Das Haus ist sehr schön, man fühlt sich schnell wie zu Hause. Alles ist hell und in den Zimmern hat es AC.
Unser Badezimmer hatte keinen Abzug - wir mussten jeweils die Türe offen lassen.

Camera e bagno arredati con gusto e molto puliti. Spazi comuni (cucina, sala e giardino) grandi e curati nei minimi particolari. Posizione comoda vicino a Lajes do Pico.

Another property in the Azores that has had major investment. Four bedrooms, three upstairs, one (ours) down a few steps from the front door. Shared kitchen and shared lounge with other guests. Breakfast you do yourself and the host will explain this to you (and what there is) on arrival. Most breakfast items are in the shared fridge, plenty bread and a nice touch is how to toast the corn bread. Lovely honey and jam.
We did book the room with the external bathroom but did not realise it would be crossing the main corridor for all guests into the living area and kitchen. Robes are provided. We had one window onto the street level and one window onto the shared balcony so if privacy was wanted all curtains needed pulled. The main door was also close to our room so you hear all guests entering and leaving and moving up / down on the wooden stairs. Walls are thin so when guests prepare and eat breakfast at 6.30am the downstairs bedroom (ours) is very noisy.

Spacious room, nice and comfortable. Very iluminated place with a huge kitchen and some balconies perfect to have a relaxing breakfast. Also very well comunicated with all the island.
We had some small problems with the shower (the doors didn’t close perfectly and get a little stuck sometimes)

It is a nice house with a friendly host. You get a comfortable bed and for your breakfast everything is in the fridge. You make it yourself. The host comes und brings bread every morning.
Nothing to complain about.

good location, self catering breakfast and nice common area to meet other people while still having your private space as a couple , beautiful outside spaces, a lot of light in the room, nice host
it’s a bit like a shared house with other guests so you have to like to share a kitchen,
unfortunately the walls are really thin and you can hear the other guests when they get up in the morning, shower etc. or talk late at night so we unfortunately were awake at 6 in the morning

The house is beautiful, comfortable beds, nice garden. the staff was very friendly and helpful.
breakfast was ok, for us it wasn’t the best location as we had to drive quite a bit for a supermarket/restaurant

The rooms were beautifully decorated and it was quite clear that the hosts renovated the place with quality materials. I loved the upstairs terrace with the swing and the whole place was wonderful to rest after the climb to pico.
the neighbors rooster, and it was tricky to park the car in the front sometimes, but there is a church close by that you can park next to.

The appartment has a shared kitchen where we met 2 other couples at breakfast. It was nice to start a day in such a way :-) The owners - Felipe and his mother - are very nice, friendly hosts and gave useful information about the island, restaurants etc. Felipe came immidiately with new capsules after one of the guests told him that coffee capsules ran out. The view from the room on the green landscapes and goats is amazing. The bed was big, new and comfortable.

We had a lovely time spending a couple of nights here. Everything you need for a holiday is there. Filipe wants you to feel at home, and that was the feeling we had. We also had a good contact with the other guests, because of the shared kitchen and living room. It's an amazing place to stay!

Our stay was too short.

We had a great time in Pico island, Filipe gave us great advices about where to go whale watching and where to eat, the room and the whole accomodation was great, really bright and we had everyday for breakfast fresh breadand homemade jam. Keep on like this!
On weekends is not so easy to find places open for meals so be prepared for a plan B.

The whole house was bright and clean and we liked the vibe. The room and the private bathroom were well equipped. The breakfast was simple but very tasty. We especially liked the fresh bread every morning. We liked hanging out on the terrace with the great view or in the common area. We really enjoyed our stay and would come back anytime.

The place on the whole is quite nice, everything is renovated to a high standard, nicely furnished, very clean, very friendly host. The location was also good, easy to reach with a car.
We had the room in the ground floor with the external bathroom and it was not the right room for us due to the lack of privacy. The room is directly in front of the kitchen/common area where people eat breakfast/dinner. Some people would sit there until late (23.30), others would have their breakfast early (8.00) and we would hear everything. It is also very unpleasant to go to the bathroom in the morning/evening walking by the other guests who have their breakfast/dinner.It also happened that other guests used our bathroom even though it is supposed to be our private bathroom. The lack of privacy also comes from the fact that the room can be looked into from the outside from both sides, from the terrace which is a common area and from the street. It feels a bit like in an aquarium and means we have to put the curtains in front whenever we are in the room. All in all it feels like a flat share situation. It was not what we were looking for, maybe other people might be less bothered.

fully staffed kitchen
comfortable living room
nice, modern and functional styling, furniture and decoration
the bedroom was not always separate from the bathroom by a wall/ceiling
the house is somewhat clairaudient
it would have been nice to have more outdoor seating possibilities for every room

this place is awesome!
nice interior, equipment and facilities are in very good condition (the house was recently renovated), die host is super friendly and the breakfast is good (included in the price).
i enjoyed my time here and can definitely recommend this accommodation to others.
felt very comfortable.
there is a gas station in 50m distance which also offers a small selection of essentials, so if you’re planning on cooking something you’ll find ingredients for an easy meal there.
nothing, all good!

The house is wonderfully renovated, plenty of natural light in every room. Felipe, the host was super nice and responsive. He also got us fresh bread in the morning. The rooms were clean and spacious. Nice terrace with a tranquil view.

We had an amazing stay at casa dos caldeiras! This home is beautiful and is surrounded by the tranquility of nature. Filipe made us feel very welcomed. The fresh bread every morning was a great way to start the day. We highly recommend this cozy home to relax and enjoy the peacefulness of Pico island!

Honestly we couldn't have wished for more. This place is simply gorgeous. So well designed and you can really feel that a lot of love, effort and passion went into the renovation of this place. The owner Filipe was incredibly nice and always available, accommodation was perfectly clean and the location is really good if you have a rental car. Highly highly recommended.
Since we stayed during the winter months the accommodation was a bit chilly (there was only one small portable heating available which we moved around)
