We really enjoyed our stay in this comfortable, well set-up property. It had a great deck space, lovely green yard, and comfortable living areas. The kitchen was really well stocked. The owners thoughtfully had beach chairs and boogies boards for our use. Plus the best outdoor shower ever! Nice quiet peaceful setting at the end of the road.

We really liked the location near the beach. Also liked that it was located at the end of a dead end street, very quiet and no traffic! Also lots of space for parking!
Very clean and we enjoyed watching all the bunnies!!!

What an awesome find for our family! My husband and our two kiddos (7 and 5) loved EVERYTHING about our week here....which is not typical. The house was perfectly equipped and extremely clean. We had everything we could possibly need and want right at our fingertips...dishes, extra blankets, the washing machines, starter supplies, board games. The central air was so comfortable. The yard was comfortable and beautiful and felt quite private. Every room and space was clean...the house, the yard, the grill, the driveway, the street, the neighborhood. Everyone had plenty of space and there were many comfortable spots to choose. (The beds, the couch, the seating areas....everything was comfy and seemed to invite us to stay a while.) It was a short walk to one beach, and then a quick drive to another. We enjoyed exploring a candy shop and the Roger Williams Zoo with our kiddos, as well as the Newport shopping district. We walked through the nearby marshes. All were an easy drive away for a few hours of fun. We had a chance to meet the owners, and they were such lovely, friendly people who were very respectful of our privacy. There were beach toys and beach chairs a plenty to borrow,
and the extra towels they had ended up coming in handy for us. The property management folks were lovely. My next call is to them, actually, to see if we can book for next year, because we can't wait to come back!!!

This little house was the perfect spot for our family for the week. The house is at a dead end in a very quiet location close to the beach. We enjoyed walking there each day. There were beach chairs, beach toys, boogie, boards, available, and even a cart to push everything in. It was great! The deck and backyard is spacious and beautiful. The house had everything we needed. The fact that this was a duplex was not an issue at all. We met the owners who live next-door, and they could not have been nicer. They made us feel very welcome. We would definitely return in the future. Thanks to the management company as well!

This was our third year staying at this property. It perfectly meets our needs and has been a perfect spot for the beach, the ferry or visiting Jamestown or Newport!

Great vacation!
We chose this rental for proximity to the beach and our friends who own nearby. We were completely blown away by the details that went into the upkeep of this property. Kids, 3,5, and 12 were thrilled staying here. Will 100% return and definitely recommend.

Unparalleled Hospitality
The house, neighborhood, and location are all great, but the owners of the property and the management company were absolutely amazing. They went out of their way to make my family and I feel welcome and comfortable. Five stars isn't enough, they rank off the chart!
Cheers,

Lovely place, just a few comments
POSITIVES: Quiet, comfortable place with 3 beds and central air, 7 minutes' walk to Scarborough. At the end of a cul-de-sac, so the quiet's wonderful. Clean and bright; beds are comfortable (tho mattress in 2nd BR's a bit saggy); wonderful outdoor shower; central air was great to have, tho' we hardly used it as it was cool and dry the entire week! Kitchen's amply stocked with good pots and pans (an excellent saute pan made great omelets) - only missing a lemon squeezer, and a knife sharpener (the knives were dull). There is no dishwasher, but full-sized washer and dryer were very useful. There are beach chairs and a cart in the outside storage bin, and some beach towels in the closet with games and vacuums. The owners seem very nice; David brought us native tomatoes. All in all, a pleasant week! CONS: While the house itself is private, you are sharing the larger property with the owners; you'll be sharing the driveway, the outdoor shower (on your side of the back yard), and you may be able to hear them if they're on their half of the deck, though it is screened off. The property management isn't the best, in our opinion: we've been renting in Pt. Judith for 20 years and this is the first time we ever had to supply our own bed linens and towels. The house is full of "rules" some of which seem excessive, esp. given that you're paying a hefty cleaning fee - like requiring tenants to remake the beds before leaving, even though you have to provide your own linens (?!) - and requiring you to turn off the AC and fans if you leave the house, which on a hot day means returning to a very hot house (even on a not so hot day, the house was stuffy with the AC and fans off). I didn't look at the TV, but my husband did and said it was basically shopping channels, local network stations, and PBS. Lastly - the house could use better furniture on the deck/back yard. The chairs are cheap plastic , the table is too small for more than 4 people, and there are no chaise lounges to lie out on with a book and an

A great week!
We had a great week at this duplex cottage. The owners, Christine and David, who live next door are kind and generous, and quiet people who were great next-door neighbors. Wonderful location too.

