Beautiful property and charming house with 3 master suites. Convenient to the area attractions and the restaurants in historic Midway were a pleasant surprise. Owners were easy to communicate with.

Our group enjoyed this property and its quiet location. The three bedrooms and en-suite bathrooms were perfect. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook a few meals. Would definitely stay again.

My family used this as home base for a few bourbon tours and some historical Lexington sighteeeing. The home was in a great location for this and was clean, well appointed and updated nicely. You can’t beat having 3 ensuite bathrooms for three couples! And having the winery with life music across the street was a bonus! We would absolutely stay again!

Just as described, the property has everything you need. Perfect for 3 couples, we each had our own room and bathroom. We had one issue but Pamela got it sorted quickly.

What a gem this is! We had a big group heading to Versailles for a friend's wedding and I was nervous to find a spot given the limited inventory in the area.
Once I found Saddlestone Cottage; however, my mood lifted and all of a sudden I'm the hero of our section of the group (3 couples) for finding such a pristine and perfect place.
Not only is the setting peaceful and idyllic (situated directly across the street from a winery) the house itself is well-appointed and the fact that each bedroom has its own full bathroom is spectacular.
If we ever find ourselves needing a place to stay in that part of Kentucky, you better believe we're checking Saddlestone for availability first!

The house has large bedrooms with sitting areas, plus a couple of common rooms. This gave us space to be together as well as our own spaces when we wanted it. There is a winery across the street, a nice yard and it is close to the Bourbon Trail. We will definitely stay there again if we return to the area.

It was so nice to have so much room for 3 couples traveling together for a long weekend, attending the Midway Bourbon & Blues Festival. Having 3 bedrooms with 3 insuite bathrooms was a bonus. We enjoyed the property, the gazebo, flowers & found the blueberry bush with blueberries ripening. I’ve already mentioned coming back & staying here again.

Me and two friends have stayed in this house at least four times and we keep coming back because both the house and the host (Pamela) are just wonderful! We have already booked another stay. Book with confidence!

We did bourbon tours over a 3 day period. The location is central to everything we wanted to do and the home is awesome. Everything in the home is perfect for couples and families. The owner even contacted us with instructions on what to do when the weather got bad during our visit. Very well stocked with all the essentials.

Great place to stay for 3 couples. The 3 bedrooms each with their own bath gave us plenty of space.

Great location, clean and comfortable. Internet was lacking.

Very very clean house, comfortable beds, and well-equipped kitchen - we had a wonderful stay to celebrate a friend's birthday while visiting several distilleries. The inside of the house has been updated with care, and is very comfortable for six adults. Loved that each bedroom has its own bathroom, with an additional half bath on the first floor. The outdoor seating area looked great, but it was a little chilly for us to take advantage of it.

Our family had a wonderful time staying in the cottage over the Thanksgiving weekend. Room for everyone! It was so comfortable and such a pretty setting across from the winery. We had everything we needed to make our holiday meal. Enjoyed the walks on the scenic road past the vineyard, river and barns.

The property was beautiful! Beautifully remodeled older home that was perfect for our party of 6. Very clean! I would rent again when going to this area.

This cute farm cottage is located amongst beautiful horse farms and across from a vineyard. Each of the three bedrooms had their own bathroom, which is hard to find. Kitchen is very clean and well stocked. I would certainly stay here again. In fact, I have stayed here twice.

We so enjoyed this property & all that it had to offer. Perfect for 3 couples with bedroom/bath for each + half bath downstairs. House was immaculate & kitchen had everything we needed. Front porch & back outdoor spaces were perfect for mild fall days.

Our group of cousins stayed for the second time at this perfect country house. We completed a horse farm tour and the rail explorer bluegrass trek. The house was a wonderful restful experience at the end of our busy days. If you want comfort, natural beauty and privacy then this is the spot!

This property was well-located for our tour of horse farms and distilleries in the Lexington/Frankfort area. It was the perfect size for our group of three couples, with each having a bedroom with private bath. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed, although we dined out most of the weekend - we tried some great restaurants in Midway. There are several outdoor gathering areas on the property. Bonus is a winery that is right across the street from the house!

