Great location! Home had everything we needed!
10.0
The mountain house was clean, updated, and well-equipped. The location is super-convenient to all that Summit County has to offer and in a somewhat densely developed area, but once you close the front door, the forest opens up behind you.
We took multiple hikes out the back door, rafted with a check in point 3 minutes away, played in and around Lake Dillon, enjoyed nearby hikes (Herman Lake), and spent time in Breckenridge.
The kitchen had everything we needed and more to prepare a few meals — it might be the most well-stocked of anywhere we’ve stayed both in the quality and range of items provided. We also took advantage of the many local food options in Summit County.
While not necessarily a detractor, future guests may want to know that the house (a duplex) is laid out very efficiently. The loft was a comfortable place to sleep, but not ideal for someone who isn’t sleeping on the same schedule as the rest of the group. The two bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and comfortable.
Lisa was a great host, and amenities exceeded our expectations. We enjoyed both the great outdoors and the comforts of home.

Beautiful location and well furnished home! Perfect place for a family or two couples. Reasonable drive to many ski resorts. Very well equipped condo with everything you need to be comfortable. We particularly appreciated the cook’s kitchen furnishings with high quality cookware. We also enjoyed the peaceful forest views right out the back door.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this condo in the beautiful Colorado mountains. We were impressed by the cleanliness and organization of the condo. It was evident that the hosts had taken great care to ensure that the condo was also incredibly well organized. Everything was thoughtfully arranged such as plenty of bath towels and easy to find, making our stay hassle-free.

This is our second stay at this lovely, peaceful home in Silverthorne and I'm sure it won't be our last. We especially like the location, on the edge of the national forest. Just step off the back porch to hike in the aspens and pines with beautiful vistas and wildflowers galore. Just a short drive to the many stores and restaurants in Silverthorne, Dillon, and Frisco. We definitely recommend staying here for a short or long stay.

The house was wonderful and had everything that we needed. The owner was very accommodating helping with some last minute changes. We loved the location. During our stay we skied at Copper Mountain, Vail, Monarch, A-Basin, Steamboat, and Winter Park.

We come every year- it used to be as part of a tubing trip in Frisco but our kids love all the things to do right out the backyard that the house itself has become the reason to visit. Hosts are always fantastic. Highly recommended!

Great place near everything. Had a relaxing and fun stay.

The house was comfortable, enhanced by the garage and the washer/dryer. It was one of the best equipped VRBO properties I have rented - and I have rented many. By this I mean that it had an ample supply of linens, towels, cookware, food storage containers, dishes, silverware. In addition, those items a renter is unsure of the need for when shopping to stock everyday items for a stay were more than adequate for my 13 day rental - paper towels, TP, soap, DW detergent, napkins, tissues.
Communications with the owner were excellent.

The townhome was exactly as advertised and we found the unit to be very comfortable for our family's needs. Loved the wood-burning fireplace after a cold day of skiing. Also, nice to have use of the garage during our stay. The place had everything you needed for cooking, extra towels, sheets, blankets and pillows. We would stay here again!

Property is convenient and communication was excellent. It has an older vibe to it but has what you need for a family stay. Seemed a little dark, but that may be because we largely spent time there at night. Good for a day or two! Two bedrooms upstairs and the loft area upstairs also has a short day bed for a smaller person. Full bath between the upstairs bedrooms. Downstairs there is a full bath behind the kitchen as well.

I appreciated the updated bathrooms and the kitchen was well stocked with plenty of cooking supplies. The only thing I would want in order to stay again is more comfortable beds.

I highly recommend this property. It was very clean when we arrived and the kitchen is well equipped. We tend to cook rather than eat out and it had every appliance and tool we needed.
The location is convenient for all the mountains in the area (Copper Mountain, Breckenridge,...). Vail is a bit farther. There are also plenty of stores within a short driving distance (in Silverthorne, Frisco,...).
Check-in and check-out process are straightforward and communication was excellent. Thanks for an enjoyable stay!

