Great location, helpful host

The location of the apartament was great, very close to the city center, shops. IT was possible to park the car on the street near to the apartament for free. The host was very helpful. The check in and check out process was very easy and convenient.

The rooms were dark, without the daily light. We had to buy extra toilet paper and rubbish bags.

Very nice, clean appartment, the host Damiano sent us all information well upfront via Whatsapp, as well as all other details regarding Catania, transport, etc. Location is just great few mins walk from Catania central station, 10-15 mins walk to fish market, close to bus stop to/from the airport, parking on nearby streets for free, apartment itself very clean, well equipped with microwafe, oven, induction, air conditioning/heating, two flat TVs, bathroom had all what was needed, we enjoyed the stay so much, we were even greeted with bottle of wine and croissants by the owner. Totally recommend. Thank you Damiano.

Ottima accoglienza, il proprietario è gentilissimo e pronto ad aiutarti in ogni problematica, e se arrivi dall'aeroporto ti indica come arrivarci tranquillamente senza nessun problema, stanze pulite e moderne. Locazione perfetta, a due passi dalla stazione centrale di Catania. Stanze ben fornite di tutto. Sicuramente ci ritornerò!!

Posizione ottima, host esaustivo in chat per spiegare check in e come entrare in appartamento. Biancheria ok.

Non molto pulita (pavimento sporco, ma lenzuola profumate), avevamo richiesto fattura su prenotazione booking poi ci è stato detto che non si poteva fare. La stanza da letto matrimoniale senza finestre

Several nights in Catania

The apartment is located close to the center of the city and the train station. It can be comfortable for a family of 4 persons. It has air condition. The parking is free on the street if you are lucky to find a slot. The apartment was clean and quite comfortable. What I would change during the next modernization :) I would add dishwashing machine and increase the shower cabin. There are enough space in the bathroom to install bigger shower cabin. If you are not slim you may have issues to get inside :). For other things for Catania it if fine apartment.

We had some problems with water but it is not host problem but the problem of the city.

A very good accommodation close to the center, which offers all the facilities. I recommend this location for any group. The very kind owner was always at our disposal and always gave us the necessary answers. The apartment is very clean and equipped with everything you need.

Not what we were expecting

The apartment was located in an extremely disappointing neighborhood. The apartment owner never met us. The stairs to go to the upper bedroom were dangerous. The 2nd day of our stay we did not had water in the apartment and the owner did not answered our phone calls.

Very clean, good location, very welcoming owner

The apartment was very clean, it had all necessary facilities for staying. Very close to train and bus terminals, which was very important for us as we used intercity bus several times. The owner prepeared gift for us (Sicilian wine) and snacks which is very kind of her. She was very welcoming and everytime in contact asking if everything is going well.

There are steep narrow stairs both outside when entering the apartment and in the apartment itself where you go to the second floor for bedroom, so if you have small children and with stroller, which was our case, it can be inconvenient. But we knew it from other reviews and we expected it. Other things were very good. We enjoyed the vacation in Catania.

Keep away from this place

Close to city centre

1. We arrived at 2 am and few garbage bags were just outside the gate. 2. There was no hot water when we arrived and we had to wait. 3 The outside stares are hard to climb and the stares to the gallery are dangerous and narrow. 3 There was no exstra blanket and no extra pillow. We were cold ar night. 4. The shower is so small I could hardly get in and out. 5. No nife to cut the bread. 6. The price we paid was like a 4 stars hotel but we got a medium class hostel. 7. There is no hotel where check out time is 10 am. 8. There are no towel hangers and no place to put a wet towel 9. Finally the apartment is far from the description we read and not like the pictures we saw. None if the pictures in Booking.com is relevant I suggest Booking.com will check this apartment

Damiano is a great host! He takes care about your stay and is at your disposal during your whole stay. Ready to answer instantly to all your questions via Whatsapp all the time. Apartament is very clean and nice, beds are comfortable. Water is warm. Very well equipped as well, you can even cook there. Also nice gift was given to us. Very cosy place, I definitely recommend!!!

Super nice and cosy apartment. Decorated with good taste. I loved the super comfortable bed and pillows!! Two modern air-condition units perfectly working. Nice and clean bathroom (some pegs would be useful). Many useful things (dishes, coffee machine, fridge with freezer etc). Bottle of water in the fridge was a pleasant surprise. Very close to bus terminal when going to ETNA or anywhere else, its two streets from there. Adding an electric kettle and fixing the broken toilet seat would make this just 120% perfect place to stay ;-) Key from the place is prepared in a locker which you open by a code that the owners sends beforehand so no need to wait for owner's arrival (i find this really super useful!!)

We loved our stay at mungibeddu. It is very conveniently located next to the train and bus station and just a short walk into town. The apartment was clean, spacious and had everything you’d need to have a great stay in Catania. The owner Damiano was very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. I will be recommending this to my friends and will use it next time I’m in Catania.

Sleeplee night because of the heat

Location was good. Easy to visit main sites by feet. The apartment was clean.

The apartment has 2 floors. The upper floor had 1 central airco, but could not get the temperature down at all. this means it was ca 34 degrees in the bedrooms which resulted in a sleepless night. And all doors of the bedroom had to be kept open, since there is only airco in the corridor, so there is a big lack of privacy. The living room and bedroom on the same floor was well climatised.

If we come to Catania again, the address where we will stay is certain.

You can reach the most important streets of the city within a 10-minute walk. The apartment is very clean, comfortable and ideal for large groups when you rent two apartments in the same courtyard. All kinds of equipment are available in the kitchen and bathroom. Moreover, there were also unexpected treats such as capsule coffee and wine. In addition to all this, the host Damiano was the best host I have ever seen. He is more than prepared to make his guests comfortable, you feel safe and comfortable. The fee is quite affordable considering the facilities it provides. In short, you can book these apartments without a second thought. Thank you Damiano.

The apartment is studio type and is fully available (has no common areas with other tourists), recently renovated, located close to the train station and bus station.

On hot days in the upstairs bedroom it is warm and the air conditioning and fan which are located on the ground floor must be kept on at all times. She shower cabin has a small entrance and a fat person cannot enter.
