If you find yourself searching for the perfect place to spend a family vacation this year, then look no further than Sassy Seahorse! This beautiful three-bedroom, three-bathroom vacation rental home is in the quaint community of Magnolia Cottages by the Sea, beautifully integrated into the surrounding nature.

Inside this incredibly cozy home, the living room features plenty of seating, perfect for watching the big game on the flatscreen TV. There is a full bath that is right off the living room to clean up after a day at the beach. The kitchen features a large stainless fridge and plenty of space for family meal preparations. There is also additional seating for five along the kitchen bar which invites gathering & community for the whole family. At the end of a nice day, enjoy a homemade meal with family and friends on the large screened-in porch and relax!

Moving through the home, there is a bunk room with 2 set of twin over full bunks and a queen bedroom that has a private bath for a relaxing soak at the end of a long beach day. The master suite features a king bed and a private bathroom which is a true retreat!

Sassy Seahorse is only a short distance away from the hottest 30A hotspots- you can easily walk to Alys Beach or bike to Rosemary! Incredible restaurants like Edwards & Caliza have the best cocktails and cuisine in the area. There are endless nightly events going on and plenty to keep you entertained. Seaside is only a five mile drive to the east. There is something for everyone at this sensational home!

Adequate for our needs. Good location well equipped except Cottage needs some attention. No spreads on the beds only sheets and blankets. The second bedroom door latch wouldn’t hold so had to prop closed for privacy from the inside. Dishwasher leaked. Maintenance called to schedule time to come out 2 days after we already left. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the sassy seahorse cottage. Upon arrival the home was freshly cleaned. There was enough room for us our 17 and 18 year old daughter along with our friend and her daughter. The beach was a quick 5 minute walk, however we were told on day one that magnolia guests are not allowed to set up their personal items in front of the access that goes with the neighborhood. We had to walk down past the next public access , it wasn’t far but it was much easier to walk along the sidewalk to the public access and then down to set up our stuff as opposed to carrying all out items through the soft Sandy beach. There are quite a few stairs down to the beach so you will be in shape after your stay! The neighborhood was very quiet even though the houses are closer than where we typically stay. We had a golf cart for the week we rented. Rosemary and seaside beaches were a very short ride away for shopping and dinner. Publix is also a short drive or golf cart ride away. The house is very close to the. Neighborhood pool. There were ample towels provided so you didn’t feel like you had to wash and dry after everyone showered daily. Kitchen was well stocked. It was nice that all 3 bathrooms were full bathrooms so each room had their own bathroom. There is also a small store at the entry of the neighborhood that had a great wine selection along with snack foods, sunscreen, ice and other Nicnaks that were very reasonably priced. Great place to stay!!

Great location and amenities. A few repairs needed- master bath shower leaks all over floor using use, dryer requires two cycles to dry any clothes, even after vent cleaned, oven needs cleaning including around floor as it was dirty all on outside and around floor. Water filter needs to be replaced on fridge

This property was perfect for our party of 10. Convenient to the beach and local communities, roomy and extremely clean. Definitely will look to book them again next time.

We had a girls trip to the beach and enjoyed staying at this property. It was the perfect location to get to the beach easily. The golf cart provided entertainment and fun. The back porch was great for night time socializing and card games! Overall a great experience all around.

Great place and a few considerations

Great cottage, neighborhood and pool. The beach is super close and we had an issue and they came on Sunday to fix it. BUT, the water heater doesn’t hold enough for the house’s capacity, we spread out our showers. Its a small water heater not for 10. Should be tankless. Also, check the fees, way too much we paid as much in fees as per night for 5 nights. VRBO needs to fix this, like Marriott did. The price should be the price. Great owners, great place, just some considerations.

Very nice cottage with everything you need to have an awesome time ! We really enjoyed our stay . However, there was no communication . I sent several messages on how to get the keys of the golf cart or how to use it . Called and left voice mails but no one reached back until our last day. My messages that I sent through the app still haven’t been answered. Also , we wanted to know if there were any instructions for check out . No one answered. The instruction paper needs perhaps more direction. Some dust in our rooms as well. But If it weren’t for the communication issue 5 stars.

Great beach charm

Great beach charm

I took my daughter and three of her friends to the beach this year to celebrate their college graduation. It was perfect!! It was well equipped with everything you would need in a house, we cooked several times during our stay. . The closed in patio and outdoor seating was used every night. The golf cart was awesome and very fun for us get around in. I would highly recommend this cottage and already plan to book again.

We enjoyed our stay at the sassy seahorse. The house was clean. The kitchen was well stocked. Beds were comfortable. We loved the porch, we ate most of our meals there. The golf cart was fun to explore the local 30a area. (Be careful it could use some new brakes 😬) The beach was a close walk even without the golf cart and the pool was super close! We would definitely visit again! Be sure to bring your own beach chairs, sand toys, and beach towels.

Our family enjoyed this place immensely! Although it is across the street from the beach, it is near the pool and only a short hike to a large area of public beach. Don’t bother using the beach access directly across the street; walk just past the Mistral and use that access point. There is much more room to spread out, away from the private beach patrol. Best Beach Getaways service was top notch. We hope to return again soon!

Great location, a short bike or walking distance to Alys Beach, Rosemary Beach and the Hub. The house is steps away from the heated community pool (our little ones loved the pool) and a short walk to the private beach. The neighborhood is wooded and quiet, and has a small sundry shop with drinks and snacks. The house itself was nice, well appointed with kitchenware, though be prepared to bring all your food stuffs and beach towels. There were some kitchen plumbing issues while we were there (garbage disposal and dishwasher), though best beach getaway had someone come check is out the same day.

This property was great. It was extremely clean, and the kitchen was well equipped with a large island and plenty of dishware,etc for larger groups for dinner. My kids loved the bunk room and the screened porch. Excellent distance from both pool and beach. One of the bedroom’s door (queen size bed) did not shut and lock which was a little Inconvenient and hopefully is fixed. Very nice to have amenities such as plush bath towels, bath toiletries, kitchen towels, dishwasher tabs, trash bags, etc which didn’t require us to go to the store immediately. We will stay here again!

The home was as advertised, the only issue we encountered was that the grill needed to be clean and was unusable due to all the grease build up, otherwise the stay was very nice. It is very close to the heated pool and walking distance to the ocean. It’s also situated nicely between popular destinations (Rosemary, the hub and seaside) but not as busy since you are not right in those popular areas. The porch was great to sit out on, we had guest over for dinner and there was plenty of room. I would stay there again!
