The pet fees were crazy high compared to hotels. For this reason, we would not stay here again. It was a lovely condo with a great location. We enjoyed the deck out front. The dogs loved it. The bed was very comfortable for us both. We had a fun birthday weekend. A few things could be improved on which I passed onto the company in my private review, but nothing that made our stay bad. Thank you for letting us stay and enjoy your place.

I left a review on vacasa. Nothing bad, but a few things that need updating or maintenance. We would stay here again, but pet fees were crazy high and will not stay again due to this.

Great for a long weekend getaway.

Very comfortable and a perfect location! One block to the beach and walking distance to everything else.

The location was great. The townhouse inside was also pretty nice. Unfortunately we had issues with both TVs - we were not able to connect them to the internet or streaming services even after asking for help.

We stayed at the Orca Bay townhouse in January for a cozy, winter getaway. Almost everything about our stay was great. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. The location was absolutely perfect and we enjoyed walks to the beach and to the downtown shops and restaurants. The only thing that would have improved our stay was a more comfortable downstairs couch. It really was not comfortable to sit or relax on - at all. This probably isn't an issue for those visiting during the summer months and spending most of the day at the beach. But since we were visiting in the winter, we didn't spend a lot of time outside and were really looking forward to relaxing, reading. etc. on the couch. And it just wasn't comfortable. Additionally, there weren't any blankets to be cozy with, except for the actual bedding on the bed. Other than that, our stay was very enjoyable. Also, note that as mentioned in the listing information, WIFI wasn't great upstairs.

The place is ok and nice. The interaction with Vacasa was scripted and standard, no personal interaction. We left something in the townhouse and waited almost 2 hours for cleaning to come. That is after several text messages and we finally called Vacasa and received a response. Not a pleasant experience.

It was very tight for my family of 4 but it was very clean, had necessities, and was walking distance to pretty much everything from food to the beach.

The property was perfect sized for 3 of us. Very comfortable, super close walk to the beach, nice mini kitchen.

Close to the shops, restaurants and the beach. Very centrally located for walking. Breakfast place is about two minute walk. Bed was very comfortable. Only pet peeve was the fireplace. The presto logs provided don’t heat the room. We did stay during a very cold and snowy few days. The electric heat worked fine though.

Great location. Very Clean. Wifi need to be stronger. TV selection was weak. Need ESPN at least.

The unit was small but very adequate for our purposes. It was clean and safe feeling in the neighborhood for a dog walk at night. It is close to action at both ends of the town (walking distance) and a very nice walk looking down at the beach. Lots of good energy in the town. The only downside was the parking space was difficult for our station wagon to maneuver.

Lovely place and will be coming back again. :) thank you for sharing your place with us.

Vacasa and the property owner refused to refund me my money. The cancellation policy requires at last 7 days notice. The weather was snowy and the pass to get to the house was closed due to icy weather so I physically could not get there. They refused to refund me and refused to let me reschedule for another weekend. Horrible company and I will never book a house with Vacasa again.

Perfect size, good kitchen, close to beach and town. Very quiet. Next time we will bring some presto logs for the fireplace. Like a home to us!

Clean, comfortable, and well equipped townhouse in a great location that makes all parts of Cannon Beach walkable.

We had to leave early due to the unsafe conditions the slick cheap flooring created for our dogs. The home was ok, and a good location to town, but the laminate flooring throughout the entire house was very slick and the stairs were extremely steep. Even with assistance, as well as placement of towels and blankets on the floors, the dogs were sliding and falling everywhere. We had to leave early and check into a hotel for the rest of our stay. The home was also very cluttered with not much space to move about downstairs.

This was the perfect amount of space for my husband and I and our two dogs. The place was clean and comfortable, and the location can’t be beat. We spent more time inside than we had planned due to bad weather, so we took advantage of the fireplace and TV (has a Samsung box with smart TV/app capabilities). We like to be able to walk everywhere and go out to eat when we are away so this place was great for us. if you are wanting to cook and spend a ton of time inside it might be a little tight, especially for more than 2 people. I was worried about the poor reviews of the bed because I am very pregnant and pretty particular. But it was just fine, we have definitely experienced worse.
The only issue we had was not being able to figure out how to turn the shower water on, turns out the knob is just reallllllly tight and you have to pull extremely hard. Fortunately we contacted management and they had maintenance stop by fairly quickly to help us. He said he would notify management to loosen the valve. Thanks Steve!
Overall we would stay again for a short trip.

It was smaller than I expected but very comfortable. It was an easy walk to downtown and the beach was only a block away.

This property is where you want to be. Quiet and convenient to everything. Dedicated parking. Exclusive feeling space.

