We enjoyed staying at Norma’s house because it was unique inside and beautiful and the location was a short 15 minute walk to cox beach.

Amazing location and beautifully built home in the middle of a forest and lush front yard. We loved the huge windows in all the rooms that brought the peaceful and gorgeous outdoors indoors. The wooden furniture were pieces of art.

Norma and her son have created a beautiful as well as a comfortable space. The art is a special feature and it is everywhere to enjoy. Walking distance to beaches. We asked Norma for recommendations of what to eat and do, trails not to miss etc....we followed her suggestions and we pleased with each one. A wonderful stay. Loved the ambiance created for our family of five.

We were travelling as a multigenerational family. The owner was very communicative and responsive to emails. She was in no way invasive during our stay, she seems to live nearby on the property. She checked on us on the first and also the last day
The house has lots of little extras that make it better than a hotel. There is an eclectic collection of books. There are books for kids to read and also older adults. There are puzzles for the kids and adults and some games too. We made use of the children's puzzles, children's books and scrabble. If I was alone, I'm certain I would have found a book that I would have read.
There is a comfortable living room for conversation. It is bright and cheery. There are sufficient places for a family to be comfortable.
There is an excellent washer and dryer if you need to do laundry with kids etc. Organic soap was provided, which is great and seemed to be antiallergenic.
There is a dish washer that we made use of to reduce handwashing dishes during our vacation.
The towels provided in the bathroom are really nice and fluffy.
No one complained about the internet, so I imagine it was good.
It was a good location to be able to drive to both Tofino and Ucluelet. Tofino is really close and takes like five minutes to drive to. Ucluelet is a bit further and probably takes about 20 minutes to drive to.
You can walk to Chesterman beach by cutting through a condo area. Chesterman beach is really beautiful.

The place was very warming and comfortable you felt like being at home. Nestled amongst the trees made you feel so private and secluded! Also a short walk to the beautiful beaches we explored! Would definitely recommend

Norma was a great host and house is well suited to 4 friends or a family of 6. House is close to a new bike path and a short 10 minute walk to the South Chesterman beach.. Enjoyed the fire pit and walking the dogs on the path. We felt conformable and we will be back next year.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Norma's house. Everything we needed was there. Beautiful art adorns the walls, painted by Norma herself. A gorgeous indoors and outdoors experience.

Hunkered down in this beautiful place during a snowy wintry 2 weeks in January. Was the perfect base to stay whilst I worked in Ukke and the family roamed the nearby beaches.

Our 6 days here was absolutely amazing. The house fitted our needs and we loved the sunshine that we got on the front deck. The house was very spacious and with two families sharing it, it worked out great! Our host, Norma, was very pleasant and accommodating for all of us. I would highly recommend this place to anyone that wants to stay in Tofino. The best holiday ever!

It is the perfect Tofino experience.
Being our second time in Tofino, we were able to sink more into the spirit of Tofino by staying in Norma’s home. It is simple, beautiful and full of creative spirit.
Cox Bay and Chesterman Bay are short 5 minute bike ride away and if your bikes are equipped with a board rack, you do not need a car for your stay. Biking into town takes 15-20 minutes.
Do not worry about the trailer on the property. All in all it was a perfect Tofino experience.
We will for sure return to this property.
Thank you Norma.
