Experience the magic of Silverthorne when you stay in this impeccably maintained condo. Ideal for families and couples, this vacation home offers guests a beautiful and comfortable home base, including gorgeous mountain views, for all their outdoor activities, regardless of the season. Located between the Gore Range and the Continental Divide at 9,720 feet elevation, you're at the top of the one-of-a-kind Wildernest neighborhood, which backs up against the White River National Forest, providing plenty of privacy and seclusion.
The interior is spotless and tastefully decorated with light, neutral tones on the walls and floors, accented with colorful art and furnishings. Relax on the chic sofa in the living room and watch a movie on the cable TV equipped with a DVD player. In the winter, warm up with a fire in the wood-burning fireplace (wood is available at any Silverthorne gas station), and in the summer, open the large sliding glass door flanked by floor-to-ceiling windows and let the mountain breeze waft in. Or wander out to the deck and relax in a deck chair while you take in beautiful pines and breathtaking views of Gore Range and Buffalo Mountain. This home also has free WiFi access.
The wood table and chairs is a great place to gather for socializing over scrumptious meals cooked in the well-equipped kitchen - complete with breakfast bar seating. All white standard appliances, including a dishwasher, plentiful cabinets, and counter space, make this kitchen a bright, functional workspace, making meal prep and clean-up easy. Extra perks include complimentary WiFi, a sofa bed for an additional sleeping option, and a shared washer/dryer for your convenience.
You won't have to go far for relaxation and fun, as the Silverthorne Recreation Center is roughly three miles away. Enjoy the aquatic center, play a game of pool while you imbibe from the wet bar, or take up something more athletic like a lively game of racquetball. Head into town for delicious dining at Silverthorne's many restaurants, shopping at the outlet mall and gift shops, browsing art galleries, and treating yourself to a spa day. Enjoy the overabundance of outdoor activities like golf, fishing, hiking and biking, horseback riding, four-wheel driving, and tennis in the summer, spring, and fall. Dillon Marina is only seven miles away, offering boat, canoe, and kayak rentals, world-class sailing, and shopping, surrounded by the majestic Rocky Mountains. In the winter, plentiful cross-country and snowshoeing are right outside your door. Skiing is close by with several major ski areas within reasonable driving distance: Keystone (under seven miles), Breckenridge (15 miles), Copper Mountain (14 miles), and A-Basin (under 13 miles).

Arrived for our 2 week stay with groceries and found the refrigerator was broken. Had to spend a lot of our “vacation” on calls and texts with Vacasa to get minifridges and a partial refund for compensation.
Vacasa is unprofessional and apparently lacks any internal communication. Vacasa is horrible to work with and we caution you before booking with them or booking this unit. We have stayed in this unit before, but unfortunately it is going downhill now. The remote batteries were dead, with no replacement batteries available. The shower drain backed up which caused you to stand in water. One of the toilets barely flushes. The mattress is old and mushy and needs to be replaced. Internet was slow. The pool and hot tub were “out of order” with no explanation of when it would reopen. And the neighbor above us stomped around on the very thin floors on a regular basis.
We would highly recommend staying in another unit that is cared for and not run by Vacasa. Consider yourself warned!

Convenient to trails. Bedrooms well furnished; living area lacks adequate comfortable furniture for relaxing; kitchen well stocked but needed better drawer organizing. Fridge barely kept food cold and ran noisily; light above cooktop works sporadically. Rooms were mostly clean, but visible dust on TV cabinet shelves. Master bath heating unit needs attention: cleaning plus repair or replacement. Especially on cold snowy days to stay indoors it would be nice to have a comfortable seating area with adequate lamps and table. We dug out a table and assembled one that was under the bed. The light color chair and ottoman need cleaning and fresh cushions.

