About this house rental

La Casita Megandina will create a memorable vacation experience for you and your family. Our house is located in the heart of the Napa Valley only minutes from wineries and world famous restaurants. Our slogan is “Come Experience the Napa Valley Lifestyle at its Finest”. The house borders on the picturesque Ashes & Diamonds vineyard and winery in a quiet residential neighborhood. Guests from around the world have enjoyed staying with us and we would like to share our house with you.

We are one of only a few legal vacation rentals within the City of Napa. As such, strict safety standards with annual fire & safety inspections are required. Our permit and license are displayed in the house along with relevant guest safety information. Maximum occupancy is six people.

Our home is fully stocked with everything you need - just bring your toothbrush and clothes. It has recently been remodeled with high end finishes throughout the house. We have installed solar panels to reduce the need for electricity and reduce our carbon footprint. The home overlooks a large vineyard with views of the Mayacamas Mountains to the West. In the evening, enjoy a glass of wine on the back patio and watch a beautiful sunset over the vineyard and mountains. In the morning, with your cup of coffee in hand, watch colorful hot air balloons drifting down the Napa Valley. The views are guaranteed to delight!

This home was clean, well maintained and great location. We had a wonderful time and I would recommend this location to anyone that wants to stay near Napa downtown for much less and get inexpensive taxi rides to so many great places nearby. We cooked dinner one night and ate out the rest of the nights.

This home is quite lovely. We had a group of five. The house was super clean and the beds, bedding and linens were comfortable and in like new condition. The kitchen is well equipped and there is a very nice grill in the backyard. The backyard has nice spaces for sitting and dining. The property abuts the Ashes and Diamonds winery and is very well located for wine tasting. We had a great experience and our host Lea was great.

The house was the perfect size for six women. Beds and pillows were amazing. The kitchen was nicely stocked. Proximity to wineries and restaurants was perfect. The only thing that may need to be looked at is the en suite bathroom sink. We could only get HOT water to come from the sink faucet.

The home was cozy and comfortable for our group of 6 friends. The beds and bedding were all very comfortable. The best part of the home is the great backyard. The space was perfect for relaxing at night. In the mornings, we saw multiple hot air balloons right in the back yard vineyard. We enjoyed our stay!

This property was perfect for our family vacation. The house had everything we needed. The view from the living room was gorgeous. We watched the hot air balloons in the mornings. The attached sun room made a great place for the adults to hang out after the baby went to bed. Great location with easy drive into Napa or north to visit wineries. We will definitely stay here again.

This property is so great! Centrally located to wineries, roomy, and spacious. The hosts are very responsive and communicative, and were a real delight. The house was stocked with anything you could need, and was lovely. Will definitely stay here when I’m in the area again. Don’t hesitate to book it!

La Casita Megandina is the perfect headquarters for a Wine Country vacation. It's a comfortable, perfectly appointed home that is conveniently located -- you are close to downtown Napa AND the many wineries located along the St. Helena Highway. Everything you need is here. And the backyard views are spectacular! You will indeed see hot air balloons floating by as you sip coffee in the morning! Our group included six adults and we had plenty of room to enjoy both the house and the backyard. There is plenty of comfortable seating both indoors and out. Lea was a great host and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. We highly recommend La Casita Megandina!

The property was perfect for our trip of 6 adults. We had plenty of room. Access was easy to all wineries, restaurants, and stores. Beaitiful backyard and view of winery and hot air balloons in the morning. The house was very clean. We would definitely rebook for our next trip

We had our family of 6 adults staying in the property. The house is fully stocked with everything that might be needed for the stay. Each bedroom was good size, and the living room was perfect for relaxing. The highlight though was the backyard. Plenty of seating and fantastic views over a vineyard. Watching the sun set over the vineyard after a day of wine tasting was a really nice way to end the day. Would highly recommend to anyone staying in Napa.

Our group had a wonderful stay. Everything was as-advertised with the property, and the vineyard views in the morning and evening were wonderful. Conveniently located in-between downtown Napa and the wineries, everything was easily accessible during our stay. Our group looks forward to staying here again!

This home is warm and cozy. Furnishings are top notch. All you need to bring is food and clothing. Centrally located, most activities are within 20 minutes of the house. Beautiful backyard, upgraded amenities. Very pleasant stay.

My Family had a wonderful vacation here. The house is super clean and tidy. The backyard is so beautiful and peaceful. My 2 year-old son loves the swing in the backyard and keeps saying “This is my new cottage!”. We definitely want to stay here again next time we travel to Napa.

We have stayed many times at Napa and Sonoma properties, but this was one of our favorite houses. Clean, very well kept, large enough for 6 adults but yet cozy and accommodating. Our favorite part is the back yard. We spent every morning watching the balloons rise over the vineyard. Beautiful! We will be back!

6 of us from Sacramento. For dinner at French Laundry. Great location close to everything, extremely spacious and well kept and modern. Great great place to entertain. We wish we could stay longer. Highly recommend it.

This home is located in a quiet neighborhood with a backyard view of vineyards. The 4 seasons room was spacious, the living rm/kitchen was a tad small for 5 adults, but was equipped with the essentials needed for your stay. The rooms were a nice size and the beds were comfortable with plenty of clean linens available. It's two full bath, but the on-suite bathroom is small and the heating system (the nights were chilly on this trip) is loud in that room (but not unbearable). Only other small critique is the furniture was showing it's age a bit, but hey you are in Napa to drink WINE! Overall, this property was well prepared for our visit and didn't require us to have to reach out to the owners once! Would definitely stay again.

This was a wonderful home built for entertaining. We comfortably slept two couples and one single in the three bedrooms. The common spaces were plush and comfortable. There are plentiful tables to accommodate eating, board games, and lounging about. The view was lovely and we got some good photos in. If, like us, you are planning an evening at the French Laundry, this is an ideal location. Thanks also for the amenities provided. The ironing board and iron worked well to prep our wrinkled clothes so that we were presentable after travel.

Our family was staying at this property during a family vacation and it was the perfect spot for us to rest and unwind after our long days of touring Napa and wine tasting. We spent a lot of time in the enclosed patio and outdoor pergola. Highly recommend!

This property is perfect for just a weekend or for a month. We were fortunate enough to have stayed 3 weeks and enjoyed every minute of our stay. Very cozy home filled with everything you need. Lea and Steve were amazing and super accommodating. From day one, she was great! We will DEFINITELY be back and will certainly recommend this property to my friends and clients.

The house was amazing and fit our needs perfectly! everything was very comfortable and easy to use. we really enjoyed sitting out back each night and watching the sun set over the vineyards. beautiful home in a excellent central location in Napa. Great layout for groups (we had 3 couples) And a well equipped kitchen for cooking meals at home! Beautiful backyard that backs up to a vineyard and we even got to see a hot air ballon. Thank you again to Lea for a wonderful stay in wine country!!
