We really enjoyed our stay at Clareon By The Coast. It's really close to the beach and the kids especially enjoyed the porch swing and pool.

Since we were staying during what is historically known as one of the busiest weeks of the year, we were seeking a property close to all the places we love to go and do in Alys and Rosemary Beach and Watersound without the crowds on the beaches and swarms of teenagers that gather near Peddlers Pavilion and Seaside. This location was perfect. A short 15 minute bike to go to shop or have lunch or dinner. Close to the beach. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes for cooking in. We enjoyed the board games And we enjoyed the pool on some of the windy and chilly days. The only negative was the cleanliness of the pool. We paid to have the pool heated which was a comfortable temperature. However It was not clean upon our arrival and we had to request someone come clean out the leaves and bugs. And had asked to have the pool chlorine tested. The pool was vacuumed early in the week. but it did not appear the chlorine was checked until the pool company returned on the morning of our last day there when the pool company came and cleaned the pool and shocked it. So our use of the pool that we paid to have heated was limited. Overall a great rental. We would stay here again.

Clareon by the Coast has a near perfect combination of proximity to the beach (5 min walk, easy with small children), having its own pool, and good space for a family of 5. The unit has a great living room off the kitchen which is a nice hang out spot and it has plenty of porch space. Love that it is along an area of the beach that’s never crowded.

Had a great time! Location was great and everything we needed was on the property. They had chairs, beach toys, pool floats, and bikes. Easy access to the beach, only downfall was having to carry everything up and down the beach access stairs. Other than that we would totally rent this location again. It was nice having everything at our finger tips especially the pool!

We loved the layout and comfort of the home. The pool was great! The porches allowed for nice places to relax. The home had starter supplies of many necessities- thank you! Property manager was very responsive and helpful. 5 min walk to beach access and we enjoyed riding the bikes too. New Publix grocery store is a 5-10 min drive and very convenient. Great vacation! The location of the property is great. A short walk to the beach and a long walk or quick car ride into Alys and Rosemary Beach. That is the most positive thing I can say.
The outside furniture needs to be cleaned off. It’s crusted over and not somewhere you’d want to sit at the moment. They probably also need to hire hire an exterminator to address the litany of ant hills in the driveway but that’s not a huge deal.
Check-in was a pain. Our door code didn’t work at the scheduled time. I would also not expect any leniency on the time from the management company. Our rental was unoccupied (I know this because they tried to get me to book extra nights immediately before). We arrived about 15 minutes early with young kids and they insisted it was unavailable to be checked in early….despite the fact that there was nobody there and no reason they couldn’t have allowed it. They aren’t obligated to let us in early but we certainly had the feeling it was because we declined their offer of discounted nights that the property was otherwise going to be unoccupied for.
The inside was generally clean. Layout of the living room and kitchen was pretty poor but it’s a small house so not much to be done there. I wouldn’t rely on the internet which constantly cut out. There was a leak under the kitchen sink that caused a mildew smell. They sent someone out to fix it which was quick and the worker was friendly, but the company said the previous renters had pointed it out to them but they decided to wait until a day after we checked in to fix it (even though the house was empty in the days leading up to our stay).
The outside shower by the pool didn’t work to rinse off which was an annoyance. My absolute biggest issue: the company charges $50 per day to heat the pool (which is fine…a little annoying that I have to pay for full day at the end when checkout is 10 AM bud so be it). The problem: the pool was heated at the beginning of our stay (measured 85-86 degrees). By the middle of our 5 day stay it was down to 79-80 and by the last full day it was down to 75 which was too cold to swim comfortably. Keeping in mind the weather was consistent this whole time. This was the company charging us to heat the pool $50/day but only actually heating it for one, possibly two, days at the beginning .
I wouldn’t recommend it.

The house is perfect! Clean, beautifully decorated and had everything we needed to have a great vacation. The kitchen is well stocked with everything needed to cook large meals.
The location is perfect. Close to the beach (2 to 3 minute walk). The house isn’t directly on 30A, so you feel secluded and away from it all.
The bikes were a bonus. There are plenty of beach/pool things in the shed. (Chairs, sand toys, pool noodles, etc…)
We didn’t use the pool since it was just the two of us, but we did love sitting out by it with our music and drinks.
The bed swing on the porch was my go to spot with my coffee in the morning.
If you like oysters, Old Florida Fish House is a must. They have the best charbroiled oysters!(In my opinion 😉)
We loved it and hope to take our granddaughter back soon. Would definitely recommend and look forward to renting again.

But, there were no extra linens for us to use the sleeper couch and bunk room had incomplete linens on bed. No blankets or coverlets. Several closet doors stick badly.

Reasons to stay at Clareon By the Coast:- Great size for one family. (We have 3 kids and the family room area is a little cozy inside, but we still had plenty of room to spread out because of the great front porch, screened in back porch and pool deck area.)- Clean, updated and nicely decorated inside. - This place is perfect if you want to spend time in Rosemary, Seacrest Village, Seaside, etc but you also want to be able to get out of the crowds. Clareon is a quiet street and the houses are not crammed together.- The 3 bikes at the property were really great. 10 - 15 min peddle to Rosemary, Alys and Seacrest areas. Nice touch to have those included.- The beach access was perfect for us. Easy walk. Very accessible. Significantly less crowded than beaches at Rosemary, Seacrest, Seaside, etc. Having the 2 beach chairs and umbrella set up and waiting for us every day was a really nice plus too.I'd suggest this house if you want to be able to easily and quickly get to shopping, eating, etc in the village areas of Rosemary, Alys and Seacrest with a short bike ride or even shorter drive, but also enjoy getting out of the crowds. If you always want to be in the thick of it and/or want to be able to easily walk to those three areas out your front door, this would not be your perfect spot.