We were delighted to find a well-equipped, clean and spacious condo when we arrived. There was a lovely small balcony with Adirondack chairs for enjoying the afternoon sun. Comfortable bed, bathroom clean with lots of towels and shampoo, etc. The kitchen was stocked with a coffee maker and coffee, filters, crockpot, pots and pans, and new scrub sponges and dish soap. We were pleased to find such thoughtful amenities. The hot tub, pool, sauna and a game room were also available for our use. The area manager was readily available to help with any questions or needs. The area is beautiful too! We would definitely stay there again.

Highly recommend
Loved our stay in Buffalo Villiage and it was better than the pictures. The location was great with hiking trails right off of the parking lot. Amenities like the pool, hot tub, sauna were open and great to relax after a long hike. I would love to stay there again!

Cozy, Clean and Comfortable!
Very tidy and lovely apartment equipped with everything you need. Comfy beds and nice bathrooms. A little dated but the cleanliness compensates. First time renting with Vacasa and everything went smoothly and it was easy to check in and check out. the location was great although when we visited the roads were closed so we had to detour, other than that we had a great stay!

Great location and layout but uncomfortable beds
Location was perfect for skiing, very clean, had an awesome amount of supplies in kitchen, bathrooms, and bedrooms. Only negative was uncomfortable beds which were hard to sleep on.

Feb ski trip
Plenty of room and good size TV, kitchen supplies not cleaned good enough and rented place with wood burning fireplace but no wood supplied. Some lights burnt out. Won’t choose this condo again but would give it a thumbs for renters who don’t care about fireplace.

Nice size, nicely appointed. Needs a few improvements.
Nicely appointed condo, but the bedding is for summer. There are only two blankets in the condo and, even with only two beds in use, it was not enough. Current bedding is summer-weight. Some of the glasses and bowls were dirty and had to be cleaned before put to use. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay.

Hard to find and Cleaning fee is ridiculously expensive
It’s a nice condo once you find it it’s easy to get to and it’s on the main floor you enter so that was easy. Other than that they didn’t de-ice the parking lot or even attempt to. The ice was 2 inches thick and solid. The entrance was treacherous. The cleaning fee is more than the lodging cost. Ridiculous and even if you leave the condo clean you don’t get anything back. Will never use them again and we travel frequently to the mountains.

It was adequate and location good for skiing several areas
Condo was sufficient, howevEr the pool and hot tub were not operational, the heat was not able to be regulated, so we had to have windows open in 20 degree weather. The kitchen floor was very slippery almost to the point of being dangerous. There were no firestarters, so no fire, but that was ok since it was too hot . There was no hair dryer so plan accordingly. And there were some dirty pans in the cupboard, so check those.
Other than those things it was comfortable, TV,s worked fine with lots of stations. And there were some spices and coffee supplied.it was up on the mountain at 9600 feet, so plan for possibility of altitude problems if your coming from Florida or lower altitudes.
There were plenty of places to eat, shop, and drink, nearby, within a 10 minute drive down the mountain.

We enjoyed our stay at this condo! Plenty of room for our family of 5. Appreciated the easy check in. Hopefully the pool & hot tub will be working if we stay here again!

Great place, bigger than expected!
Would definitely stay here again, its a little ways up the hill, but not inconvenient at all. Great size condo, will definitely use again when going on vacation.. this trip was for business.

very clean, but dated
Need more comfortable seating and more lighting. Pillows horrible. Would be nice if first stack of wood was provided. Very quiet in condo. Kitchen well appointed. Overall, condo was not comfortable. Couch hard and lounge chair like sitting on wood. Also, needs a comfy afghan.

First Experience with Vacasa
Searching and reserving was pretty easy. Wish the rental would have reflected what was in the description of what was provided more specifically. Went down to the pool once with kids and it smelled like a mixture of chlorine and pot; not ideal for families.

Great place to have a good vacation

Nice condo .. good visit
While these may not be the newest condos nor be in the middle of the resorts, the condos provide great value with great access to the highways. Buffalo Mountain (a nice hike) is just down the street. Bus route is only a few hundred feet away and the bus passes frequently.
