About this cabin rental
Our cabin was built about 8 years ago. With a large deck and covered porch, you'll have fantastic views of the Winhall River and stunning hillsides. Please note that the rental is only for the cabin with the red roof on the left-hand side of the first photo - the barn is not included. Just half a mile from the village center, you can bike, run, swim, or ski depending on the season. Two bedrooms upstairs separated by a divider, one full and one half bath. The kitchen is one level down at ground floor with a large gas stove including griddle burner. The living room couch converts to a double bed. There is another dining table in the living room. The full glass doors in the living room open to the porch and deck. You can eat outside on the large deck too. Steps from the deck lead right to the meadow and river. Just about a mile from the access road to Stratton Mountain.

We had a wonderful stay here! The pictures don’t do this place justice! The cabin is beautifully located, clean, and comfortable. 7 mins away from Stratton mountain, very convenient! The only recommendation would be to have the host set the temperature prior to arrival if you’re staying in the winter time. Would definitely stay here again!!

Slept 4 adults comfortably upstairs and a great downstairs hangout space.
Best part is it is 8 minutes from Stratton Mountain, cod not have been more convenient!
Recommend for a couple or group of 4 looking for a nice spot to hang between snowboarding/skiing.
Thank you!

This was a very charming cottage located near Stratton Mountain. Friends and I spent 3 nights there while skiing at Stratton and Okemo. The cottage was clean and had a well equipped kitchen. We had a problem with the internet but understand this is a new system. It was not an issue for us but if someone needed the internet you might want to double check to make sure it is working.
We definitely would go back!

I needed a diversion and some R&R, and this cozy cabin was just the perfect spot! It was a cozy space to stay, and close to several places to visit. Thank you!

House layout was a bit unusual in design but worked quite well. Quite clean overall, (except, kitchen garbage was still there along with a bunch of damp rags- seemed as though the cleaning person left without finishing). Coffee maker didn't work so we used the French Press, which worked perfectly. A dishwasher (and a TV) would would've been nice to have but we knew the deal when we rented the place.Going without a TV is not a big deal these days, but having to hand wash dishes on a vacation is a bit of a pain.... Owner was very responsive and house was about 1 mile from the Stratton Mountain access road.

My husband and I enjoyed a relaxing New Year’s ski vacation at Elisabeth’s well-appointed cottage. The kitchen had everything we needed to eat-in because (once again) Covid. The mountain and town are super close. We had a small glitch in communicating because VRBO app isn’t quite aligned with VRBO on your computer browser. But it’s clear the owner wants her guests to enjoy themselves. We hope to be back soon.

This cabin is perfect for a ski getaway! Right next to Stratton Mountain road and a perfect place to get away from the crowds at the mountain. Being on the river is also great. Very clean with everything you could need!

This was the perfect long weekend stay while we were in town to ski Stratton. The cabin was a very short ride to the mountain base, and it had everything we needed for a great weekend. We even utilized the fully-stocked board game closet. Waking up with beautiful views of the river was a nice added bonus! Our host, Elisabeth, was very helpful and communicative. We will definitely look to stay here again for our next trip.

This was our second time staying at this cabin. It is a perfect location for skiing at Stratton. Clean and comfortable with modern conveniences. Plenty of room to spread out. I would not hesitate to stay here again.