My wife and I were recently in Kentucky for a little get away and this house was the perfect base for that adventure. Centrally located between Frankfort and Lexington it provided easy access to the Kentucky bourbon trail, Keeneland race track and the Ark Encounter. The farmhouse has a completely updated interior and the outdoor space was beautiful and private. We can’t wait to go back.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay from start to finish. It was a perfect place for our group of six people to experience the Bourbon Trail, local wineries, and horse country! Thank you to our host Pamela, for providing such a clean, well equipped, and welcoming place to call home for the week! Picking up the keys at the Equus Run Vineyard across the street was so easy and a wonderful start to our week. A big thank you goes out to the owner, Cynthia, for taking time to talk with us about her vineyard and it’s history. We hope to return in the future!

What a perfect place for our Bourbon Trail Adventure; with many unexpected surprises. First off, the location of the winery was fantastic. It is a great place to wine taste, pick up picnic supplies or just relax on the beautiful grounds; and their dry rose is delightful. The structure itself may have been one of the most relaxing VRBOs I have EVER stayed at. Very comfortable, all bedroom suites were well appointed, the kitchen has everything you need for
cooking in (including the BBQ), but the best part is the property itself. It is lovingly maintained, full of wonderful character, loaded with wildlife and conducive to good conversations and making memories.
Thank you for a wonderful stay!

The house was quaint. We walked across the street to the vineyard and has some flights. Very convenient. The drive to the distilleries was not too long md the quaint downtown was not far away. We really enjoyed our stay there.

The house was perfect! We had 3 couples and had plenty of space. The set up of the house works well for couples. Would definitely stay here again!

We were three adult couples visiting the area to run in the Pisgah Farm Half-“Mare”athon/10k. Nice to have three comparable rooms/bathrooms, all were pleased. Pleasantly surprised to see such a well-stocked kitchen too. Having the winery across the road and being near the charming town of Midway was a plus. We plan to book for next year’s run.

This is an amazing property and Pamela is a great host. Gave some great recommendations for places to eat. The property is located in a perfect spot to the different distilleries and a walk across the street to a winery. Will be back for sure and will recommend to everyone we know!

Wonderful! This was such a lovely place to stay. Very cozy. The owner checked in with USA few times to ake sure everything was ok. The whole house was so warm and comfortable. Great location to many of the Bourbon distilleries. There was a winery across the street..we scored. We’d sit outside and see the vineyards. Very well stocked home. We’d rent this place without a second thought. Four of us were in total agreement.

This was a quaint, comfortable little gem in bourbon country. Tuxedo was a great ambassador for our stay. We recommend this spot for a family get together.

We had just 3 days and 2 nights to enjoy this property and the surrounding area. We were in KY to visit some distilleries on the Bourbon Trail and this home was the perfect find! The home is adorable, very clean and welcoming. The kitchen is well appointed with plenty of appliances, dishes, etc. The bedrooms are cozy and comfortable. .
The location—well it’s amazing. So quiet and peaceful even though the interstate is nearby (which is super convenient).
Pamela was very attentive, checking on us and making sure we didn’t need anything.
Cannot wait to return to spend more time visiting Kentucky and this little gem of a home.

My husband and I stayed in this house, along with my sister and brother in law, while we visited distilleries on the kentucky bourbon trail. The central location was perfect for our trip! The house interior was a great design and had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend this property.

We had a great time at this property. It is perfectly located. Every place we wanted to go was easily accessible. From starting at the vineyard (to pickup keys) to finishing with a snow flurry this morning - it was perfect. We are already planning a return trip in the spring.

We had a wonderful stay at this adorable cottage. The house was well-equipped (especially the kitchen), well-situated between things we wanted to see in the area, and the perfect size for three adult couples (driving in from three directions, so with three vehicles). The weather was cooperative enough that, with coats, we enjoyed coffee on the front porch while watching the sunrise over the vineyard & cocktails on the back porch as the sun set over the rolling hills and board fences. We also really enjoyed our visit to the winery next door & the tasting - the fruit wines were especially delicious! We will definitely be bookmarking this property for any future visits to the area!
