Property was clean and well organized. Host met us as we arrived. Outdoor grounds were a treat with a small waterfall flowing into a fish pond. Room was delightful and well decorated and comfortable. Quiet area and there was a small market just down the street. We would return for another stay.

We so enjoyed this perfect spot nestled in walking distance to Mystic history and shopping. The property was lovely and spacious and the colors and nautical decor was so pretty. Special details like a wine table on the outdoor terrace, to the reading nook with local history books were perfect after spending the day out.

The apartment was clean , freshly painted and decorated. It had a small, but complete kitchen as well as a laundry room with washer and dryer. It was located about a mile from down town Mystic and two blocks from a Gourmet market/deli. Over all a nice place to stay. We will be returning to Mystic and will probably stay there again.

We spent Labor Day weekend in this sweet little apartment. Alexis was wonderful to work with; very accommodating and responsive. The location was perfect. Our morning walks into town for a sweet treat at Sift were a highlight of our trip. It’s a beautiful spot within walking distance to everything; no need to drive anywhere.

This nautically themed over garage apartment has everything you need for a great stay. 15-20min walk to Bank Square. We only took 1 car ride the whole time we were there really easy to walk or bike wherever you want to go.

Perfect location for a weekend getaway. A short walk to downtown Mystic and about 15-20min drive to casinos. Studio was well stocked, comfortable, very clean and check-in/out was a breeze. Host was very attentive and easily accessible. Grounds were beautiful and pictures in listing are accurate. We had a lovely time and are looking forward to a return trip.

What a wonderful month I spent at Alexis’ carriage house! Alexis is the perfect hostess, attentive but unobtrusive, generous and accommodating, with an eye for color and a sensitivity for what a guest may need. The carriage house is perfectly located in West Mystic on an historic property, making it super easy to get to all the points of interest. The beaches of Rhode Island, Mystic Seaport, downtown Mystic with its shops and restaurants, are all within reach. The carriage house, which is detached from the main house and nestled against a rock ledge with a splashing waterfall, coy pond, flowering perennials, and towering trees, is a little haven of peace and beauty. Such a pleasure to return to after a day out and about. Peaceful, aesthetic, and homey. Just right for a New England getaway. I’ll be returning here again! Thank you, Alexis for a pleasant and memorable stay in old Mystic!

The property was lovely, we had some fantastic meals and enjoyed walking and shopping downtown Mystic. The walk to downtown Mystic was only a mile or so, but we ended up driving closer and parking. We'll definitely return!

What a wonderful time we had at Alexis’s beautiful property in Mystic. Everything was perfect! The space was so inviting and we really appreciated the great location, the privacy of the unit, the comfortable bed and the high quality linens were an extra nice touch! Alexis was so kind and accommodating and gave us some great suggestions for restaurants (we are still talking about our delicious Italian meal at Hoofs!) We are eager to return again someday.

Mystic is a beautiful town with incredible food...we enjoyed every meal. It's the perfect location for walking down into town for shopping or eating. Great location, walk to town
The unit we reserved was not available to us due to a snafu on the host's part, so we got another unit in the main house. It was clean, well-appointed, comfortable bed and lounger. The decor was not to our liking but that's subjective. Alexis was very nice, provided good info on town. We were disappointed not to get the carriage house villa but we will try again another time!

We had a great stay in this charming one room carriage house apartment. Had everything we needed as a home base. Really good access to Mystic but beyond the crowds. Alexis was a warm and gracious host and checked on us a few times during our stay. We’ll stay here again when we visit family.

Peaceful Retreat
My husband and I enjoyed a weeklong stay at this peaceful retreat. Alexis was easily accessible to resolve any concerns (there were hardly any) and she was a delight to chat with. Plenty of tools available for cooking at home, A lovely private barbecue area, fish pond and waterfall (excellent space for meditation), comfortable bed & Great water pressure in the shower. Definitely get Alexis’s ideas for local excursions.

Alexis Ann has a great little studio to stay in if you want to be close enough to walk to town! Bike walk or drive the other way and you will find yourself at a nice little family beach. This was the perfect place for my daughter and I to have a girls weekend!

This studio apartment was perfect in all ways. My husband and I have stayed in Mystic several times over this summer; however, always in a hotel in the village. This past weekend, we were not able to get a hotel reservation and, so, I booked this studio for my husband and me. I am so glad I did. First, the owner is incredibly gracious and made us feel at home as soon as we drove into the driveway. Second, the apartment is wonderful. Very spacious. Bright, lovely colors. All appliances you will need--large fridge, microwave, baker oven, large Keurig coffee maker. Huge basked filled with luxurious towels. Plethora of toiletries. Beautiful private backyard space with grill and outdoor table and chairs. And my husband and I could stroll into the village in under 15 minutes--which we did several times over the weekend. Going forward, whenever my husband and I want to stay in Mystic, we will first see if this property is available.

If you’re staying in Mystic, book your stay here! This beautiful room is the perfect location to walk into downtown Mystic. From her guest house you can walk right into the heart of Mystic and see the beautiful draw bridge and delicious restaurants. The room has all the amenities and was spotless. This room is atop the owners garage and has your own private entrance with a cute little sitting area in her back yard. Alexis’ hospitality tops it all off. This is my all time favorite vacation location and I will stay no where else than her Ship 2 Shore home. Would recommend this location to any and all.

Really had a great stay with my girlfriend. Walking distance to downtown Mystic, and to the water. Close to casinos and lots of beaches. The apartment is separate from the main house, very private, situated up at the top of a hilly, beautifully landscaped backyard. Very nice decor and array of cool books to boot, definitely recommend!
