This is an excellent place to stay and has all the amenities. We enjoyed every bit of our trip to Nashville. The only thing missing was a second kayak, but everything else was great.

This place is nestled in a quiet neighborhood which is great to get away from the noise of downtown Nashville. Host was great. Wish there was AC in the garage to enjoy the pool table more. Dock was nice to fish off of but the water was also really shallow but enough places close enough to get water access. Hot tub was very clean. Big yard to play in. Found a few screws in the driveway but could possibly be due to construction at the adjacent property. Overall, would highly recommend staying here.

If you have a big group and you are looking to get away but still have the convenience of every day life within 10 minutes, you found the right place.
Spacious. Lovely deck. Hot tub. Right on the water. Wildlife. Nashville within 30 minutes. Golf courses within 10. Boat rental 5 minutes as well as a boat launch. Your own personal dock. The host actually came out and blew up a raft for us during the trip.
Wonderful place for a family or a bachelor/bachelorette party or a golf trip.
Do yourself a favor and pick this place and enjoy!!!

We stayed at the lakehouse for 7 nights. There was 6 adults and 2 pre teens. There was plenty of room for us all . The house was very clean and fully equiped. It was in a great location. It only took us minutes to get anywhere we needed and just a short drive to Nashville. The owner was just a call or text away and always was available for questions about the area. We are already planning our next visit to the Lakehouse!!

Just a bunch of old college friends reuniting over meals, boats, paddles and wine. The house was comfortable and clean. There were a couple of minor snafus, like the hot tub not working and we were without running water for a few hours when we arrived. Bryan did his best to fix the hot tub and brought us cases of water to help with the inconvenience. All in all I would book again!

The property had everything we needed for 3 couples to relax. Close enough to Nashville to enjoy it and far enough to be quiet. Loved it

My three friends and I loved our stay! The house was clean and well-cared for. The hot tub and firepit were so nice and easy to use. We loved the screened in porch overlooking the lake, too. It was also an easy drive into Nashville and to the other areas we planned to visit. We would definitely stay here again!

The house was so nice—beautiful views on the water. Lots of activities (canoe, pool table, fire pit, hot tub, cornhole, etc) but also plenty of yard space to sit and relax and visit and make your own fun. The sunroom was our favorite place to play cards and visit and drink coffee.
The host had tried to think of everything we could have wanted! Would love to be able to go back soon.
For us, with a one year old grandson, it was especially nice to have access to baby equipment and even some books and toys.

The property was everything it claimed to be. The hot tub was amazing especially on a cool night. It was just close enough to anything you would need. Would recommend to anyone looking for a place near Nashville to have a get together with family.

We chose this house to stay in while visiting our family in TN. It was perfectly situated not more than three miles from their house. We loved how cozy the house was. Perfect for spending time together. We have no complaints. As a suggestion, it would be helpful to have a new/larger water heater to accommodate larger families. We hope to return to this same house for another family visit in 2024!

Our stay was great. This house was the perfect getaway for a quiet, peaceful, and scenic family get together. We used most if not all of the amenities that the house had to offer. Long enough distance for the peace and quiet and still only 15-20 from airport and Broadway.

Superior hosts with stellar communication skills.
Location was great for serenity away from the city, yet close enough for day trips into downtown. The teens enjoyed the kayak and canoe time. The screened-in porch was lovely. I definitely recommend Splashing Turtle Lakehouse!

My husband and I, along with our adult children and their spouses, stayed in this beautiful lake home. It was right on the water with a dock for our boat. The house had plenty of room for all of us and the kitchen was spacious. We were only about 35 minutes from Nashville and all it had to offer. Bryan was so responsive and helpful. Our family loved our trip and would definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed every minute we spent at the house! The beds were comfy, the kitchen was well stocked, and the view was spectacular! We spent most of our time on the screened in porch taking in the view! I can’t say enough good things!

We had a great visit with our family. We enjoyed coffee in the morning on the screen in porch. Enjoyed watching birds, turtles, deer. The house was exactly as advertised. We used the fire pit one night and made s’mores. We would stay again when in the Mt. Juliet area.

We had an awesome time. The house was right on the lake with plenty to do. The house was clean and had everything we needed to accommodate everyone in our group.
Bryan our host was great and easy to get in touch with.

