This was our second stay at this place. There were many improvements from the last time were there. It is also 1/2 a block from St. Cloud Hospital which was really nice!

This is the 3rd time we have stayed at this house. The kids get excited to come to the "garden house" with stashes of games and puzzles, colorful and fun rooms, and raspberries to pick. We love the comfortable beds, being near the neighborhood park, and relaxing in the sun room while the kids are busy playing.

We've stayed here before. The house was clean, comfortable, roomy, had everything we needed. All was as expected.

Only issue was a couple door knobs need to be looked at and some bugs but I’m not from Minnesota so not sure how they do bug spray there. Maybe a walkway from back garage area to home also.
Great home

comfortable, clean, and quite quiet, little traffic noise etc.

Overall we enjoyed the property. Several minor issues: Stove light out. Had to replace both lights in master bedroom nightstands. Bathtub was filthy, we cleaned before kids took a bath. Towel holder in upstairs bathroom fell off. Screens in upstairs bedroom had holes which prevented us to open for fresh air. The cleaning person needs to spend a bit more time in cleaning the floors. With that said, we would stay there again, most of these issue were minor and can be taken care of. We would stay there again next time in St Cloud. The owner was attentive and allowed us to arrive at 1pm rather than 4pm.

House is older and not for people with mobility issues as it has many steep stairs to get upstairs and downstairs. This was not a problem for us and we had plenty of room. Location is good but that is where it unfortunately ended for us. House is NOT clean, black mold in bathroom, sconces and light fixtures had layers of filth and dust webs, dirty dishes in the cupboards and drawers, garbage under couch. I have never had to leave a negative review in all the many rentals I have used and I hate to do it but just feel like I need to make you all aware..hopefully it gets thoroughly cleaned soon.

The property in St Cloud is within driving distance to the campus and restaurants. It has two nice sized bedrooms upstairs with a half bath. The main level has an additional bedroom with twin beds and a full bath. The house was comfortable to stay in. We used the kitchen to heat up soups for dinner and made breakfast in the mornings. The pots and pans could have been better but it worked. For a weekend getaway to see a college student, it was just what we needed.

One of the most challenging things about our stay is that one of our group is severely handicapped. Walking is very difficult. She uses 2 canes and a walker. I contacted the owner and asked about handicapped access. I did not receive a reply.
The outside of the house had not been trimmed. There were broken steps entering the house with the tiles haphazardly stacked on the first step. There were no handrails so she had to use the ledge of the window to help keep her balance when entering and leaving the property. She was unable to bathe during the weekend as the tub entrance was too high and difficult for her to get into.
Overall, the house looked clean, but the screens were tattered and torn. Many windows had no screens. The house smelled musty, and it took a day of airing it to get the smell out. Many of the windows could not be opened. The windowsills were extremely dirty and filled with spider webs. We never could figure out getting into the lock box to be able to use the front door.
Although disappointed, we made it work and spent our time on the main floor and outside sitting at the metal table and chairs without cushions. The basement was the best room in the house but due to her handicap, we were unable to use it. The bedrooms were adequate, as posted in the description. Few outlets in the bedrooms so bringing extension cords would be helpful.

We had a great weekend reminiscing about our college days at SCSU. Went to two hockey games where the Huskies dominated Denver. Home was everything we expected and more.

The house was comfortable with several nice features for kids including games, toys, and puzzles. We had some problems with the sink and the internet which the owners worked to solve. It's an old house with very worn kitchenware and dishwasher, but a great location and met our needs. It was great to have a washer and dryer onsite and be within walking distance of a park.

Big house with room for adults & kids to have some space. Easy location from downtown venue.

We maxed out this property. Having just 1 shower for 8 of us was rough, but it what 1.5 bathrooms means! It was a nice spot with lots of natural light, though we had a hard time opening shades. The dishwasher is kind of falling apart, but the kitchen had lots of handy things. The owners do not want guests usung their personal things so what we could and could not use in the kitchen was confusing. The house was worth it, though, as it allowed us all to be together and cook together. I would rent this property again.

We enjoyed our girls weekend stay at this quaint and cozy house. Quiet neighborhood. Lots of beds to sleep in for 7 ladies. Close to downtown St. Cloud.

So over all we're satisfied. I grew up in St. Cloud and we were renting this home so we could visit with my parents and family that still live in the area. Things we liked: The location was great. Being next to the park and river was great for us with our young children. Their gardens and outdoor space were beautiful. The home had enough space for my family of 4. The king size bed in the upstairs bedroom was memory foam and it was glorious! The linens were provided - a huge space saver in the suit case. They had laundry facilities on site - also a big plus for traveling with small children.Things we didn't: We contacted the owner several months prior to our rental to discuss whether having a gathering of my family at the property on July 4th would be possible. The owner waited until the day we were arriving to contact us back and state that this would not be permitted. We respected their wishes but I was not thrilled they chose to wait until it was no longer possible for us to cancel or consider other options to decline this request. The kitchen was a little funny/spotty in terms of provided cook ware and various cooking items. There were no storage containers and the assortment of implements and pots, pans and things was a little odd. We have rented other homes like this and just didn't have the things we felt like we usually find. The downstairs living room contained a gas fireplace. This is reasonable, but they did not have a carbon monoxide detector down there that we could find. And I was a little unsure if the CO and smoke detectors on the other floors were all working. I did not inspect them individually but I usually see those units blinking or with a constant indicator light that tells you they are powered on and working. This seems like a health/safety concern. We asked it is was possible to turn of the gas supply to the fire place and were told no. I just cracked a window in the basement while we were there to make certain gases weren't accumulating undetected.Window coverings were spotty. The bedroom with the king size bed did not have curtains or blinds that could be closed fully, so we found ourselves waking up with the sun each morning! Some of the blinds in the living and dining room were difficult to operate.Over all a 3 out of 5. The home is also in need of repairs. Nothing about that was a major problem, but it does diminish the look and effect. Patches in the flooring, missing closet doors, peeling paint etc.
