About this cottage rental

This beautiful old stone cottage (circa 1920) has been created into a beach retreat only a short stroll away from all the fun. A great place to unwind and relax and great walks close at hand. Only 400 metres to Long Beach and the beautiful meandering coastal path into town.
Williamstone Cottage has 3 generous bedrooms. 2 Queen bedrooms with solid 1 foot thick stone walls and gorgeous high ceilings, and the 3rd bedroom with 2 single beds.
The bathroom has a claw foot bath and separate shower. The central focus is the light filled lounge area with Smart TV, large couches and a wood fire for cosy nights. Wireless broadband internet provided.
The galley style kitchen and dining overlooks the private backyard which is fully enclosed and surrounded by beautiful old shrubs and fruit trees that provide shelter from the coastal elements.
Dine in style in the separate eating area. Double French doors open out to the paved outdoor entertainment area with BBQ and Market Umbrella in the summer.
We are dog friendly, one dog per booking unless prior arrangement.
The front verandah is gorgeous all year round. Cups of tea, lunch and afternoon drinks in the sunshine. In the summertime the shade from the trees is glorious. There is a small above ground water feature with statue in the front garden.
Williamstone Cottage is sure to impress all of its guests with is rustic charm and endless relaxation opportunities.

We had a lovely long weekend at Williamstone Cottage, days reading in the sun in the garden and nights in front of the fire. Very much appreciated the fully fenced back garden which allowed everyone to relax not worrying about a dog getting out! A beautiful home for a very much needed relaxing weekend away.

Beautiful cottage with a great feeling of love. Great attention to detail with plenty of space to enjoy. Sitting on the front verandah with a drink and nibbles, under shady trees, taking in the water feature and bird life in the evenings was a great way to unwind. Thank you for sharing your holiday home with us.

This cottage was perfect for my husband and I and our dog to have a wonderful relaxing stay in Robe. Cottage provided all you need for a great stay, rooms were comfortable and we loved the old charm of the cottage. The backyard was fully fenced and our dog enjoyed running around. Location is perfect to walk to Long Beach or into town via the main road or the coastal trail. Jo was great to deal with and we would stay again if we are in Robe.

Only 10 minutes walk from a beautiful beach, very comfortable historic cottage with everything we needed for our stay. Not walking distance from town otherwise a perfect place to stay. Great backyard for our dog.

Really enjoyed staying at Williamstone Cottage. The supply of split red gum was fantastic and the coonara wood heater burnt beautifully and kept the house warm. Beds were very comfy and warm. Great location, easy to walk to the beach and only a 1min drive to town. My dog loved sniffing around the garden and it was great having a place that allowed her inside. Highly recommend!

Property Presentation below average Its an old property and it shows. Airconditioning/heating is noisy. Wood fire is adequate but given it rained a lot while we were there it would have been appreciated if the woodpile was undercover. Location is average with a short car trip required to the centre of town. OK but not great value for money.

My family had a wonderful time at Williamstone cottage. A fabulous location and we had everything we needed for an easy and relaxing stay. Very comfortable beds, great backyard for cricket and a short walk to spectacular Long beach. Communication with the owners was fantastic and I highly recommend staying here. The only downside is we stayed for a week rather than 2!

Having stayed in Robe many times, Williamstown cottage takes the cake and was the perfect getaway home! The enclosed backyard was perfect for us and our doggo. The kitchen is well appointed with utensils for cooking and the house was warm, cozy and relaxing. After a week, We didn’t really want to leave. We are missing the blue wrens and the front porch already! Thanks so much for having us Jo. We will definitely be looking to return :)

Williamstone Cottage truly felt like home away from home. It is decorated beautifully with art, rugs, mirrors and lamps. The kitchen is very well-equipped, the beds are super comfortable and the garden and front verandah are perfect for lazy afternoons and meals. We loved the trees especially the very old peppercorn tree near the back gate. The cottage is an easy flat 5-10 minute walk to Long Beach and we walked into town and back along the very scenic coastal walking/bike trail. We really appreciated the privilege of having our dog with us too - thank you!

I walked into this cottage and just kept saying "I love it" . And that sums it up. We had such a great time in this cosy, warm, and tastefully decorated little haven. And the back garden was so safe for a dog- could just relax. HIGHLY recommend

The house was well presented and clean with a lovely garden. Unfortunately it is located on the main road leading into Robe which is quite busy during the day. This is not a problem at night so noise is not an issue then. An enjoyable stay.

The cottage is simply delightful, a complete change from home! Walking in to this charmingly eclectic space after a long drive is both comforting and instantly relaxing. Small and considerate touches such as the lamps being left on and jazz music playing in the background bring instant relief to the weary traveller! The cottage is very well appointed and spotlessly clean. The old front verandah overlooking the water feature and garden is a perfect place for reading. Loved it all!

we really enjoyed our short stay, it was a lovely little cottage, a great place to just relax and enjoy the garden and birds..The only minor thing we found was the lack of coffee and no soap for shower. it was otherwise perfect.

My friends and I really enjoyed our weekend away at this cottage. It's the perfect distance out of town and to the beach. The only issue we had were some dead bees in the fireplace, but apart from that the cottage is very charming and we would stay there again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our weeks stay at this most charming cottage. This is our second stay and we again found everything we required including very comfortable beds and couches to relax on. Everything is well thought out to ensure guests immediately feel welcome and so relax. Our 2 little pups love the yard to run in and enjoyed their stay as much as we did. Certainly recommend this charming cottage for a break in beautiful Robe.
