The house is spacious and well equipped. Access was easy and the house was clean on arrival. The bedrooms are comfortable with lots of storage.
A few things need attention such as doors not closing properly and uneven floors.
4.5
The whole house was good especially the shower and the beds
Few little issues eg the floor in the kitchen needed to buy few extra pans n oven trays but everything else was good
5.0
The house was clean, spacious and very comfortable. It was also very well stocked in terms of kitchen and room amenities. The living room was cosy and very homely. Took us a while to figure out the shower but once done, it worked perfectly.
While the house was very well stocked, the one thing missed was a hair dryer. Also, the door of the downstairs toiled did not shut fully and could not be locked.

Horrible…dirty…horrid smell…shower dangerous for children…scolding hot for my son. Oven was disgusting. Shouldn’t be let at all..,don’t be fooled by the pictures it’s grim. Reviews show they have had issues with the shower and oven and bad smell 2yrs ago and not bothered! No idea how anyone rates this place positively…I’d rather sleep in a tent!

Clean and comfortable in a central location- easy walk into Exeter Town centre or to drive on to Dartmoor.
A little tired in places but generally very comfortable.

nice to have a house for our family to rent.
No teapot!

great location & liked that none of us had to compromise on bedroom & bed size.
couldn’t shut the window vents in attic room so was quite cold especially as we stayed on a stormy night.
4.5
The house was very comfortable. With lots of space and amenities.

Very convenient for visiting family. Quiet, safe neighbourhood. Clean and tidy. Good wi-fi. Warm and welcoming: decorated Christmas tree was a nice touch.
Hot water too tepid to have a bath. Electric shower was very "spurty". Upstairs loft bed not particularly comfortable. Attempts to use the oven tripped the RCD.
4.5
The property was warm and welcoming with lovely Christmas touches. The table was laid for us which also added to the welcome. Everything was clean and comfortable and easy to use. We were very pleased to be able to park easily outside the property for free!
The bed in the attic wasn’t very comfortable.

Caroline was always available on the phone for any issue, the property was clean and tidy, with plenty of spare bedding/pillows/blankets. We had a lovely stay and we would be staying again in the future.

It was good to know that breakfast was provided for us.
Close proximity to all the places we wanted to go to. Nice, spacious and well-taken care of.
We enjoyed our stay
Some of the cooking utensils were used and dirty with old dried food still in them and stuffed in the cupboard as if it was cleaned.
I also thought the house had a bit of a moldy smell. Turning on the heat for a short while made a big difference.
Still rate this property as the best stay ever.

Good location. Good facilities eg washer and dryer
Clean
Property is getting a little tired in places eg oven and shower door upstairs
Garden furniture would be nice
A clothes airer to complement the washer

The house is in a quiet residential area. Convenient for getting into and out of Exeter, which is what we needed. Parking was easy but as noted, you can't park directly outside during the daytime (but other spaces within a few minutes walk). Shops etc only a few minutes away walk too. I'd read the reviews and agree the house is a little shabby in places-especially the floor tiles, the downstairs bathroom. But it was clean and overall was a great space for our family. The lounge area is comfortable, the bedrooms and family bathroom on 1st floor were all nicely finished, very acceptable shower. Washing up liquid and bath/ shower soap was plentiful, along with teabags, coffee, sugar-but no, you won't get milk or a welcome pack of edible goodies or a hairdryer.
The back yard is not very welcoming, but you can always take a kitchen chair outside.

Comfortable, workable space for the family - parking worked ok
In need of a spruce up in places - looking tired in kitchen/utility area

The house was spacious, comfortable, well equipped.Lovely and peaceful street. New loft area lovely and light. Parking is an issue but can be accommodated. The parking permits are not available to you but after 4pm no restrictions until 9am next day. We got around this by being out during day and returning after 4. To go to Exeter and park. There is no where around the vicinity to park on another street. All restricted. We talked to a neighbour who verified this. He said traffic wardens were very rare though. I'd recommend the just park app. We parked all day in church just outside town for about £4. We visited Double Locks, The Quay and the town. My brother went to University here 20 years ago and it was a great trip back memory lane while he was visiting from Australia.
The outside courtyard area needs a spruce. Memory foamtoppers on the beds would make a massive difference.

Nice location, quiet neighbourhood, parking easy (on weekend), house was warm, generally clean. The basics were all covered so it was ok for one night, but the problems listed below might be more frustrating for a longer stay.
Loft bedroom bed uncomfortable. Generally clean but discovered old plastic bottles by one bed and under another bed, plus a beer can sitting outside the window in the garden. Lack of welcome pack or instructions as to how things work. Elements of the house look quite tired (e.g., rusty oven). It was fine for one night, but it felt functional more than a good holiday location.

Good location, easy contactable host. Clean bedding and towels available. Parking free at weekend outside of the house. Nice touch with tea, coffee and milk.
Boiler problem which was sorted via a phone call to the host but is a known problem. Smell of stale cigarette smoke particularly in main bedroom and lounge. Ariel to Tv broken. Would really like an information file, just with info relating to Exeter, transport and the house.

It was easy to get into the property. The lounge was very cosy and I appreciated the Xmas tree. The bedroom was comfortable and the bathroom facilities were good. Kitchen had everything I needed. Would stay again.
The cooker extractor fan needs some attention as was quite unclean. Otherwise, all good.

Very clean. Rooms good size. Well equipped. Free parking on street overnight. Easy 30 min walk to Exeter town centre. Good communication with host .
Street parking during day is permit only, but we knew this in advance. Can park for free overnight though.

Good sized property for the money. Seemed to be fairly well kitted out.
Didn't feel very clean
Parking was a nightmare as we arrived fairly late so couldn't get a space on the road