The house a perfect getaway to enjoy all the near by cities and in a remote location that backs up to the National Forest to enjoy peace and quiet. The house was perfect for a family of four for everyone to have space to chill. From cooking, Cleaning, bathing even ear plugs in the drawer this house had it. The pots and pans were the same brand I use at home. No expensive spared to make the guest feel at home and welcome. The owner of the property was the best. Easy to communicate with and very quick to replay. I will say the house is high up in the mountain but the roads were maintained great. The home owner even made sure the drive way was maintained everyday.

My husband and I and our daughter and son-in-law had a fun 2 days here. It’s a very comfortable clean home with a well supplied kitchen. What we enjoyed best is the location. You can walk out the back door and enjoy hiking so easily. It is also very close to the restaurants and stores in Silverthorn and Lake Dillon.

This property was perfect for us and our trip. Lots of room, very comfortable beds, and a well furnished kitchen. The newly remodeled bathrooms were very nice, clean, and beautifully done. Loved the fireplace also. Location was great. Secluded enough for privacy, but still just minutes away from town to make running out for essentials fast and easy. Really enjoyed our stay and plan to book again on next trip to Colorado!

WOW, what a great location, wonderful house, stocked kitchen, comfortable.....EVERTYTHING. We really enjoyed the view out the back and saw (2) moose at the crossing of Burgundy and Poplar. Who knew!!! Thank you house owners for making this a trip that will be forever remembered.

The home is super close to everything in Silverthorne area and also in the woods -- I skied from the house into a nice long trail system. The owner was super responsive and kind with all our questions before and during our stay.

The location is perfect for the purpose of our trip — skiing; the condo was clean and nicely decorated. Our only concern is that the clothes drawers were not easy to close after we put the clothes inside.

Lisa was easy to work with and very accomodating.

The house was clean and well maintained. All the expected amenities were there and functional, just as described. The best part about this place was the location- step out the back door right into the forest for a walk or play in the snow. It is far enough away from the highway that you can hear some noise but it isn't intrusive at all. Overall a real gem.

Beautiful property! The pictures don't do it justice. The beds were very comfortable and perfect base camp for trips to Breck. Looking forward to coming back. Book this property, you won't regret it.

The house was clean, cozy, and comfortable. Any issues we had were quickly answered by the homeowner. It is close to shopping, good restaurants, and stores. We chose to drive to Keystone resort, even though there was a bus close by. Out the back door are trails that connect with some long hiking trails. Very pleasant stay.

Incredibly Clean! Spotless and super comfy. Privacy with National Forrest out back as the view. Awesome customer service! Stayed over Christmas and Lisa put a live tree base in the garage and marked trees we could cut down for Christmas. Upgraded Bathrooms - 2 showers with a tub for the little ones. Awesome wood forts out back in snow. Grill on back porch. Lisa constantly helped us ensuring plowing was done, and with advice on places to go local and helped with safety during winter storm. Just an amazing and very relaxing week with room for all 3 kids and 2 adults plus a local family guest on the pull out couch. Fast Xfinity internet with plenty of cable channels and DVR. Kitchen had everything we needed. Wonderful White Christmas - #1 VRBO experience we have had!

This property was ideal for a multi-generational getaway. Quiet, peaceful with great views - and (surprisingly) a well stocked kitchen. It was close to restaurants, stores, etc, yet far enough away to be off high traffic areas. close to hiking, biking and all sorts of outdoor activities. Wonderful stay!

Lisa's property is just as described. Everything was clean and comfortable. The "back yard" was beautiful and very relaxing to experience. We even had a moose and her calf come down the trail right behind the house. Excellent property, well managed.

Perfect location to enjoy Silverthorne, Breckenridge mountains and trails. House is very well stocked and comfortable. We enjoyed all the nature and scenery out the back door including the ability to hike right off the back deck. Would definitely come stay here again.