Beach Town Getaway
Staying at this property was the perfect beach town getaway with a “staycation” vibe. The house provided us with the ability to spend quality time with family with an “at home” feeling. We were able to lounge by the pool, have cookouts, layout at the beach, or ride bikes through the beautiful neighborhoods and local shops. For anyone who is unfamiliar with the area this is not where you want to stay in order to party in PCB. Everything is a fair distance away and Ubers are almost unattainable in the evening hours. We will definitely be back!

The process to reserve and gain access to the property was very easy and a great experience working with the rental company. The property was exactly as described and pictured. The pool was clean and perfectly fit our needs. The kitchen was well equipped and there were plenty of towels. The bedrooms were nice and the couch pulls out so there is an extra spot for guests. Overall it was very comfortable and functional. We loved the wrap around front porch and used every area of the house. The beach is only a block away. The property is located in between Seaside and Seacrest and you are close to lots of shopping and food (easier to drive than bike or walk). Very quiet,safe, nice neighborhood. My wife and two young children had a wonderful two weeks at Clareon By the Coast. The location of the home is excellent, just steps from the beach on a quiet tree lined street, and an easy bike ride away from many shops and restaurants on the included bikes. The bikes are adult sized, but a child bike can easily be rented in one of the two nearby rental shops. We were there in the spring, and the heated pool made our afternoon swims in the pool comfortable.
Oversee was very responsive to any questions we had. Unfortunately, during our stay the laundry machine was broken. Technicians attempted to fix it while we were there but couldn't get it working. Oversee made it right, and offered to take our laundry and wash a load, so no complaints there.
All in all, we will be looking to return to this location in the future!

We've been staying in the panhandle area my entire life, and often in the 30A area. This lovely home is perfect! The house was impeccably clean with comfortable beds and an overall great layout. We spent several evenings playing games in the living room or kitchen table, and we loved the open feel of that area (we had some friends who live in the area visit a few times while we were there, and it was a lovely place to host them). The kitchen is well-appointed, stocked with everything we needed and the decor throughout the home is quite tasteful. From the minute we walked in we felt relaxed and at home.The outdoor space was also lovely: very inviting with lots of seating and several relaxing areas to choose from. The bikes were an added bonus for cruising 30A! Beach access was super close!! And you simply cannot beat the location as it's centered perfectly in the 30A area, near Seacrest, Rosemary, and all the awesome restaurants, yet the home itself is on a non-busy street and retains that wonderful, quiet, retreat feeling. Bonus points for the amazing (covered!) wrap-around porch and there's even a screened-in porch - lovely for evening wine and conversation. ;-) You cannot go wrong with this rental. House in a nice central location. 2 minute walk to beach. Short bike ride to Rosemary Beach or the Hub. Everything worked in house and the pool heater was great. Thanks for the great vacation!

For those who complain about every little imperfection on rental houses, you need to check your negativism! Just because there's a leaf in the pool doesn't mean you have to tell the world about it in a negative review. Happy vacationing!

Black mold and so dirty!!!
Do not stay here- it was filthy and there was black mold covering in the closets and vents. I wish Vrbo would let me post all the photos I took. The only good thing was they gave our money back. If you actually read the reviews it’s pretty obvious they are just pasting the same review over and over. They should have their rental privileges revoked for renting a place in this condition, and posting fake reviews about it.

The beds are super uncomfortable. The pool filter had a crack in the pipe so it was spitting water around. Took them 4 days to fix.What was most annoying was the lack of things being clean when we got there. There was still coffee grinds in the coffee machine, the grill was disgusting and we ended up not wanting to use it, the bikes weren't in good shape, etc..If you are looking for a quick stay and plan on eating out alot, then it's fine. For a longer term stay, it wasn't ideal for our family.

This place was a gem! I can’t believe we were lucky enough to get a week open! Very comfortable and well appointed. The home stayed cool and comfortable and the pool and front porch are amazing. Tons of pool and beach toys and inflatables already blown up, beach chairs and more. Everything we needed was there. The location was great with very short walk to beach access. Lots of restaurants close and a small grocery store Seacrest Sundries in Rosemary Beach for anything you forgot. We recommend Big Bad Breakfast (join waitlist online) Shades!!! Amazing food, and a little drive down 30a you will find FOOW beachside restaurant with amazing seafood and more!

This was our third stay at Clareon By The Coast. We have enjoyed every visit! We love the large front porch for relaxing, and the private pool is perfect! You cannot beat the location of this rental: a short walk to the beach, a quick bike ride to Alys Beach and Rosemary Beach, and a short drive to The Hub. After staying at Clareon By The Coast, we never want to leave because it feels like a second home. We will definitely be back for more memorable visits!