Three generations met at this property near Nashville (we went to Opry Mills Mall, Nashville Zoo & Edley’s Barbecue and the longest trip was about 40 minutes). The house was big, really well supplied and was exactly what we needed to reconnect with a son who lives in Knoxville and our college-age son during spring break. We had no issues at all, used the waffle maker, played games, made a couple of fires and loved bird-watching all day! Nice beds, plenty of linens, easy parking. It was cold and we’re not boaters, but the boat ramp and fishing platforms were only 5 minutes down the road. A really great value and lovely trip.

The view at the lake is gorgeous ... the property is away from the busy streets and is quiet and tranquil.
It was great having everything we needed to come "home" for a quiet evening... morning coffee... dinner... etc.
We enjoyed evening laughter at the pool table and created many memories.
Thank you

Property was as advertised and featured the amenities of home. The larger common area, and screeded in porch, enabled us to dine and socialize comfortably for hours at a time.
While this was a work trip, being in a nature type setting with a nice gas grill, we also had great outdoor social times in the early morning and evening hours.
Loved the stay and definitely would stay again.

Property is nice as a 'cabin house'. Owner is very friendly and helpful. Pool table area was fun for our older teens and screened in porch was great. Overall, could use a little tlc with some extra cleaning/upkeep and maybe some new furniture and bedding including pillow covers and mattress covers. While some areas are remodeled, some areas could use some updating. Water level was extremely low when we were there so really didn't use anything related to the water or have too much to view but it was okay since we did a lot away from the property. Dock could use some tlc too. While owner is very nice and accommodating, few extras overall would have made it a higher rating for our family as compared to other 5 star locations.

House exactly as advertised and pictures, although listing doesn't do the screened in porch justice. We had 5 kids under 5 in tow, two sets of parents, and family friends who dropped in with their 2 kids (ages 6 and 4) for daytime playdates and meals. With thunder and lightning rolling through for half our stay, this could have been complete disaster. Screened porch for the win. We could dodge the rain, eat and play outside, let the kids be kids in safety, and the baby could keep sleeping in the tucked-away nursery with no interruption. Clutch. And when it stopped raining, the kid-friendly, well maintained beach (with bathrooms and a playground we didn't even need) is a short drive up the road so we could head to and from the sand and water without the kids even having time to complain about the drive. Good local food options that are in the delivery range (slow burn for solid hot chicken),10min from a well stocked publix, and super easy checkin and checkout with a clean, simple, well-stocked house. Couldn't ask for more on a quick weekend trip to see sibs and cousins and enough space in the common areas for us to entice our local friends up from Franklin to come over to play! Many thanks to Bryan for sharing his excellent home with our family!

Blizzard safe haven
My friends and I got to experience one of the biggest snow storms in Nashville history in this Lakehouse. I can think of much worse places to be snowed in. We enjoyed our time grilling out and playing pool while the snow fell. Absolutely beautiful place! Bryan was very gracious and helpful and offered to help us get out and get groceries during all the craziness.

We enjoyed our stay very much.
The house is located in a cul de sac, in what appears to be a nice neighborhood. It’s a nice old house. The only improvement I’d consider is that the house was a bit dusty. Needs better or more thorough cleaning.

Perfect Retreat
This place is the perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle of our daily work life. Very quiet Cul de sac. We felt right at home the minute we walk in the door. Loved the water view, stocked kitchen and gathering areas. A nice bonus was making fresh waffles in the morning.

Peaceful and Relaxing
Working with the owner was a pleasure. Bryan was very kind and responsive. We had a group of eight and we all enjoyed the home. It’s very quiet and relaxing on the water with a lot of wild life. Some of our group enjoyed the night life in Nashville and they were able to get a driver to take them and bring them home. I don’t want to forget the neighbor dog named Buddy he was very friendly and enjoyed our company just as much as we enjoyed his.

Lake getaway
Our stay at the splashing turtle house was just perfect! We had 3 sisters families meet for a lake getaway. We brought our boat and had an easy time using the private dock. The quick access to 2 foot cove was a favorite for everyone! Our hosts provided the fun of a large tube that the kids loved! The pool table, back porch, fire pit were loads of fun. Beds were comfortable and house was cool. We had plenty of space for 5 adults and 4 kids (11-14). The kitchen has everything you needed including some special waffles. We all raved about the little extras provided on this rental that made it such a relaxing visit. We hope to return!
