About this apartment rental
**Please be advised that Hibiscus Complex is currently undergoing roof construction. While work is in progress, we apologize for any noise or disruption, and appreciate your understanding. Your unit remains fully operational, and we look forward to welcoming you!
Gaze out at the magnificent sweep of St. Augustine Beach from the balcony, living room or master bedroom at our ocean view condo at Hibiscus 303-B. The rolling waves, sugary sands and natural dunes are a glorious sight from our little corner of paradise! You'll feel on top of the world in our immaculately maintained, beautifully furnished condo. The balcony is everyone's favorite spot, nicely shaded from the heat of the sun and quite spacious. You'll find a table and chairs here, as well as a smaller seating area for drinks and conversation. As you gaze out over the palms and past the natural sand dunes to the glittering ocean, your cares will just seem to melt away! Two sets of sliding glass doors lead onto the balcony: one from the living room, the other from the master bedroom. (Perfect for a late night wine-and-stargazing rendezvous!) Step back into the master bedroom and you find yourself in a large room, soft rugs on the cool tiled floor. Two walls contain floor-to-ceiling windows revealing the wonderful view, while a king-sized bed promises a luxurious night's rest. This room also contains a TV and his-and-her bedside tables with lamps. Cooled by a silent, breezy ceiling fan, the master bedroom is a retreat fit for a king! The master bathroom adjoins the bedroom, making it yours and yours alone. Offering both a shower and tub option, it contains all the towel sets you will need. In fact, all of the towels and linens -- including pillows and blankets -- for all of the beds and both bathrooms at Hibiscus 303-B are provided for you, fresh and ready. And when you need to wash the vacation togs, use our full-size washer and dryer right in the bathroom at Hibiscus 303-B! The 2nd bedroom is roomy as well, containing two twin beds, plus a TV, dresser and plenty of closet space. Perfect for children or a second family, this room is convenient to the second full bathroom. And if you need to sleep a couple more, the living room sofa converts to a bed

I loved this condo. Everything was clean and the bed was the most comfortable bed I've had at any rental. The only bad thing I was say is the lack of an elevator. But, I knew about that ahead of time. Loved this place and I would stay here again.

We arrived at Hibiscus but, despite the very nice property, realized there was no elevator access to our third floor unit. That didn't work for my 90- yr old parents. They had great difficulty navigating the stairs. I called the property management and Tulsa helped find us an alternative property that we were allowed to move to the next morning. Excellent customer service!

The location and the condo itself were amazing! The view was amazing and it was a nice walk to beach. This is no fault of the owner - we did a last minute booking - we left that Wednesday to drive down-6 hrs we get an email from the property mgmt that they are doing construction and assured it would not interfere with our stay, they did give detailed information about the construction - when we arrived it was after the office had closed. We get to the property and the door code did not work. We called several numbers and waited on hold for over 45 mins to speak with someone. She was very nice and assured us that was the correct code - but, it did not open - she then gave us another code and after an hour of trying to get in we were finally in! It was very dark as there were no lights on outside the condo and everything was taped up, there was scaffolding around the entire building. We get into room and it’s clean & nice. We walked to the balcony and there was NO RAILING - we were on the 3rd floor. Even though there was Scaffolding - you could easily fallen through. Bright and early at 7:00 am you hear, hammering and saws. This happened every morning. We came to relax and be able to sleep in - that did not happen. My husband asked on Friday would they be working on Saturday and they assured us they would not. But, bright and early they were hammering and sawing. I feel this should have been explained upfront as I would have found somewhere else for us to stay. Also, if I had children or animals (I know they are not allowed) but? I would have requested my money back as it was a very unsafe balcony. I would love to stay here again - just without the construction going on.

Great little get away
The property was wonderful, great location to beach and downtown area.
We did have two maintenance issues…we didn’t have any water in the condo all day Wednesday from 10-4 and the air want working on Thursday from 11:00 til we left on Friday. Both issues were reported to B trips

A very relaxing stay
Property was as described. No surprises. I wanted a place to go and relax and this fit the bill. There was an RV park next door but it was still a quiet neighborhood. Short walk to the beach. There are beach items in the closet for convenience, but no beach towels as mentioned in description. The only hiccup was that the door code given did not work when we arrived. We were quickly able to reach management and another code was given that worked fine. The master bedroom was a little too warm even with air and ceiling fan, but we managed.

