Located in the quiet neighborhood of Jensen's bay, your home is situated overlooking the bay with spectacular vistas featuring majestic Meares Island and the waterways of nearby Tofino. Expect to see ocean and shoreline wildlife, including eagles and many other bird species, including our daily hummingbird visitors right on the property, while enjoying your BBQ on the wrap around sundeck. Also view from within the home with its unique vaulted ceiling, and panoramic view. Many other bird species, and occasional bears to be seen foraging out on the mudflats, we've even had some very rare wolf sightings in the clearing just 100m across the bay.
Although we are waterfront, there is no beach access.The home is situated on beautiful Jensen's Bay, with low tides, which reveal the tidal flats, and high tides which create a lake=like setting. Just a short walk, or a quick drive over to world-famous Chesterman beach, with its unique shore-walking, surfing, tidal features, storm watching, and enjoying the all the beauty of the west coast.
Tofino by-law requires that all rentals have a resident on the property . Therefore, there are occupants in the ground level suite of this home. They have their own separate entrance, and they do not enter the rental suite, or share any common room with guests other than the laundry room which is on the ground level suite. The upper decks and hot tub area is for exclusive use of the guests, and guests have access to the entire property.
For your supplies and further adventures, Tofino town is just 5 kilometers down the road, with plenty of restaurants, shops, bars amenities, stores and tour operators, where you can charter your fishing, kayaking and whale watching trips, and rent your surf gear.

The house is perfectly located, close to Tofino, Pacific Rim National Reserve and Ucluelet. Very comfortable house with a well stocked kitchen. The big laundry room is a nice plus. Dane the owner was very responsive to all my questions and very pleasant. I highly recommend this place!

Panorama is an excellent vacation rental. We stayed as a family of 6 of all ages and had a wonderful time. The kids learned to surf and we all enjoyed the magic of Tofino. Dane was very quick to answer the one or two questions that we had during our stay. Highly recommend

Having driven through one of the worst winter storms to ever hit BC it was so special to arrive at your lovely home, open the door and be enveloped with a feeling of warmth and welcoming. Nothing is missing in this home, new rain jackets, extra throw blankets, fresh ground coffee etc. We had our two daughters and one granddaughter with us and they didn’t want to leave. We enjoyed some great storms on our beach walks and thoroughly enjoyed the walk in the rainforest. Very supportive owners who responded immediately to any queries. Would love to do another vacation here.

This is a great hideaway from busy life, backing right onto Jensen's Bay. We spent the days surfing, then launched the paddleboards right from the property! Can say enough about our time in Tofino and the great place to stay.

The king bed upstairs was comfortable with a great coffee spot deck for the mornings or star gazing at night. We found the other queen beds less comfortable. Kitchen had all of the amenities you could ask for and then extras that made it easy to bake banana bread.

Quiet escape
We had a great time! It was exactly what we needed. Perfect place for my 3 year old. Super close to town and beaches. Nestled away in a quiet area. My son was obsessed with the biking on the bike path. Cannot wait to stay again!

Lovely Spring Break Stay
We had a lovely spring break staycation in this beautiful home. Very peaceful location, but easy to get to Chesterman Beach and Tofino. We had two adults and three teens who very much enjoyed the hot tub! There is a futon bed in the upper loft area where someone can sleep as well. Highly recommend!

Great place for our Birthday celebration/getaway.
This place was one of the best VRBO’s we have stayed in. The pics really do show how nice the house is. The view out to the
bay was gorgeous especially when the tide was in. Just know that this house is on the quiet side as far as looking at the big waves. The beaches with the surf are just a five minutes drive away.
Check in, directions to property were excellent. The kitchen is really well stocked with dishes, utensils, and spices. Even the coffee was provided. Dane was a pleasure to deal with. Promptly responded to the numerous questions we had. And with Covid-19 raging, Dane was flexible on a couple of things that really enabled us to have our getaway.
It’s about 10 minutes out of town, which was pretty quiet since it was January. Some of the restaurants and pubs were closed since it was January but still had some excellent meals at the Shed, the Long Beach Lodge, and the Wild Side Grill.
So if you’re looking for a great place to stay in Tofino, this is a really good choice

Jensens Bay Getaway
We arrived in Tofino just in time for the ramping up of the “bomb cyclone.” After some very soggy beach walks it was a delight to get tucked into our cozy rental. Our friends we traveled with had arrived ahead and the fire was burning away. The house was as lovely as it looked in the photographs. The kitchen was well equipped and we enjoyed cooking looking out over the gorgeous bay from the kitchen windows.
The house feels so quiet and secluded. The porch was just a perfect place to watch the storms.
The bedrooms were comfortable and linens so white and crisp. Being able to lie in bed and look out to trees and water was really special.
Fortunately the weather calmed enough at one point that we were able to enjoy a drink in the hot tub while watching the wildlife over the bay. Eagles and osprey, and all manner of shoreline birds.
We very much enjoyed our stay and would happily return.

Great stay
We stayed last week at Dane’s place. Easily fit 2 families (7 kids plus 4 adults). Perfectly located within arm’s reach to Tofino, Ucluelet and all beaches and parks with trails. Dane is a super host going way beyond expectations and always accessible for any questions. House is located on the very edge of bay’s shore so you’ll be amazed every morning seeing a wonderful view. House is fully equipped with all appliances, dishes, linens, towels and whatever you may need during your stay, not to mention phone chargers and a guitar. Overall 5 out of 5, definitely a place I’d like to return and 100% recommended to everyone looking for a chill out in Tofino. Thank you Dane and stay safe!

Smart Details made for a Great Stay
Dane and Pat levelled up our stay from great to fantastic! The small touches and details at the Property were fantastic: outdoor shower and wetsuit hanging bar, labelled light switches and instructions, and many more. The location is fantastic for a quiet stay, away from the town traffic and close to Cox Bay for surfing. We enjoyed the hot tub, and giant windows to an exceptional view. Thankful to have found this place, as we have stayed in some excellent places in Tofino in the past too. This property is perfect for families.

Great spot for a family vacation
We really enjoyed our stay in this spacious well decked out house. A good base for Tofino, even though the waterfront is not very usable (as noted in the info) - the tides didn't allow us to make u se of the paddle boards. Very quiet and convenient to the real beaches, which are beautifil. Spectacular sunrises and sunsets. We were lucky there was no foggy mornings. We appreciated accommodation of our dog, and I believe he was well behaved, and left no marks! One suggestion relates to furniture (specifically seating) - for up to 6 people, seating was sparse, both inside and out, but a minor issue. Overall, a great place for a holiday.

Gorgeous view
I have stayed at many VRBO and A@rB@B homes, several in Tofino. This was a top flight experience. The view over the inlet is stunning, especially in the evening. The house is so well looked after and dialled in every way. Communication with the owner was easy. I will absolutely rebook here again. Wow, that view!

This was a great property with everything you need and located close to everything! Great outdoor space and lots of places for guests to sleep! Cutely decorated and great hosts who go out of their way to make your trip amazing. There are tenants downstairs, but don't let that deter you - we didn't see or hear them once.
