About this house rental
If you fantasize about living in a seascape- dreamscape, escaping stress in a space that is singular, spectacular and filled with secrets and shining glass, this is the day to make your epic dream come true. Atop a grassy knoll in the center of Noank, a charming landmark village with beautiful boats, beaches, architecture, small shops, famous eateries, 5 marinas, we find the timeless treasure, The Re-Assembly Hall. This 1902 Carpenter Gothic, former chapel, with its many exquisite, Art Nouveau stained glass windows and tower welcomes us into its rare beauty, spaciousness and serenity. Sitting on the deck of The RAH, we spot boats being lowered into the sparkling water - with wine glass & novel in hand, feel the sea breezes, hear the gulls; start unwinding. Stepping inside, we are wholly transported. A 30 ft. high, open world is lit up by rare, round & tall, flower-full stained glass windows. In this loft of gothic arches, unique, antique and modern art & furnishings, curated yet casual coziness, character, comfort, quirkiness, wood, we are inspired. Our 1742 sq. ft. ship can hold more dreamers; we add beds! This will be our best, most memorable summer! No need to bring much as everything is provided. In unspoiled Noank village, near Mystic and all of its marvels, this 3 minute walk to the Nearest beach retreat with its medieval mystique, quiet and brand-new mod cons has never been open to renter-dreamers before now. Featured in architectural/historical books, this re-assembled, re-imagined seascape-dreamscape is Real. (Noank Village is a charming, very special, separate part of Groton, Ct., a town. Basement is not part of rental. $ month for summer months, May through Oct., Academic year pricing is different, please enquire. Monthlong or more rentals only, due to zoning. Washer & dryer on premises plus pick up/delivery of linens & towels provided gratis. ) Boaters, Beach-Lovers, Beauty-Seekers, Bikers-Walkers, this dreamy rental is for you!
