Architecturally designed beautiful home with interior stone and maple wood throughout, located in the upscale Crooked Pines neighborhood in Mammoth Lakes, CA. Walking distance to Chair 15. Situated on the Sierra Star golf course. The house features several seating areas, 4 Smart TVs, large Kitchen with partially enclosed grilling area adjacent to kitchen, a large chateau designed Dining Table seats 10 and Kitchen Bar Seats 4, a total of 4 bedrooms total, Five Bathrooms, a Den, 2 Lofts, Game Floor with Billards and Wine Cellar, Private Spa overlooking the Golf Course, large backyard with Fire Pit and Seating Area. Master Bedroom 1 is generous in size with a King size bed, fireplace, a pull out full size sofa bed, and a gorgeous view of Sierra Star Golf Course, generous size En Suite Master Bath with a large tub, separate marble shower stall, enclosed toilet area large 2 sink area, large walk in closet. Master Bedroom 2 is a large room with a King size bed, ensuite large bathroom 2 sink marble area with a separate private toilet/tub shower, and an adjacent loft area with a sleigh sofa which could be used as a twin bed. Third bedroom has a rustic gorgeous queen bed with comfortable chair and large closet and large 2 sink marbled Jack/Jill bath with enclosed private toilet/shower tub area. Fourth Bedroom is the bunk room with 2 beautifully designed bunk beds featuring a Full/Full and Twin/Twin large comfortable chair and Jack/Jill 2 sink bath with private toilet tub shower. The Den has a office desk and a pull out queen sofa bed. The Game Floor has a Queen size pull out Sofa bed, Fireplace and a Full size bath with Tub Shower. The Game Floor also features a Billards Table in the wine cellar area, and outside partially enclosed spa with a gorgeous view of the golf course and backyard. Also on the Game Floor is a enclosed Theater Room featuring a 90 ft Smart TV, Surround Sound, 8 Recliner Leather Seats, with DVD player and a huge assortment of movies. I booked this house for our annual friends and family Labor Day trip, 3 families with a total of 14 people, teenagers and adults. Everyone loved the house and I was the hero of the weekend. Very comfortable with lots of room to spread out; we enjoyed the hot tub, firepit, pool table and screening room. Plenty of everything - tableware, bedding, towels, etc. Super easy check in and check out. Thank you, Donna, for sharing your beautiful home with us.

Just spent a great weekend up in the mountains to enjoy some fishing with friends and family. We had an amazing time staying at the property. It was very spacious and had plenty to entertain us. The lower level was great with the pool table, home theatre, outdoor patio, spa and firepit that open out onto the golf course. We loved the location of the property. It was very central in town and was a 15-20 min. walk to the village, Mammoth Brewery, etc.
Donna was a great host and was very communicative before and during our stay. If there were any issues, she was quick to respond. I would highly recommend this home for anyone looking to have a great time and enjoy all that Mammoth has to offer.

This is a great property for family vacations. Great communication and response for any questions we had, even on the 4th, thanks Donna. The house is very nicely appointed with lots of amenities to keep everyone happy. From the spa to the pool table or the media room, there's something for everyone. It's also centrally located and just a couple minutes to the village or to the lifts. We spent the 4th of July here and it was perfect for a large family. Nice views of the golf course and a great fire pit. We had a great time and will definitely return again.

This place was aaaaamazing! Perfect family and friends getaway! Donna our host was excellent and responsive, her check-in instructions made this large home with many amenities easy and user friendly. We hope to enjoy again next ski season.

