We booked super last minute because we were not happy with where we were staying. Courtney was SUPER helpful and responsive. The property was perfect. Everything was clean and we were greeted with a fruit basket and coffee. We had access to two pools and there was beach access a short hike down the mountain. Our casita was cleaned everyday which was incredible.
It is important to note that this listing was not where we stayed. We were in a different unit. BUT we knew that before we booked. We loved our casita and would definitely stay there again if we visit this area. Our stay was magical.

Las Palmas was very beautiful and well kept. The views from our bedroom balcony was breathtaking. It was very nice to be able to come back and relax in a private pool after being around other packed tourist attractions all day long. Oscar was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the area. He took care of taxi services to all the places we wanted to go. It is a pretty close walk to La Entrega beach. It’s about a 10 minute drive to the store and downtown. Get everything you need when you get there or they have a list you can choose from for pre-grocery shopping. We would definitely go return.

Nice architecture, and excellent location... short walk to two very different beaches. el violin is pretty rugged and hard to get down to .... excellent snorkeling off this beach, not really for the beginner. La Entrega beach is great for beginners and lots of food options. The condo was clean and well kept and nice environment overall.

This is the third time we have stayed at Las Palmas, and in the same casita - Spanish Bay - and it is still as wonderful as ever. The welcome basket of fruit and coffee was a treat. There is always a big jug of water, which is replenished as needed. The cleaning/sanitizing protocols are excellent. It is perfect if you are looking for a beautiful place to stay, with some privacy, but only a short taxi ride into town. Oscar is the amazing concierge, who will help you with anything - activities, dining reservations, taxis, etc., and will spend time visiting with you, which is so nice. Unfortunately, due to the Covid situation, there were not a lot of guests, so not as many people to socialize with, so it was kind of like our own private boutique hotel. We still really enjoyed it, and would go back there in a heart beat, and would recommend it to others going to Huatulco.

Un lugar para descansar
Un un hermoso lugar con abundante vegetación, sólo falta mantenimiento en los balcones... Consideró que es importante para poder conocer la ciudad rentar un vehículo

As the title of our review states, we weren’t very impressed with the property. When we were driving there from the airport area, we called to confirm the directions, but no one answered. We did finally arrive, rang the bell and were let in, but there was no one there immediately to tell us where to park or unload our luggage. The check-in process seemed a bit casual, although the concierge did want to make a copy of our credit card (strange), as well as place a deposit on the card (understood). When we checked out, the concierge toured the room and told us that everything was in order (which it was), but I did receive a 5 cent charge from the property after we left, not sure what that was for? Getting in/out of the property always seemed challenging as the gate was closed most of the time and required you to notify the concierge. The condo itself was a bit dated, the décor and furnishings have seen better days. The showerhead in the master bath was just spitting out water (clogged), which the maid fixed. At one point, the cable TV went out for a day or so and even though the concierge came to check it out, he agreed with my Spanish translation of the error message on the TV screen, the bill hadn’t been paid, although that was later remedied. The property listing says internet, but the only wi-fi service was in the palapa area and even at that, was weak. I was on a working vacation and couldn’t get much work done.
There were quite a bit of repairs taking place during the day, with the corresponding noise. Another party occupied the property directly above ours for the last 2 days we were there and you could hear every footstep, chair movement and associated noise right through the ceiling. Very unnerving.
Violin beach was nice, but I don’t recommend going down the dirt path behind the property as it is very challenging and potentially dangerous. Go out to the road and enter where the locals enter the beach, it will cut your hike in half. Playa Entrega was a very nice swimming beach, but be prepared for parking challenges and pushy locals trying to get you into their enramadas (beach restaurants). Our working vacation wasn’t all bad, we did rent a boat and toured the various beaches for a full day, which was a nice excursion for us and our puppy. We had many nice meals at the local restaurants including El Sabor De Oaxaca, Oro Negro and a big shout out to Obama @ Jessymar, best food on the beach in the Bahias de Huatulco.

Huatulco is an amazing place and a well kept secret. So much to see and do and such incredibly friendly people. As far as the Las Palmas resort near Playa Entrega is concerned, prepare yourself for paradise. Everything about the resort is focused on relaxation. The rooms are spacious. We stayed in one of the casitas which are actually one bedroom apartments. Very comfortable. The staff was extremely helpful. Special shout out to Oscar and Omar for all they did for us.

Our best winter holiday
We just returned from having our best winter holiday ever.
What made this trip extra special was this amazing gem that we stayed at.
Las Palmas lived up to (and surpassed) all our expectations.
Everything from the quality of our casita, the view, facilities and particularly then staff was excellent.
We were so impressed that we already booked our spot for our next years winter get way.

What a fantastic jewel to find. Thrilled to be be here. This property is triple fantastic with a great flow through the compound. The on site staff are super friendly, helpful and speak English very fluently. When we stumbled upon this place we were greeted by Ceasar who was very helpful to find a place for us within the property. The next day as we came to check in, we met Talina and having never met us before and only having a small reference from Ceasar, she took great care to get us settled in. We also had the great treat of stumbling upon and meeting the property owner Ron as well. Another super pleasant surprise. I could just go on and on about details, instead I'm going to close with this; this place is beyond fantastic in all aspects of the word Fantastic. We drove around and looked at lots of places and Las Palmas was the natural fit. Enjoy !!!!

If you’re looking for a peaceful, relaxing, and beautiful place to vacation, Las Palmas is the place! My boyfriend and I stayed her for a romantic getaway and cannot wait to go back. We stayed in one of the casitas, which was not only beautiful, but comfortable as well. The staff at Las Palmas are so helpful, and are always there to help in any way needed. Neither of us spoke Spanish, but the onsite concierge was so helpful and bridged the language barrier. The grounds are gorgeous and immaculately maintained and there are amazing views from every vantage point.
Whether you are adventurous or simply want to relax, Las Palmas and the surrounding areas have so many activities to offer. There is white water rafting, ATV riding, beaches, hiking, and amazing food! And of course the pools and beaches at Las Palmas are always available.
We had such a wonderful week it was hard to come home. We will recommend Las Palmas to all of our friends and family and cannot wait to return.

I have never relaxed like I did the week I stayed in the Las Palmas Resort. My wife and I stayed in one of the Casitas and with the sounds and views of the ocean all around Las Palmas and the beautiful landscape inside of Las Palmas it made it very easy to relax and clear your mind of all worries. Each Casita is very private feeling. Even with all the other Villas and Casitas filled with other guests my wife and I felt like the only guests in Las Palmas. There are so many fun things to do in the town of Huatulco like Golf, Bars, Restaurants, and white water rafting but we didn’t leave Las Palmas very often just because of how relaxed and comfortable we felt staying in the casita.

Both the area and the property are world class. We were slightly concerned about traveling in Mexico with all the news scares recently, but we felt 100% safe in Hualtulco and the surrounding areas our entire stay. The staff and locals were extremely friendly and made us feel at home. Las Palmas itself is hard to describe in words alone. The accommodations, pools, palapas and landscaping are immaculate, to the extent we didn't even want to leave to go explore. With an abundance of coves and beaches with unbelievable snorkeling we could not believe how uncrowded these areas were, to the extent we thought we were in a private resort. During our stay we went on ATV tours, white water rafting, jungle and waterfall tours, with the highlight being watching the turtles hatch on the beach and run to the sea, a sight that i will never forget. Best of all on the onsite concierge can arrange all this worry free for us. I will definitely be back and more than likely stay in one of the extensive villas and bring our friends and family to experience this paradise.