Loved the location. I did reach out to the property manager and communication was quick and friendly. The place looks “higher end” in the photos than in real life, but it was a good stay.

Smoothest booking process and had zero complications! We needed a relaxing break and Vacasa made it so easy to get everything in order. The little home was charming and clean! And We walked everywhere because our house was so close to everything! Wonderful stay, 10/10 would recommend!

Location was great for this townhouse. Easily walkable to beach and shops. Place was fine for 2, might be a bit tight for 4 adults. King bed was uncomfortable, woke up to stiff backs. Seating downstairs was not comfortable but we didn’t spend much time inside. Nice balcony to sit out on for afternoon. Got a bit stuffy inside but there were enough fans to keep air moving. Good spot for a quick trip.

Condo was not clean and needed work inside and out. The was convenient. Furnishings were impractical.

The townhouse is comfortable for a small family, great location and has everything you may need but it is not well maintained. Broken foldable table, top of fridge and windows frames were not cleaned in months, there is a sign asking to take off your shoes but the floor was very dirty and have to change my socks after the first hour there! Bed is just ok, too firm. No salt and pepper provided which is usually something you always get in rentals but cleaning lady was able to provide the next morning. Plenty of towels, soap, shampoo and conditioner. Well equipped kitchen but cookware was incomplete (no pot lids). With a bit of more dedication this could be a wonderful place but it needs some repairs and better attention to details.
P.D: It has a very good first aid box!

Great location! Close to shopping and a block from the beach! Small condo, but perfect for a couple of friends or a small family.

This little townhouse was just what I needed for my pup and I to spend a couple nights near the coast. I would have given this five stars for location, pet friendliness, and cleanliness (though it's noteworthy that there are no cleaning supplies on site - so if you are prone to spilling things on the counter or floor, bring your own cleaner! I've never stayed in a house that didn't have some supplies for cleaning up, since spills do happen, so I found that odd), but I had to take one star off because the unit next-door was being remodeled... loudly... starting at 7am (before the sun was even up!) and the workers left midday, but came back in the evening and worked/clamored around until 10pm. I get that it is the off-season and repairs/remodeling has to happen at some point, but it is only courteous to wait until at least 9am to begin work and end before nightfall, especially when people are spending their vacations here. I specifically wanted to rest, sleep in, and have some peace and quiet. It was really disappointing to have the rest and retreat I needed be so disrupted by construction work in the unit on the other side of the wall.

The location is great, one block from the beach and walkable distance from the groceries, stores and restaurants, easy access to the road. Good size for a small family. Kitchen was poorly supplied for someone who wants to cook a simple meal. Remember to bring your own wine opener! TV won't connect to internet, so you can't stream. Communication was not super easy, linens and blankets for the downstairs bed were missing and we only got replacement on the following day end of the afternoon.

Great place. Has all you need and close to town. Only complaint, is it has the most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept on.

We loved our stay! Easy to run laundry & the dishwasher, makes it really convenient when your socks get soaked from the long beach hikes. Heating worked really well, it was definitely nice and toasty for a November visit!

Nice and cozy with a short walk to both the beach and downtown.

We walked to the left to a great coffee shop, a good restaurant, and beach access. We walked to the right to downtown. No need to drive our car.

The Beaches Orca Bay Townhouse was very nice, clean and well located in Cannon Beach.
8.0
This is a great little townhouse attached to two others (three total) that is very convenient to everything downtown Cannon Beach AND the beach itself. Once parked, you don't need to drive anywhere if you don't choose to. Stores, restaurants, beach, shopping.. all convenient. The reason I don't give a 5 star is twofold: the bed. The mattress is shot. If one of you sleeps in it you will end up in the middle. If two of you sleep in it, you both will end up in the middle trying to sleep on top of each other or claw back to the edge. The fold-down couch in the downstairs living area is not much better, it might be ok with a thick pad under you. Also, for us, the stairs need to be addressed: This is NOT for people with any sort of disability, or difficulty with a long steep uninterrupted flight of non-carpeted stairs, with the only bathroom being upstairs... Ugh. Our sweet older dog fell partially down these steep stairs within an hour of our being there, and after that she just stayed downstairs--we blocked her path when we'd go to bed. She was very sad not to be with us. Probably won't stay here again because of that, even if the mattress is replaced. If you are agile, surefooted and don't need much sleep, this is the place for you! PS in a place so small, the decorative ceramic vases just get in the way. We ended up tucking them in closets and on shelves to not have to worry about knocking them over....

I loved it, my children and my pets enjoyed it very much, it is very comfortable and complete, that is what I need on my vacation, I will return soon