I booked this home for an annual ski trip. We chose this home for its listed amenities; jacuzzi, pool table, media room. Sadly, none of these were in working condition. The pool table had no chalk, media room had no audio, and jacuzzi didn't work. Media room, we spent 2 hours discovering a broken wire and re-wired the whole system, luckily, we had an AV guy in our group. Jacuzzi was the biggest disappointment, not only was there not enough water to cover the jets rendering those useless, it was EXTREMELY difficult to access as it is wedged in a corner surrounded on 3 sides by walls, you can't walk around to remove the top. Please if you rent here, do not attempt to open it alone as it is extremely dangerous, you have to get inside it to push the top back, our friend slipped doing this and the top knocked him over and fell on him, luckily there were 2 others with him that helped pull it off. The disappointments didn't stop there, the kitchen was a mess, one example is the microwave, you can't see the display, only one button works. After spending too much time trying to figure it out, I texted the host/owner, she informed me it did work, you just can't see the display?! While the owner was quick to respond, the solutions weren't helpful. The problems should have been recognized & repaired prior to check in. She also referred to the welcome letter which contained bad info. I was hoping to write a more favorable review to include the owner took care of us, but she hasn't.

Donna (owner/host) was very communicative before and during our stay. There was a major storm that hit on Friday and wiped out the lifts at Mammoth for Saturday and Sunday and our flights were canceled on Sunday. Donna gave us a good rate to stay two extra nights which enabled us to get those ski days back on new snow! Very accomodating. The place was the perfect size and amenities for our group. Thank you!

Home is perfect for larger families. There is plenty of room to hang out and entertain. The downstairs area with the pool table, media room and fire place was a great spot to relax after an adventurous day.

My group and I had such a great time staying here a couple weeks ago! The house is amazing and comfortably fit our group of 10 who visited Mammoth to snowboard. The house was very clean, the amenities were fun, and the host was very helpful. A couple questions came up about the house upon arriving and the host quickly answered everything. Would 100% recommend to everyone!

I’ve been going to mammoth every year since I was a child and seen all types of properties. This one I can easily say trumps all the rest. Everything you could possibly want, this home has. Great price, amazing layout, perfect location. Fit all 10 of us very comfortably and helped make our stay so much better than expected. It has all types of entertainment and spaces for all ages. If you like the village, it was a quick 10 minute walk as well. Donna was very quick with every response and helpful with anything we needed. Would definitely recommend to anyone and planning on going back.

Communication with owner is great. Loved the location- it was great to walk over to the festival grounds. The media room, pool table, and hot tub were enjoyed by all! The only thing that may be an issue for some are all the internal stairs. We didn't have a problem, but it may be a consideration for others.

Host of the property was top notch, stayed in touch easily and accommodated our needs quickly and answered questions right away. Home is immaculate with so many amenities, we were constantly entertained and comfortable. Definitely one of my favorite experiences for vacation home rentals.

This house is a truly special place for a winter getaway. Donna was an amazing host and incredibly helpful throughout the whole process. She was very understanding and helpful when weather moved in on our last night. The house was extremely comfortable and helped us to feel same and cozy during the blizzard. An easy walk to Eagle Lodge, this was the perfect weekend getaway. Would love to stay again and highly recommend you do to.

The property was perfect for my large party. We had enough beds to sleep in and it was very spacious.
We were bummed we couldn't use the hot tub but there was severe weather so there's not much the host could've done.
Perfect location and walking distance to Eagle Lodge.

Great house with lots of amenities. Close to eagle lodge. There were three families totaling 12 people. We opted to drive to the lodge each day instead of carrying our skis but if you have a cart it would be walkable.
House with clean and the property owner was very responsive to our needs. Honestly my only complaint was the heat lamps were broken by the bbq (it was cold when we were there).
Definitely a 5 star property and we would come back.

This was a beautiful house. We used the movie room and spa every night. The owner was very responsive and communicative. Liked all the rooms and loved that it had so many bathrooms. The different levels were great so we could put the kids one place and have adult space as well. The kitchen was great to cook in as it was very spacious. Loved that you could park in the garage! All in all a beautiful stay.

We had a great time and appreciated Donna’s communication and responsiveness. Great for a group and had everything we needed. Unfortunately and it wasn’t the owners fault, but the people before us didn’t leave enough water in the hot tub so we didn’t get to use that but Donna was very helpful in trying to get someone out to help and we let her know it wasn’t a big deal for group. Overall it was great.

