Our stay was excellent. David and Diane have thought of everything. Great amenities, and attention to detail. The stairs are a bit difficult if mobility is a concern. We would definitely return to this interesting home and peaceful back yard.

Our stay was so perfect and comfortable. They thought of everything you could possibly ever need. Beds were comfortable. The solariums were nice spaces. There was plenty of room for each of us, from gamers to toddlers to late sleepers and early risers. The hosts were the NICEST and SWEETEST people with empathetic hearts and adoring souls. Lovely people and a wonderful stay! We’re already planning our next trip back!

This is a great property if you are looking to be really close to Garden of the Gods, Old Colorado City, and Manitou Springs. We relaxed on the many cozy porches after long days of sightseeing. Dave and Diane are great communicators and the check in process is so smooth and easy. We love this place and can’t wait to go back!

We were traveling with our three kids so we wanted to be in a safe area but also close to some of the attractions. We enjoyed the welcoming feel to Dave and Diane’s home. It was very clean with lots of different seating options inside and outside. The two youngest enjoyed the tree swing and some of the toys in the loft. If I had questions, the hosts were super quick at responding and always helpful. We will recommend them to anyone who is vacationing in Colorado Springs.

We loved our stay in this beautiful home. Quiet neighborhood and just minutes away from everything we wanted to see! It was a very spacious home for our family of 9. Everything you need is right at your finger tips. The kitchen has everything we needed to cook a meal. And we enjoyed the deer that decided she wanted to stay a few nights with us too chilling in the front yard! Lovely home and would highly recommend.

We greatly enjoyed our stay! The location was wonderful and the house had all we needed for our group of six. The kids enjoyed the toys and board games, and the internet and office space worked well for the few days I had to work virtually during our stay.

Spacious, nice house with warm, familial touches in virtually every room. It was a great place to share a family meal, plan the next day's adventure and get a superb night's rest. Very peaceful and beautiful neighborhood, with breathtaking views literally just outside the front door. Located so close to so many must-see and must-do things. My family gave this home an A+. And I agree.

A Nice Home to come to at the End of the Day.
This lovely home was a great place to stay for our week long visit. Plenty of showers, great play area and books for our three year old. A stroller was available which was very helpful! There outside areas were great to enjoy. The a/c was only in the bedrooms. Highly recommend this warm welcoming home.

Perfect location and charming home!
This lovely house is located near many tourist attractions, the U.S. Air Force Academy, grocers, restaurants, coffee shops, etc. Diane and Dave provide so much above and beyond what is typically provided: fully stocked pantry and kitchen, coffee, soap, shampoo/conditioner and lotion, games (horseshoes and cornhole) in the backyard, etc. Beds are very comfortable and we were grateful for the AC units in the bedroom windows. Lovely antiques, art, and collectibles throughout the home to admire. We had a lot of fun and enjoyed our stay.
4.9
Positives: the owners seem to be very nice and the location is great.
Negatives: The house stayed very hot during the day (July) but the window AC units worked well for bedrooms. The house is in need of many updates and repairs. Takes forever for water heater to recover. Slow response via supplied property manager.

We loved our stay here. My kids loved the play area upstairs, the space outside was absolutely beautiful! And the hosts were super responsive and very friendly. We would love to revisit someday!

We loved being close to the Garden of the Gods and Manitou Springs. The house was clean and had items I usually have to shop for after arriving, like toilet paper, so it was nice. Back yard was peaceful with fountain and we liked having corn hole and horseshoes to play.

Spacious, family friendly home in a great Colorado Springs location
We wanted to celebrate the easing of pandemic required isolation with a family trip to Colorado Springs. Our group included my wife and I, both seniors, our married daughter and son with spouses, and two granddaughters, one almost 5 and one 9 months. The house and grounds proved an excellent choice for our group, with comfortable sleeping options for everyone plus areas inside and on the lovely grounds to give everyone a chance for some time to themselves.
The house has a passive solar design and the sunspace areas provide a nice, semi-private retreat in many rooms. The second floor partially overlooks the large living room and was heavily stocked with stuffed animals and toys that delighted the grandchildren. The island kitchen features a large refrigerator that allowed everyone to keep favorite perishables and beverages stocked, plus all the appliances and conveniences you are likely to require. And if you pack light or get clothing soiled exploring the many environmental wonders of the area, there is a large capacity washer and dryer available, with supplies, to refresh your wardrobe.
The grounds of the property offer similar choices of shady seclusion or family gathering space including a spacious deck with grill and eating area, a firepit, fountain feature, hammock, and even a horseshoe game area.
The hosts, Diane and David Hathaway, were most gracious, reponsive and accommodating, affording us an early arrival check-in and familiarizing us with the property. Highly recommended for a family stay, especially with young children.

Great Holiday Getaway
We arrived to a Christmas Wonderland inside and out. There was snow on the ground and fantastic Christmas Holiday decorations inside. We had a great time. Hosts are very helpful. We will be back if they will have us!

Great house and location!
We had a fantastic time doing all the things in Colorado Springs and this house is in a great location to all the activities! Had everything we needed, plenty of space and a night backyard. The owners were so kind and welcoming! It is in a neighborhood and there was remodeling going on across the street which was loud all day so next time I might just check with the owners to see if any construction was going on but we would stay again for sure! Go to the Flying W Ranch too - it’s so close!

Great family gathering home
Our family of 6 adults and 2 kids really enjoyed our stay! We especially loved having dinners on the back porch. The kids loved the toys (11 month old and 15 month old). The backyard is a bit dicey for toddlers, but would be awesome for older kids! We just stayed close to the youngins while outside. David responded quickly to all of my questions and was super nice. I look forward to returning sometime.

Charming Family Home
This house is perfect for getting the family together. We had plenty of space and everyone was comfortable. There are plenty of games and areas for the kids to play. They especially loved the hammocks. Our favorite was relaxing in the backyard and making big breakfast in the morning. The very last night we were there we were visited by the “ neighborhood bear “. It was really a neat experience and definitely one our family will not forget. Fantastic location surrounded closely by mountains!
