A lovely place to stay- comfortable, every detail thought of and provided for, beautifully appointed and super clean, charming renovation, quiet, beautiful backyard garden totally secure for our dog, walking distance to Camino bakery/coffee shop, Old Salem, etc. Also the mattresses were extremely comfortable- great night’s sleep. Our host Patricia should teach master classes in best VRBO practices!

This charming bungalow was perfect for our month of working remotely and exploring Winston-Salem and surrounding areas.
Patricia really thought of everything we might need, and was extremely responsive to our questions. The kitchen was large and well equipped. Beds were comfy. Bathrooms were modern with good water pressure. Front porch was nice for sitting and the fenced back yard provided a safe place to store our bikes when we weren't riding them.
Downtown was 5 minutes by car and also accessible by bike or on foot. Lots of good restaurants nearby.

Every word describing this cozy cottage is true. It is a very clean home that is centrally located to many sites and neighborhoods. The host is not only available to assist you during your stay, she has prepared a 'welcome book' that will guide you to everything Winston-Salem has to offer. We (including our furry pup) highly recommend this getaway!!

Laurel St is perfect in every way. It has a huge kitchen that is well supplied. Comfy beds and good showers. You can use your Apps to stream entertainment or watch live TV and on Demand through YouTube Live. The decor, design and craftsman sensibility in all the rooms makes the house very soothing and pleasing. There are neighborhood streets just outside the door and walking/biking trails in Old Salem just 4 or 5 streets away if you’re a daily Walker or runner like me. 5 stars for Patricia’s place.

Great Thanksgiving in WS
We arrived to the house around midnight and grateful for such easy access and a welcoming home. Patricia is a gracious host, providing the small details (well stocked bathrooms, COFFEE, condiments) that make the stay special.
The house is located in a great spot where we enjoyed the quick walk to Granville park (enjoyed watching the families at the tennis courts), quick drive to the local Whole Foods/Publix/Walgreens. We enjoyed the peace and quiet neighborhood during our week break.
In addition to Patricia's personal touches, what makes the house special to us was it authenticity and blend of modern bathroom and kitchen upgrades. We loved the original floors, doors and ceilings while enjoying a rain fall shower and gourmet kitchen and coffee by the fireplace.
Thanks Patricia for the great Thanksgiving get away.

Just as Shown - Adorable!
My family and I choose the adorable home based on location and pictures - it was sooo much more. The owner, Patricia, is easy to communicate with and quick to respond. The house is exactly like the pictures and so much more. Easy check in, immaculately clean and relaxing. It was so nice to come “home” at the end of our day exploring- and home is exactly how this place feels. Lots of nice touches, beautiful decor, comfy beds we couldn’t ask for more. We would highly recommend this place and owner.

Beautiful Home - As Advertised!
We just stayed at this property and from the moment we walked in we knew we would enjoy the our time there. The home was spotlessly clean, well-appointed with thoughtful furnishing and is updated to today’s conveniences. It was close to UNSCA and within short driving distances to many restaurants and attractions. I wish all experiences while traveling could be so positive. We came a great distance and was wonderful to stay in a home that was so comfortable and felt like home. Thank you!!!!

The style, cleanliness, supplies and charm of this rental are absolutely the best. Some of the specific things that make Patricia’s home an A ++++ rental are: lovely art that is subtle but special in every room, a beautiful yard with a small English Garden, spacious kitchen with all new appliances, incredibly comfortable beds, showers to die for with perfect water pressure, wonderful mirrors (many ) with great light and several spacious pleasing spots to write and to work. Enjoy your stay. Don’t hesitate if it meets your need. The quality and comfort of all aspects of the house are great.

Fabulous kitchen and location
Interesting home as it was built in 1925 (nice high ceilings) but beautifully updated and remodeled. Vey comfortable and inviting. Two bedroom/two baths. Wonderful kitchen. Walking distance to Old Salem. Be sure to visit the bakery located there. We hiked around Salem Lake (about a 15 minute drive) and visited Hobby Park to watch them fly their model airplanes and remote controlled planes. We LOVE this Vrbo!

The lovely extra touches in this sweet property make this a “save for next time” location for our family. The property was not only spotless, but well stocked with treats beyond what one expects. Lovely cottage in a quiet neighborhood
Lovely cottage that has been tastefully updated while retaining its southern charm. The owners are very attentive and welcoming and have thoughtfully stocked the cottage with all the essentials you will need for your stay ( and I do mean all ). Five minute drive to downtown and the art district. We brought our dog and I was able to walk him each morning to nearby Washington Park. Ten minutes to Harris Teeter for groceries.About a 30 minute drive to Pilot Mountain or hanging Rock if you like to hike. Spotlessly clean, a large airy kitchen and spacious dining room table, comfortable beds, rainfall showers in each bathroom and a cozy back deck to enjoy morning coffee or an evening drink before dinner. There is a small TV in the living room but we don't need TV on vacation so no downside for us. If you are looking for a big screen to watch Sunday football you can always go to a local sports bar. We have stayed in a number of VRBOs and this one stands out. Highly recommend.

A wonderful family visit
My parents, brother and aunt came to Winston-Salem for Christmas, as I’m 9 months pregnant and cannot travel, and this property was a perfect place to celebrate the holiday. The renovation of this historic home is beautiful, and it has a comfortable layout and is very nicely appointed. The kitchen is wonderfully equipped, and Patricia has provided everything you could need! We didn’t do much around town because of the holiday, but as a local, I can say that you couldn’t have a better location, with easy access to Old Salem and the Strollway that will eventually link to downtown (both walkable) and downtown Winston-Salem. You couldn’t find a better rental in town!
