This was our second stay and the second visit and it did not disappoint. Our goal was to kick back and just relax. That is exactly what we did. We enjoyed the beautiful view and abundant wildlife. The house was perfect for us; cozy and comfy. The nearby town of Sequim has all the amenities needed for a fulfilling vacation.

Beautiful setting overlooking a large estuary that fills and empties daily. The interplay of ocean, land and bird life is amazing to watch. A lovely, quiet and serene setting. Also deceptively close to town and stores, restaurants, etc.

Comfortable, spotlessly clean, and well-appointed house/cabin. Spectacular and generous site/grounds. Wonderful host.

The cottage is nicely furnished, very comfortable, great deck and sunroom overlooking the lagoon, the mouth of Sequim Bay, the Strait of Juan de Fuca, Protection Island, the San Juan Islands, and Mt Baker. Incredible views from a well-manicured property. Very private and quiet. One of our favorite lodging places.

This was the second time we stayed at this wonderful place. The cottage itself is so comfortable with everything you can possibly need. Extremely clean. Huge yard and the setting on the inlet is private and beautiful. We were entertained by all the bird life, especially the eagle pair. Deborah is a wonderful host.

Truly special place. Fantastic kitchen stocked with everything you need. Beautiful grounds. Quiet. My kids (12 and 14) loved it and have rated it their favorite Vrbo of all time (and we’ve stayed in lots).

Great cabin and setting. We had the feeling of being on some remote protected bay, yet we could drive to a fine OFC in 5 minutes. The cabin is really well furnished with a great kitchen. Birds and other wildlife abound and we found many things to explore on the peninsula. This is our 2nd stay here and we will return.

Sweetest little house with absolutely stunning views. Close to town but still feels very secluded, very clean and had everything we needed.

Cottage on a private reserve facing a lagoon lying outside of Washington Harbor. Stunning landscape as the tide rolled in and out. Geese and their babies, blue herons, king fishers, bald eagles, hummingbirds on the front deck, and an occasional otter. Beautiful sunsets, Mt. Baker on the horizon, peace and tranquility. All the comforts of home. Attention to detail most rentals miss. Attended the annual Irrigation Festival. What a great community event. Our host, Deborah, was attentive yet so respectful of our privacy. The entire experience will draw us back again. Wonderful, wonderful!

What a peaceful, beautiful spot with lots of safe space for the dog! This was our second visit, and it was every bit as wonderful as the first! Debbie is a gracious host who is quick to respond if we have questions. The cottage was spotless when we arrived, the flowers and bird feeders were full , and so we had lots of birds out in the lagoon, in the pond, and right in front of us! Great restaurants in the area; we especially enjoyed Salty Girls, F ‘n Chips, Lake Crescent Lodge, and Dockside at John Wayne Marina. We’ll be back!!!

This lovely little home is set right on the tidal marsh lands. Ducks, gulls, tiny birds and immature bald eagles, hummingbirds (right outside our windows) visited us. It is peaceful and spectacular. Quiet except for the bird calls. The clean home is cozy, the beds extremely comfortable, and the kitchen is stocked with quality cookware. The enclosed area for watching the birds was absolutely perfect. Great hikes in the Dungeness Nature Reserve, Marymere Waterfall, Crescent Lake. A magical place, even with the rain and overcast skies.

This is our 2nd stay here. It’s the perfect spot to stay in Sequim. Really. So private, so gorgeous, but also really close to downtown Sequim. We spent time hiking/sightseeing & eating in Port Ludlow, Port Townsend, Port Angeles, Crescent Lake, too many nice spots to name!! The place is immaculate, furniture, bed, linens, pillows, etc - all very comfortable, clean & cute. The deck has the most amazing view & you feel as if you have the bay to yourself. We loved being out & about all day, coming back to a drink on the deck chairs and enjoying a quiet, serene, relaxing evening. The house is small. It’s just my husband & I, so it’s perfect. I would say this isn’t the house for large groups/families. Owner immediately responds & check out was very easy. We will be back.

We had a wonderful time at the Burrowes cottage. The best was looking out at Mt. Baker with the snowfall at sunrise! Everything we needed was there, plus the wood fire made everything cozy. We took advantage of the great location and made our way to Dungeness Spit the first day. The 2nd day we just hiked along the trail near the house - the bird life was amazing at low tide! We hope to return next year.

Peaceful location but right next to a dairy farm. In addition, I was charged an additional $60 for a pet fee after checking out even though the listing had NO mention of a pet fee.
Left with a bad taste…Unfortunate.

A relaxing stay in a beautiful cottage. We loved the silence, the birdsong, the constantly changing light, the magnificent trees, and the cozy home. It is so well furnished and stocked, we even found Dijon mustard in the fridge! Absolutely perfect.

This property is a beautiful little jewel. Private with exceptional views of the lagoon and the wildlife on it. The hosts are also exceptional. They check in to make sure everything is as it should be, respond quickly to any questions. And, as a bonus during these tense times, are genuinely kind and caring people. This is our third visit and the place definitely holds a piece of my heart! Thank you Deb and Mark for another wonderful visit!!!

This is a beautiful cottage on a very picturesque bay. Our dog, a lab, loved playing in the yard. We were also able to take her to the private beach on the owner’s property where she could play in the water. We loved our stay so much we have scheduled another visit this winter. Can’t wait to sit in the sunroom, chat with my spouse, and watch the birds and boats go by.

we met the owner as she was leaving and she stopped and gave us lots of great information. The house was just perfect in every way. Her attention to every detail was amazing! This was the best VRBO experience we have had! It's the little things like lovely sheets, great directions, a kitchen that offered everything you needed and everything was in perfect condition. We did not want for anything more! Beautiful spot and great location!