We just got back home from this lovely vacation. We had stayed there for four nights and truly this was a very nice and great choice out of all others we were looking into.
Donna, who is the owner, She is very easy to talk to and communicate. She made it a very easy to check in, and anything we needed was just a text away . Her cabin/home is incredibly beautiful and well-kept and clean , all amenities were in good condition , kitchen bathroom and rooms are well equipped with everything you may need.
Most important ,the kids loved it and we did too. We are waiting to get back there for our next vacation home in Mammoth .

I love this property. It’s ion the 4th hole of Sierra Star Golf Course. It has everything you need and more. My buddies and I go to Mammoth every year for a golf trip. This place is perfect. I would definitely stay here again. Plenty of room for all of us

Cant get much better than this!
If you truly want to treat yourself, book a stay at Crooked Pines. I've stayed in dozens of home rentals and this home was perfect. It's a fully custom home with super high end features. Its right on the golf course with beautiful views! It has plenty of comfortable space, a kitchen overstocked with gear, very comfortable bedrooms, overstocked bathrooms, a huge terraced media room with projector for movie nights, pool table, jacuzzi and so on!
My family appreciates a nicely appointed rental! We will definitely stay here again.

Large, luxurious, well equipped with short walk to Eagle Lodge
Beautiful home that is quite huge. Master bedroom is incredible and the other large bedroom is quite nice as well. Bunk room worked great for a large group and plenty of little nooks to stretch out throughout the house. Our group of 9 had plenty of space with our own bed for each. Kitchen is really well equipped for home cooking and hot tub, pool table, and home theater provide plenty of things to do around the house. Shuttle stop is just down the block and walk to Eagle lodge takes less than 10 minutes. Would absolutely stay again.

Perfect in every way
I have been traveling and renting in Mammoth for 20 years and this was the best place I have ever stayed in! The place is clean, spacious, and provides endless entertainment with an amazing bottom floor hang out space. It is also centrally located and minutes away from everything you need.
If you are reading reviews you must ignore the November 1 star report as that person is 100% lying and should not be rented to. We had 9 guys on our annual ski trip and everyone agreed this was the best place we have been to.

Beautiful Home, Great Location
The home was a perfect 10 for our father/son ski trip (4 Dads, 4 children). The host was incredibly responsive and made the trip a pleasure. The house is in a great location - a minute away from Eagle Lodge- and was very clean, up to date, has all the amenities you could ask for (2 car garage, hot tub, pool table, tvs, fully stocked kitchen)... Can't wait to go back.

Beautiful, clean home
This home was terrific. Looked just like the pics, large bedrooms, well kept and well appointed. Very beautiful and quiet neighborhood. Owner was extremely responsive/communicative

OVERPRICED AND UNDER MAINTAINED
There was dust all over the place.
The Showers were challenging to control the on-off position and kept spinning in circles
The shower door handle is loose in the master bedroom
The Fireplaces were not working in the dining room and master bedroom
There were rats in the ceiling.
The ivory carpet is dark-colored in the family room from being filthy and dirty.
Hot tub water is unsanitary (awful smell) and did not heat up properly
All Sonos speakers are not functioning -only two zones worked.
The oven was filthy, and we had to clean it before using it.
The couches were filthy: family room sectional has feathers and dog hair coming out everywhere.
The movie room recliners are torn.
Pots and pans are not safe to cook with, and we had to purchase some at Vons, which we left behind
The microwave does not work correctly. Only the minute option worked to power it on
Master bedroom main double door entrance does not lock nor stay closed and offers zero privacy
Dog hair on the family room rug and sofa
Dark drink spilled on the wall in the top bedroom left side above the bed.
The carpets and rugs were filthy.
The towels have bleach marks all over them.
The showerheads need to be cleaned, so water flows / lousy water pressure and hard to control hot/cold dial.
The owner refused to communicate when we tried to discuss these issues and ask for a reasonable discount.
We were very frustrated and embarrassed with our guests.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!! SO NOT WORTH WHAT THEY ARE ASKING.

