Modernes Appartement mit sportlichem Anstieg.

Little Townhouse ist ein großzügiges Appartement. Es ist alles da, was den Aufenthalt angenehm macht. Wenn man den Dreh raus hat, ist auch der große Sonnenschirm schnell auf- und zugemacht. Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Man ist zu Fuß in 20 Minuten in der Innenstadt.

Das Parken kann schwierig werden, da es für nicht Anwohner nur wenige Parkplätze gibt, die tw. auch von Anwohnern genutzt werden. Das Parken auf M-markierten Plätzen (Moradores - Nur für Anwohner), kann dann schon mal 60€ kosten. Auch wenn es eine Nebenstraße im Wohngebiet ist, ist immer was los.

We had a wonderful 10 days and will come back to the Little Townhouse.

The kitchen is well equipped, and we really loved to have the little scullery to clean out painting brushes. The view from the roof terrasse is great and we could watch the fireworks at the harbour. Easy walk to the center of town.

super schön, entspannend, jederzeit wieder!

Super Lage, Ausstattung, tolle Dachterasse mit sehr schöner Aussicht und sehr netter Kontakt zu den Vermietern (deutschsprachig).

schlechte Parksituation, da viele Parkplätze für Anwohner reserviert sind. Wir hatten aber meist Glück in der näheren Umgebung was zu finden.

A very nice stay in excellent accommodation.

The property was very clean and comfortable with the added bonus of two nice outdoor seating areas. It was located in a quiet residential area of Funchal. It was just a ten minute walk into the old town where there were plenty of restaurants and a couple of mini-supermarkets. I used public transport and there was an efficient bus service. Communication with the hosts both before and during my stay was excellent and they also arranged private airport transfers for me at a reasonable price.

Fantasztikus hely rövid és hosszabb távra is. It is a perfect place for visiting Madeira.

A lakás fantasztikus és nagyon jó helyen van. A két hálószoba és a fürdőszobák is tökéletesek. A konyha különösen, de az egész lakás kivételesen jól felszerelt. A nagyszoba a terasszal és a felső terasz a kilátással élvezetessé teszi a reggeleket és az estéket. A házigazda mindenben segít, transzfer, autókölcsönzés stb. nem probléma. A kulcsok átvétele és visszaadása tökéletesen rugalmas, segítőkész és alkalmazkodó. Mindenkinek ajánlani tudom. The apartment is fantastic and very well located. The two bedrooms and bathrooms are perfect. The kitchen particularly, but the whole apartment is exceptionally well-equipped. The main room with the terrace and the upper terrace with its view make mornings and evenings enjoyable. The host will help with everything, transfers, car hire etc. are no problem. Pick up and return of keys is flexible, cooperative, and convenient. I would recommend it to everyone.

Wunderschönes Stadthaus in ruhiger Lage in Funchal

Das Haus ist sehr geschmackvoll und hochwertig eingerichtet. Man merkt der Ausstattung an, dass alles perfekt geplant und umgesetzt wurde. Wir haben noch nie in so einem tollen Haus unseren Urlaub verbracht. Auch die Kommunikation mit den netten Vermietern verlief bestens. Wir können es uneingeschränkt weiter empfehlen!

Exceptional

Little Townhouse Funchal is perfectly located, very close to the Old Town - about 10 to 15 minutes walk. The owners are very nice and helpful - perfect communication. The house was very clean, cosy, well equipped, with air conditioning. The patio on the ground floor was just perfect for chilling in the evenings after our trips round Madeira Island. And the rooftop terrace with amazing view over the ocean and the city of Funchal - super nice :) Staying in the Little Townhouse for over the week was a great pleasure :) I would recommend it for everybody who's looking for a peacefull, pleasant location.

Sometimes it was difficult to find a parking spot near the house. I thought that there'll be a parking place on the property - it appeared to be the common parking for all the neighbours with some places reserved for the locals.

A place where dream holidays come true

Exactly as in the pictures & more! Super nice hosts, conveniently located just 10min from the city center. Clean, spacious, rooftop terrace with BBQ (even charcoal was provided) and view over Funchal- see the cruise ships coming and going from a safe distance 😉, quiet local neighborhood

Delightful, well appointed, maintained and equipped house with a patio and roof garden, making it an ideal location for a Madeira holiday.

The only downside, the short but steep hillside walk up and down to Funchal centre, comes with the territory and with the added bonus of the fantastic views over the town and the ocean. We left fitter than when we arrived but you could always opt out and use a taxi!

Great holiday home

Lovely accommodation, in a great location only 15 minutes walk to the Old quarter of Funchal. As it's Funchal there is a steep hill to walk on way back but this wasn't a problem for us and there are plenty of taxis available if needed. Very comfortable accommodation with all facilities, including 2 very comfortable double beds and 2 bathrooms with great showers. The 2 patio areas are a real bonus. We had a fabulous holiday and Anna and Daniel were great hosts.

Fantastic place with everything you need, can't wait to return

Had everything you needed for a comfortable stay. Loved the outside area, nice place to chill in the evenings with a glass of wine. Clean and comfortable a really nice place and a home from home.

The last little bit of the walk up the hill in the evening sometimes was tiring when you had been walking all day, but once we discovered the taxi service was really quick and cheap is was great, trust me it's 5 euros well spent if you don't feel like the exercise and you don't get the views without the hill. Going down was a breeze.

Exceptional

The location in Old Town was situated high up affording superb views of Funchall. The property itself is fitted out to a very high standard and extremely clean. Anna met us upon our arrival and was lovely. Daniel telephoned us as soon as we arrived at the airport to welcome us and told us where to meet the taxi that they had arranged for us. Any questions as to where to eat, arranging taxi transfers to airport etc were dealt with promptly . The apartment itself lends itself perfectly for two couples as the double bedrooms are situated on different levels each with their own ensuites. We could not fault a thing and can heartily recommend The Little Townhouse as a great place to stay in the beautiful island of Madeira.

A word of warning for those with mobility problems. The apartment is situated high up in Old Town and the walk up requires some stamina. We got round this easily enough by walking down and getting a taxi back!!

Great hosts, great property, loved Funchal

Overall the property exceeded our expectations especially the outdoor areas which we took full advantage of.

Not the accommodations fault but the property is up a very steep hill which was no problem going down but for a couple in their 60’s it meant a taxi home (6-10 euros).

Beautiful flat with stunning views of Funchal

Had the most amazing week in Funchal and staying at the Little Townhouse. The photos don’t do justice to how beautiful and spacious the split level flat is, and we really loved using both terraces for breakfast and BBQ. There’s quite a steep road leading up to the property, but the stunning views from the apartment make it more than worthwhile. Daniel was such a gracious and helpful host, and we were able to have a late checkout as no other guests were arriving. Really was the perfect spot for our group of four and I can’t recommend highly enough!

Exceptional

Anna and Daniel were so helpful and friendly. They helped us organise excursions and taxis. When we were confined to the Little Townhouse to wait for our covid test results, they had bought us plenty of basic supplies - coffee, bread, milk, cheese, wine etc to keep us going and made us feel very welcome. The house and everything in it was of a high standard and very clean.

We loved everything, nothing to complain about at all.

Exceptional

I cannot recommend this accommodation highly enough. Daniel and Anna are great hosts. They were always willing to help us with anything we needed during our stay. The accommodation itself is spotlessly clean and equipped with everything you need, even for a longer stay. There are two beautiful bedrooms (each has its own bathroom). There are two terraces, one ideal for morning coffee and the second for an evening barbecue. We will definitely come back in the future. Daniel and Anna thank you again for everything.