Fantastic, quiet beach house!
I came here with my family and found a charming, clean and well stocked beach house! Located at the end of a cul-de-sac, he felt that you had your own private space. Was within walking distance to the beach and able to easily access block island ferry, food, and Newport. Just a great experience and we hope to go back again next year!

Your "home" away from home....
I have been renting in the area since I was a toddler (I'm 36 now) and of ALL the places my family have rented, NONE have had the overwhelming homely feel my partner and I experienced when we first walked in. From the beautifully and artfully decorated rooms, to the toy basket in bunk room, to the plethora of cleaning supplies and materials for the home, to a closet jammed packed of goodies for guests all leading to a well placed and extreamly heartfelt welcoming gift.....we felt at complete ease in this beautiful home and hope very much to rent again! There was excellent communication with the owners and the rental company save the need ever arise to communicate with them. We loved its location. It was located right at the end of a dead end street. It provided a lot of privacy. We also very much appreciated the owners taking the time to put together a welcome binder with a guest book. It was really wonderful reading other guests experiences and adding our own. We hope this will be the start of our own vacation traditions and we couldn't have done it any better with any other home! Thank you very much!

Ideally situated in a fairly private lot, just a half mile from Scarborough Beach (the best waves!)
Clean, comfy, well stocked with kitchen items. Would suggest separately ordering linen, which we did, and which was completely satisfactory. Great backyard for family/kid activities. Ample parking. Comfortably furnished. Could use another indoor chair for the dining room table. Otherwise, A+.

Great Location, Minutes to all Area Beaches
The house was clean and well-maintained. We had a slight issue with the gas grill and a closet door, but they were addressed by both the Management company and the owner who lives next door. Christine (the owner) was very cordial and helpful. We also loved the location as it was no more than a 10-minute drive to any of the local state beaches as well as shopping, church, gas stations, etc. We could even walk to Scarborough Beach as that is the one closest to the house, only a 5-7 minute walk. The only problem we encountered was the fact that 4 ladies had to share 1 bathroom (LOL)... I would recommend this house if you are planning a trip to the Narragansett Beach area.

Clean and felt like home
My family and I have stayed at many rentals in the Narragansett area and this one was one of our favorites. The house was clean, inviting, quiet spot, and had pretty much everything we needed. We have two small children so the central air helped a ton with the day time naps. We had my daughters birthday party there and the back deck easily entertained 20 or so family members. The yard is a perfect size for the kids to play and somewhat enclosed so it kept them there. The outdoor shower is very large. It easily fit me, my husband, and our two little kids. This house was a great place to stay!

The rental was a good base from which to visit our many family in the area. The central air conditioning was vital to enjoying our visit during a very hot period. There was an over abundance of cleaning materials.Maybe cull some of them. Overall excellent.

GREAT SPOT FOR REUNION
Spent a long weekend at this home, which is a perfect 7-10 minuet aalk down a pleasant street to not one but two state beaches. My friends and I were having a reunion and needed a home base. The House was clean and filled with useful items. The owners were in the House next door for the weekend and never minded our celebrating. They even left us a very thoughtful bottle of wine. The outdoor shower was heaven on earth. The porch was our favorite place to sit all night catching up. The bedrooms were comfy and spacious, very thoughtfully decorated with mirrors for dressing. Overall this house was the key to an amazing weekend. Would return in a heartbeat.

Great Location, Wonderful Rental!
We have rented this place the last 4 years. It is extremely well kept. Clean, decorated nicely, the kitchen is stocked with every gadget possibly needed, washer/dryer, central AC and an outdoor shower. Located on a quiet dead end street. Nice deck out the back door with grill and patio set to eat and enjoy a cocktail at. 5 minute walk to Scarborough Beach. 3 minute car ride to Galilee to catch the ferry to Block Island, which is always a great day trip. This rental is a great place!