Luxury lodging and great location
Plenty of space throughout the cabin. Kids had fun playing pool and the theater was awesome. Easy communication with Donna. She was very accommodating and answered my questions right away. I would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful home and excellent location
Enjoyed our stay in Mammoth. This multi-level home accommodated our family of 8 adults and 7 children (ages 13-11 months) beautifully. The backyard allowed us to play badminton and enjoy the walking paths of the development. Hiking, kayaking, and the shopping areas were close bit.

I never submit reviews but felt the need to submit this review to warn others. A deposit is required by the owner that was not listed in the description when we reserved the house - this was a red flag that I wish I’d foreseen. We reserved the house 5 months in advance and the owner asked me for a separate deposit to be mailed to her 2 weeks before our trip. I didn't feel comfortable about that so the owner processed the deposit through VRBO as a payment - NOT a deposit. I didn't like that but I didn't want to make a big deal out of it. She later took a processing fee for that even though VRBO said they don't charge a separate fee for that. During our trip, I was very upfront about everything. Owner had a huge list of rules so we were scared to do a lot of things to avoid our deposit being withheld. For example, we wanted to use the spa but since the owner kept stressing that the lid was new and fragile (which meant we would have to pay if it broke), we didn't even bother with it.One of the thermostats was broken so we allowed the manager to come fix while we were gone (big mistake). He came in, inspected all the rooms (without our permission), and took a picture of one of the rooms (we felt violated) where we had moved a bed over a couple of feet to make room for a blow up bed. One kid wanted to sleep in the same room as his parents vs sleeping on a bed outside the room. I checked and double checked - NOWHERE on the contract, rules, or emails did it say that we couldn't move beds/furniture. The owner told me that we shouldn't have moved the bed (I’m surprised it wasn’t in the contract and list of rules) - even accused us of having more people than we stated. She wanted to revolt(??) the bed frame even BEFORE she or the manager inspected it - she took away part of our deposit for that. My husband and another dad moved the bed and I know they were VERY careful. There was no damage even though the owner said otherwise. She showed us pictures of damage. She can say all she wants but we suspect these pictures were pictures of previous damage. We are a very honest and respectful group. If we really had broken the bed, we'd gladly pay for it and even feel bad about it - but we didn't. Because the owner processed our deposit as a payment, she only gave us part of the deposit back and we could do nothing about it. We have rented property at least once a year for the past 15 years and this was the worst rental experience ever.

Unique home in Mammoth
We all loved this home, it's five levels and four stories. Unfortunate situation with dead animal in walls which required a heavy deodorizer to mask odor. But all in all our family loved our stay in Mammoth.

The house was amazing and location is perfect!
We had a great weekend skiing and hanging out with friends and family. The house was in the perfect location near the chairlifts. We really enjoyed our time at this is house it is beautiful.

Warm and inviting home in close proximity to mountain and other amenities
We really enjoyed the home and overall would highly recommend with some minor comments. The home is not necessarily walking distance to Eagle lift as advertised especially for kids with skis and boots. Originally we were going to have 8 dads and 8 kids as the property says it accommodates this number. While technically correct, the home has 3 very nice bedrooms and the rest are sofa sleepers if that. I had to have both my children sleep in our bedroom (not so bad, very nice room). We ended up having 4 dads and 7 kids which worked out well. Anymore and it would have been overwhelming. Also come to find out the property charges $50 per person per night over 12 people. From a value perspective fiund the property to be expensive. When we received the welcome letter, the owner had more rules to abide by then I could possibly remember and had to reread daily to make sure we were anding by them or we would be docked $. From the deposit. Don’t get me wrong the property is very nice but having stayed at lots of properties as well as renting our home out, I would suggest reading the fine print.

Large enough space for 12 people to stay. We had 16 in our group and we managed make ourself confortable. Nice location and view is good. Good heating system with fireplace that heat up whole house.
