About this apartment rental
We are in Ajijic village, 4 minute walk to the central plaza, 8 minutes to Lake Chapala Society or to the start of hiking trails, 10 minutes to the malecón (lakeside promenade), close to restaurants.
This apartment is brand new as of 2017. Architecturally designed, contemporary/eclectic style, total indoor and balcony space 74 sq m (796 sq ft) on second floor. Spacious open concept living room/dining room/kitchen. Full kitchen with granite counters. Kitchen cupboards and doors and closets are all exotic-looking solid “parota” hardwood. The living room and balcony face Ajijic Centro and lake (but obscured by unfinished buildings and trees).
Bedroom is a few steps up from the living room, facing our professionally landscaped garden with mangos, bananas and hummingbirds. Queen bed with quality mattress, brick cupola and ceiling fan, high-ceilinged living room with ceiling fan, ensuite washroom with shower, window blinds, Wi-Fi.
There is a mini-split air conditioner, useful in the warm months of mid-May to mid-June. It is in the bedroom, and some of the cooling effect spills into the living dining room. One floor up from your front door is the roofed and furnished rooftop patio, shared with other guests, with spectacular lake and sunset views.
Purified water at all taps. Housekeeping once per week. Enquire about possible indoor parking. Solar-heated salt-water pool and roofed pool patio with gas grill shared with hosts and the two other rental units. No pets or indoor smoking please.
You may ask about secure indoor parking.
We have one well-socialized dog - a terrier mix.
You can also look at our two other Vrbo casitas on the same property - Casita Grande https://www.vrbo.com/982736 and Lakeview Suite https://www.vrbo.com/982781.

Lovely mirador view!
10.0
I just spent two months in the Mirador Loft. I can't say enough good things about it. I was very sad to leave. It is very comfortable, especially the bed and I am picky about beds. High quality pillows, too. The location was convenient walking distance to all of Ajijic. The views from the mirador are stunning, but there is even a peek-a-boo view to the lake from the living room. I even enjoyed the view of the mountains from the bathroom while I brushed my teeth 😁
Ramon is lightning fast with communications.

Great Location In Ajijic Centro
Ramon has two casitas for rent. Both are charming and provide a great location to explore the Lake Chapala area for tourists and future residents like us.

Enchanting Accomodation!
We stayed a month in the mirador casita. Raymon and Susanna were excellent hosts--accomodating, helpful, and friendly. I am a writer and wanted a quiet place to work while having close proximity to daily life in Ajijic. I found it here. The accomodation is first rate with original art work and bobeda ceilings. The parota wood throughout is lovely. My partner and I felt at home here. Great set up for cooking, too. I hope to return in the future.

Wonderful first time in Mexico
As soon as we entered the gate to this property the owners were there to welcome us and took the time to get to know us. They were very responsive to any assistance we needed during our stay. The property and landscaping was beautiful and we enjoyed the tropical setting. The apartment we had was furnished with everything we could have asked for. We can definitely recommend this property for anyone that wants to experience Lake Chapala.

A Very Enjoyable Week
This is a great property in downtown Ajijic, just above the carraterra, but very close to the plaza. One of three casitas on the property, it is situated to catch nice cool breezes and great views. All the things you need to enjoy a stay in Mexico, well furnished, nice kitchen, good bed, etc. We highly recommend this place, and will include it in our next plans to visit Ajijic. Thanks so much, Ramon and Sue!

Very Happy
Ramon is a great host and the casita we stayed in was updated, clean and comfortable. Very centrally located in the middle of a very active neighborhood. You can see fireworks from the roof! We also enjoyed the outdoor pool and meeting the other folks who were staying, in different casitas, on the property. I definitely recommend staying here especially if you want to walk to restaurants, shops and be in the center of local activity!