Hibiscus
Overall an excellent stay. Only complaint is the deceptive pic that shows a beautiful view of the beach. The view is actually overlooking a campground for trailers and motorhomes with the beach in the background.

Grandkids Getaway with GM & GP
Communication is great. The condo was beautiful. They had just delivered new living room furniture. That could have been a problem as it should sleep 6 and now there wasn’t a sleep sofa. We worked it out, but be aware to ask for roll away beds if you need. Everything else was wonderful. The beds comfortable, kitchen well stocked, pool and ocean just steps away. We would go back to this condo again.

We really enjoyed our stay here. We would recommend this rental and would definitely stay here again. We were able to locate the building easily. Each rental has a specific parking spot. We read reviews about the neighboring RV lot. Yes, you can see them from the balcony, but it was not a big deal. We spent a lot of time on the balcony when we weren’t at the beach. The view was amazing and one morning we could see dolphins swimming in the ocean. It was a quiet community and people were friendly. We took advantage of having a great kitchen to cook meals in everyday to avoid crowded restaurants. We enjoyed the location. There was a Winn Dixie grocery store down the road and a short drive to many attractions in St. Augustine.

Noisey
Unfortunately, first night had excessive noise from adjoining unit (till 3:00am). Also check-in with property manager was quite the ordeal, from the rental contract to having to stop at their office to get the electronic lock code. Couldn’t code have been supplied by e-Mail? Just seemed to be more of a process than was necessary. Unit was as advertised.

We really enjoyed the condo. The view of the ocean was beautiful! The only problem we really had was that the floor needed to be mopped and the hot tub was not all...just slightly warm. The condo was very well stocked with pretty much everything you need...except garbage bags. We really enjoyed the pool area as well as the quiet beach. Very low traffic area, which was WONDERFUL! I would recommend this condo to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway.

Fantastic Stay
Everything was as advertised. Would certainly recommend. Property owner/manager could make pre-booking communication a little easier. That’s probably just me... I usually have a lot of questions. Once booked, communication was very easy. We were thrilled upon arrival.

great vacation
We really enjoyed staying here. The condo was very clean and we hope to return next year. The condo has a keyless entry which is really nice not having to worry which family member has the key or losing the key. The pools were also nice here not a lot of people in them and they were very convenient. the condo also has tile floors and no carpeting which is a plus for us. Again very clean

Great Vacation
This was exactly what we were looking for, a condo with a beach view and pool access. The unit was very clean when we checked in and was nice to sit on the deck in the evenings and mornings. There is an RV park on the side but I didn't think that was an issue at all! My only complaint, which isn't even a big one, was that we had to go buy more toilet paper because there was one roll per bathroom and no extra. Would book this condo again.

Housekeeping fail
Let me say, the unit was spacious, and overall it would a pleasant place to stay. The view was nice, and location was not a bad drive into historic downtown, and other attractions aside from the beach. But would I recommend staying here again? No. I understand this unit is on the beach but the whole place had sand in the living room. The WORST was crawling into bed at night and the sheets were filled with sand at the foot of the bed. This meant the sheets were not changed. I decided to look for other sheets, found them in the closet but they smelled of mildew so awful we slept with sandy sheets. The housekeeping dept. had already surveyed us to see how the unit was and I informed them of this issue so they sent someone out the next day. They just took the mildewed sheets off the floor and put those on the bed. It was unbelievable. One of the bathrooms had hair all over walls- just so disgusted with the cleaning of the unit, and if I was the owner I would be furious bc it really ruined our stay. Disappointed to say the least.

