I booked one bedroom apt (i.e. bedroom/living room/kitchenette). Please note it's an old property and the room decor/design is from the 70s. But, the bedroom was very comfortable. The bed has newer mattress and it was comfortable. As well as pillows/sheets. The lighting fixtures were fine. The bathroom was clean, towels new and fluffy, shampoo/conditioner/body wash - all there. The kitchen had everything you need for a comfortable stay: full size fridge with freezer, coffee machine, microwave (no stove), all kinds of plates/glasses/cups plus knifes/spoons.
Carpet. It's old and somewhat dated. The sofa bed/couch was super UNCOMFORTABLE. It's old and the springs just burrow into your body. That thing needs to go!
I mean with a little TLC (newer table, newer couch, newer fresher decor along the walls) this hotel would be perfect.

Had a great experience with the hotel. Great Location. Very clean, everything organized, and a lovely place‼️

Location
The unit we stayed in was absolutely disgusting. The couch fibers were so imbedded with grease and grime that it had like a sticky film on it. The rug was disgusting too, hadn’t been cleaned in years. The kitchen table was so sticky you could heard my laptop unstick itself when I lifted it off the table. There was a mattress in the closet which was worn through, you could see the foam and springs through the mattress fabric. The windows sils were covered in dust. There is no air conditioning in the unit either. The water pressure was low in the kitchen area. The only good thing about Holiday Haus was the location.

we stay here when in Mammoth! convenient location and the cabins have a kitchen and comfortable accommodations!
it was a hot weekend and fans helped but air conditioning would be nice.

Room size was great. Shower was nice and warm. Kitchen was big (although it needs more things in it, pots, pans, etc.). Hot tub was a nice surprise. Location is great.
Bed + pillows were average. But really the main negative thing was the sound - the walls are SO thin. I could hear everything my neighbors were saying. Not nice, and no sleep in.

Lots of parking spots. Nice and clean room with kitchen, fridge and clean bathroom. Had everything I needed

Location easy to find. Self check in was easy. The room was clean and beds comfortable. The fireplace worked. The woman who cleans the room was friendly and shared her sweet smile with us. She was the only staff we saw onsite.
The fireplace did not heat the room adequately. I wouldn't stay during winter when it is frigid outside.
The hotel advertised as renovated. This was our first stay so I don't know what it was like prior. It seemed worn to some extent. It wouldn't have mattered if my expectations had not been set by the hotel's "renovated" message.
Fireplace inadequate to warm room.

We have made Holiday Haus our favorite destination once a year for 30 years.
It is usually quiet and staff are welcoming.
The staff receptionist was not welcoming,
Patrons above and next door were very loud at night and in the morning. The adjacent neighbor's alarm went off and didn't stop.

no complaints.

location and free cancellation up until 3 days of arrival
I would like for the property to at least empty trash cans and bring fresh towels. No service at all.

The room was very spacious, comfortable and extremely clean with cute views of the wood cabins and mountain out the window. The room was very warm upon walking in and welcoming - it continued to stay warm through the night. There was parking right outside the front door.
I didn't get to use the hot tub as I only stayed one night and used the natural hot springs 15 mins drive away instead but I wish I could have stayed longer. The location was great.
The one downside which I reported to front desk, was that the fireplace turned itself on at 4.30am for an hour - this would have been fine other than the fact it woke me up suddenly and kept me awake. Front desk said they will look into why it turned itself on. Whether it was on a timer or accidental, I'd like to be able to control the fireplace. I would definitely stay again but in a room without the fireplace.
