of our needs. The condo is directly on the coast. The view of the gulf is amazing! Beautifully decorated and balcony was furnished nicely. Large hot tub/spa. Only have a few negatives. Neither pool was heated, there is no clock in any room (other than stove and microwave) and Silverware was lacking spoons. We were comfortable the 3 weeks we spent at this condo!

Updated condo. View of ocean is wonderful. Balcony is roomy and couch is comfy. Beds are ok,. Building is outdated, needs a new paint job. Door to condo could use some TLC. Awesome closet of beach chairs and toys. Overall I def would stay here again!!!

Our family enjoyed our stay. We particularly enjoyed the comfortable balcony furniture and great beach gear for guests. The ice maker is a huge plus and the beds and furniture feel like home! Excellent views from the balcony, which we enjoyed on the chilly days.

The condo was exactly as shown. Very clean, comfortable, and great location. The balcony was awesome. They had beach chairs and toys for use on the beach. Everything you could need for cooking meals was in the condo. We had a wonderful vacation in Orange Beach and would recommend Summer House 902B. Thank you!

This condo is very, very nice - it is beautifully decorated and the kitchen is better in-person with a very large balcony for relaxing and watching the water. We have stayed in the Summer House condos 3x now and our kids LOVE the pool plus you are also oceanfront. You are in the heart of the action - can't go wrong with this condo.

Condo was just as advertised. Only thing wrong were kitchen cabinets needed pulls, great soft close cabinets but a little hard to open. Ceiling fan in master bedroom made a terrible noise, unable to use it, but we were not uncomfortable. Overall good time. Perfect location.

Absolutely loved the balcony. You get to be at the beach without the sand. Of course, we loved the sand too, but those moments where you just want to have the view and the waves… it was perfect! Spacious. Clean. The door lock was a little challenging but for the price, I can deal with a minor issue. Everything else was great

We picked this property because of the amenities. The indoor heated pool was nice on the cooler days. The outdoor pool was pretty cold. We stayed beginning of April. Outdoor pool was not heated and our kids would not go in it. The Gulf felt warmer than the outdoor pool. The basketball hoop was missing so the kids were bummed about that. Our condo was real nice. Just like the photos. Comfortable beds, spacious living area, size of the balcony was a plus, full size washer and dryer, separate ice maker, short walk to the beach. Closet with Beach Chairs and beach toys was very nice. Exterior appears to have suffered some storm damage to building B. Elevator service records were expired. Nice to have 2 elevators. Security on site. Gated entry. We enjoyed our stay.

The Balcony

We spent the beautiful month of February on the balcony. Spacious and comfortable. Didn't catch the wind. Close to elevate and trash shoot. Luckily the master bath is small enough that you don't need walker inside as the door is too small for it to go through. Hang on vanity and a few short steps to comode. Doors into rooms would not accommodate a wheelchair. Abundance of linens. Kitchen is lightly equipped. Nice silverware. All in all very nice.

We have been to the beach before bu have never stayed in Perdido Beach. For this time of the year it was not crowded at all and the weather was just perfect. This condo was on the corner which had a big balcony to sit out on looking out at the gulf. Had plenty of room for all of us. The only thing I would say about it is there wasn’t a lot of cooking utensils and there’s only glasses no cups for like little ones. Beds were comfortable and rooms were a good size too. We will definitely be back.

I'm not sure how the pictures made this condo look nice but they did a phenomenal job to make it look way nicer than what it actually is. My wife is healing from mold exposure and after being in this unit for maybe 5 minutes she got a bad headache and had sinus pressure. After looking the unit over we noticed it had mold etched into the ceiling coming out of 2 vents. We tried to call the emergency contacts which neither answered, after 15-20 minutes one sent me a text and told me to call Alabama Getaway Vacation. What's the point of having emergency contacts when no one is willing to answer the phone or call you back. That being said I have to give Adley and Kendall from AGV credit where credit is due they stayed in contact with us until 10:30 that night and found us a condo. They both were super nice and extremely helpful so thank you to both of you! I will use AGV again in the future due to how you were eager to make sure we found another condo that we approved of. I normally do not write reviews, especially negative ones but hopefully, this will save someone who wanted to rent this condo the headache and hassle that we experienced.

We had a wonderful time! Great weather, great location, and nice condo. Our main critique is provided amenities, like toilet paper and trash bags -not enough for the duration of the stay for 4. Only one roll of tp per bathroom is inadequate and felt less friendly, like it’s less about ensuring we have a good time and focused more on dollars and cents.

Wonderful property! Just like the photos. We had a great time and enjoyed this beautiful space! Perfect location- easy access to beach. Had pretty much everything we needed (didn’t find a cutting board or colander but nothing we couldn’t handle). Pool is huge and shady in the late afternoon which was perfect after a day in the sun. Indoor pool was a great alternative for a rainy afternoon we had. Fitness center looked updated. Beds in the condo were really comfortable and there were extra beach things in the patio closet which was a nice bonus! The huge balcony is perfect and we loved spending early mornings out there! We would definitely book this condo again if/when we are back in Orange Beach!

The view from the balcony is amazing. Everyone was friendly. The buildings cleaning/maintenance crew were very nice. Recommended some places to eat. The beach is amazing. I do wish they had another pool since it’s two buildings sharing a pool and it was crowded but the beach wasn’t so we took advantage of that. Great place to stay at with the family