Great Stay
We had a great time at this condo. Our only complaint was that it was cold for some of the days, but the condo was great. :)

Great unit! Loved being close to beach and just minutes from historic St. Augustine
Loved everything except we didn’t like dealing with rental pros instead of owner. Website shows view of ocean but it is half ocean and have trailer park, although the trailer park was quiet. Third floor and steps was difficult for us so probably a second or first floor unit next time

A decent getaway for our visiting family from Alaska
We were looking for a nice 3 day beach spot in the St. Augustine area for our family visiting from Alaska. My son, a 23 year career Air Force , his wife and our two granddaughters, ages 5 & 10. The girls had never been to a beach. Middle of summer, properties were pretty well picked over. Pictures of condo looked nice, allowed 3 day stay, and advertised price attractive. The unit, was very clean and met our needs for a beach experience. The advertised price shown was a bit misleading, and actually doubled with all the additional fees (booking fee, cleaning fee, damage protection, tax, and service fee - all of which are mandatory). The unit is on the 3rd floor with a decent beach view, but has a RV resort right below the balcony. The beach is a good walk from unit. Any seniors with physical problems will tire easy walking 3 flights of steps (55 steps each way), and treks to the beach. Parking is ok for one car, but guest must find available spot & it may be a distance from unit. The unit has a keyless entry which is on a timer. Unless you pay fee upfront you can't get into unit till exactly 4 PM, and check out at 10AM. So, basically, your 3 day stay has been shortened to a little over 2 days. Big deal made over wrist bands to be on grounds & to use pool. Making calls, we were told to get to property office by 1 PM (closes early on Sat.) to pick up bands, even though we couldn't gain access to unit until 4. Told to use amenities until check in time. Problem was a torrential storm kept us from using amenities, so we had to cool our heels. The crowning point, NO ONE at pool ever used these bands and not mentioned on posted pool rules.
The unit was clean, beds comfortable , and plenty of room for 4 adults and 2 kids. The unit was well supplied with basic necessities and beach toys for the girls. A couple maintenance issues which we put on maint. survey, but not emergencies and did not call. Ceiling light in kitchen did not work. Refrigerator froze food and drinks on normal setting. AC unit air filter was filthy and falling out of unit. There still was some storm damage from last years Hurricane Mathew to cupolas on top of the various buildings. We have stayed at other condos in the area and had a better experience. The girls did enjoy the beach & pool and the sunrises were fantastic. The drive into St. Augustine was easy.

Great location, comfortable living
Nice quiet location on the beach with a pool. Comfortable beds and fit our family of 5 well with 2 kids sharing the full size bed. Close enough to attractions to be convienient but far enough to be quiet. TV in each bedroom and large one in living room a bonus for rainy times. Dryer isn't the best, but at least it has one! View from deck is good on one side, other is the RV park so fight for the north facing chair :-)

It was amazing
Everything was very nice. A few things in the condo were not working; blinds in the living room shut, DVD player didn't work, and blinds were missing in the master bedroom.

Disappointed
The unit was clean and nicely decorated, and the bed was very comfortable. Kitchen was well equipped. The big (but not good) surprise is that the unit is immediately adjacent to a large RV park. From the balcony, half of the view is beautiful beach, and the other half is a large unsightly RV park. There is no privacy from the RV park when sitting on the balcony, and it was fairly noisy with talking, dogs barking, RVs pulling in and out. There were also maintenance items that had been neglected (slats missing from vertical blinds, garbage disposal not working, tear in slider screen). I reported these to the management company twice, but they never responded and never sent anyone out to repair them during my 3 day stay. Lastly, be aware that this unit is on the 3rd floor and there is no elevator. Overall, I did not feel this unit was worth the rental rate being charged.

Beautiful location and property!
The property was immaculate and the amenities (pools and beach access) were perfect for our long weekend. The whole family enjoyed all the property had to offer. The condo was a great size for seven people -- not too big, yet we didn't feel like we were on top of each other either.
The best part, though, was that amazing view from the deck. We would definitely rent this property again!

Plesent vacation
This was the best equipped condo we have stayed. We enjoyed staying here and would consider coming again. The only drawback was the bed was extremely hard and the view wasn't that nice with the traiilor park right out front.

Beach lover
Besides the poor weather, our stay was great. The condo was clean and well appointed, with a fabulous view. Totally love the dog, horse, car, bike friendly beach, with endless miles to explore. We slept with our sliding door open to the sound of crashing waves. The negative was the constant phone calls and emails from realtors to show the place who often don't even show up or cancel. Very annoying!
