This cottage was perfect for our week stay in Boothbay Harbor! We were close to town and the shops and great little restaurants to eat. The cottage had all the amenities we needed to cook and we had fun playing some of the games. We enjoyed having our coffee on the deck each morning and listening to the ocean.

An old- fashioned cottage which is what we were looking for. Very comfy cozy. There is nothing that you will need that is not there for your use, for the kitchen, bathroom and even a work desk. Would definitely rent again.

my husband and i rented this home as a way to relax for a few days. everything was perfect. the location could not be beat. the proximity to town allowed us to come and go and not feel like we needed to plan for the entire day at one time. The kayaks made for a fun escape on the water each day (we even chased a seal around one afternoon!).
Thank you for a perfect vacation!

Great Coastal Cottage!
Quaint and well-stocked cottage with a beautiful and private property with water view and access. Everything was in working order and well-maintained. Location is superb for access to the Harbor/town and for day trips out of the area. Owners were super-helpful with local recommendations too. We'd certainly return another time.

great little getaway
Cute cabin with water access. Inside is a bit small, but had all we needed (family of 4). Thoughtfully stocked, and very clean. Instructions were clear. Loved being able to walk down to the water anytime! Just a short drive to downtown but really feels "off the grid."

Exactly what we needed. The property is as advertised. So very clean! Very well equiped, you won't need to hunt anything down.
The location is quiet, convenient and beautiful. Access to water definitely a plus. Julie & Andrew share their home with pride, good taste and honesty.

This is an enjoyable and relaxing place to stay. Proximity to the water as well as the grounds are quite relaxing. They create a tranquil atmosphere of a quiet vacation. We really enjoyed it. The tide variations are remarkable in that when it is out there is hardly any water. Unfortunately this was at all too often at times when we wanted to sit at the dock. Of course this is out of anyones control. But we still enjoyed the dock and watching birds and once a seal or possibly sea lion stuck its head out of the water. We had looked forward to biking but the area is not really conducive to this (for us) due to the hills. That and no real accessible bike paths pretty much took that option away for us. Between safety concerns and riding unfamiliar bikes on narrow roads was a downside for us. But there are incredible hiking areas nearby with the Boothbay Reserve Land Trust. Those were quite enjoyable with various habitats to explore. The Coastal Maine Botanical garden is a real GEM. A must see that was one of the high points for us. Our day trip to Pemaquid Light House was a highlight. It is a beautiful drive and a lovely place to hang out. The lighthouse, the rocks, the view is all worth the $3 pp admission fee.The cottage is comfortable with all of the necessary amenities. And the owners were always accessible if there were any questions. We would stay here again if the opportunity arose.

Perfect getaway!
I have only good things to share about this experience. The cottage was charming with many unique design and decorative features. There is a covered and uncovered large deck that was perfect for summer reading and dining. The dock was most special-we loved our early mornings drinking coffee on the dock, kayaking and then returning for a moonlight glass of wine. The location is perfect as well. We could easily access the water, an amazing assortment of restaurants, hiking trails and light houses. Every day was an adventure with ample time to relax. The cottage is equipped with all of the comforts of home, yet maintains that rustic feeling that one yearns for during a Maine vacation. We will definitely return! Many thanks to the owners for offering such a lovely serene setting for our vacation!

Comfortable holiday stay
We had a great time during our stay! The cottage was well taken care of and had all the comforts of home. We enjoyed taking the kayaks out for a paddle and sitting on the deck and looking at the water. The place was clean and it was convenient that the linens were included. We hope to come back next year!
