Fue genial poder estar en una de las islas y saber cómo viven.

The location on Lake Titicaca was amazing. The host Isak gave us an excellent cruise on the lake and told us about the people living on the floating islands Uros.
Everything was excellent.

The location was stunning with wonderful views over Lake Tititcaca. The room was basic but comfortable with an extra large bed and lots of warm blankets for the cold nights.

Isaac and his wife are excellent hosts and admirable people living in the Uros community. Isaac made our trip wonderful. He took us fishing and took us on a tour around the islands. Staying here and doing these activities truly is the best way to experience lake titicaca. Dinner and breakfast were also very tasty and there was even warm water to shower! Could not recommend this place and these hosts more!

We had the most wonderful 2 nights at Sariri Lodge with Isaac & Gladys as our hosts. The lodge was stunning, the deck, the views, the food, the hot shower... we can't recommend it enough! The most rested and at peace I've felt in 3 months of travels, wish we had booked for longer!

We had such a great stay with the very friendly couple Gladys and Isaac. We stayed two nights with them and had the opportunity to learn about the Uro people, their culture and daily life thanks to our hosts. Delicious food and basic but spotless rooms. We spent time here in July which is wintertime so bring warm clothes. There is a heater inside the rooms, but outside can be cold.

Everything. Great views of lake and islands. Wonderful helpful host family. Nothing too much trouble. Went to buy me medicine and made me home made chicken soup when I was ill. Took me fishing with them and on an included island tour when I was better.
Nothing except you do need to be prepared that youre out on an island in the middle of the lake, so theres no WiFi and all payments are in cash so take money out for payment before you arrive. Could feel a bit isolated if youre there for many days but I eas happy to chill out and relax for 2 days, 3 nights.

I love this whole experience. Isaac and Gladys were so kind and made sure we were always comfortable. The bed was the most comfortable in all of South America. They even gave us hot water bottles for our bed at night. it was my favorite experience in all of our travels to date. The photos of the place are exactly what you will see.

EVERYTHING 😊 The room is really special with amazing views of the lake, an extra large comfortable bed and en-suite with hot shower. The price is higher than some other places on the lake but we thought it was really worth it. The transfers from the port and activities were included in the price whereas other places charge extra. Isaac and Gladys were so welcoming and helped us practice our Spanish. Isaac took us fishing in his traditional tortura boat and the food was the best we had on the lake.

Amazing experience with our hosting family - we got to know their unique way of living in the islands, where everything is made out of totora. Isaac took us fishing on his boat and made a presentation of their day to day life. I never had such friendly and kind hosts before, I definitely think this was one of the highlights of visiting Peru.
The room was gorgeous with 2 huge windows to the lake - and a very cozy bad with a fantastic view. We paid extra to get home cooked meals, that were very tasty - I can recommend!

This has been the best place we have stayed in all of Peru so far! Isaac and Gladys are wonderful hosts and they took care of us as if we were family! The views from our room were incredible and it’s such a special experience to stay on an island with Isaac and his family. They were so incredibly humble and happy to have us there with them. We loved the boat & fishing tour that Isaac took us on & Gladys cooked delicious meals for us. All of the facilities were fabulous. Can’t wait to return to visit them one day! I will be recommending their place to all my friends & family.

Our Holliday here was amazing. Isaac and Gladiz are amazing host, kind, friendly and generally happy people, which is contagious. From the most comfortable accommodation to the authentic Uros experiences (including food), everything was above expectations and we would gladly return here anytime.

Isaac and Gladys are absolutely the sweetest people in the world. Unfortunately me and my husband do not speak Spanish but Isaac took us around the Uros islands with his boat and explained us using google translator how the Uros islands are made and how they work. We also took the trip to Taquile island and Isaac dropped us off and picked us up from the tour starting point. The room is very big and clean. You have your own bathroom with shower. It gets cold in the islands during the night and it was lovely that Isaac and Gladys gave us some hot water bottles to keep us warmer during the night. If you go to Puno and want to have a bit of an adventure, I strongly suggest you to book a room and stay on Isaac’s island. Uros islands are absolutely beautiful and Isaac’s and Gladys’ unique way of life so interesting and their attitude towards life so heartwarming! Thank you so much for this once in a lifetime experience!

The place is beyond words! The whole family Isaac, Gladys and Antonio are truly open-heart and super Friendly. The prepared dinner ( not included in price ) but it was delicious and worth every penny. The room has an amazing view during the day. The beds are very comfortable and warm for the night. Also breakfast was super tasty and awesomely prepared.
In addition, it should be mentioned that the stay also includes transfer to and from the lodge. Also a tour of the islands is included.
Note: it is not a hotel but a lodge experience. This means that the room can be a bit cold and the toilet is ecological ( no flushing) . The blankets offered are super warm and there is warm water. It is amazing experience.

Staying with Isaac and his family on this little island was an amazing experience. Isaac took us for a trip on his boat and explained the life on islands. Beautiful view from the lodge, especially sunsets!

Isaac and Gladys were wonderful and went above and beyond to make my stay memorable! From delicious food to an explanation of the islands and boat trip. The accommodation is beautifully presented and has amazing views for sunset. I cannot recommend highly enough!

This was a pure experience of how the Uros live on their floating islands, albeit comfortable in a beautiful room with fantasic views on the water and the other islands. Isaac and Gladys took care of us, always with a smile, and we missed nothing to keep this adventure in our memories forever! While we had one of the coldest nights and no heater in the room, we learned how to deal with it: go to bed early with a hot water bottle and 5 blankets and you sleep like a baby! We can only recommend to veryone who wants a unique experience to go and visit Isaac and Gladys!!!
The advertising at booking.com could be improved for making it easier for potential customers to understand what they get(next to the room and breakfast): -included in the price you have: pick up by boat and delivery back. Explanations/demonstrations on how the floating islands work and what work is necessary to maintain them. Boat tour around the "village" of the Uros (against a small tip Isaac even drove us out onto the Lake Titicaca for an extra hour). Demonstration of old fishing techniques and traditional rowing boat ride.
Overall a great package/great value for money and unbeatable friendly hosts. And don´t worry about your Spanish, we got perfectly along with a few words and the rest in English and with hand and feet :-) Adds to the pleasure.

i don’t usually leave reviews but this place really made an impact! Isac and Gladys took such fantastic care of us. We stayed on the local side of the island which gave us such a unique experience of the floating islands. Isac and Gladys showed us their way of life, took us fishing and taught us how to make handicrafts. Not to mention, the lodge is brand new and has incredible facilities for where it is. Could not recommend enough!
nothing - exceeded expectations.

This place is AMAZING staying directly on the lake everything is on hand to experience living on Lake titacaca first hand. Isaac and his family are incredible hosts and we loved it. Food was great and the views spectacular.
Be careful of the altitude as my wife got sick but other then that there was nothing!

Beautiful family & home. They took great care of me & couldn’t have asked for more. Breakfast was also fantastic. Lots of love to this family.

Gladys & Isaac are very good hosts. They made sure that we were comfortable on the island. Gladys is a great cook, so we enjoyed dining all day long. We took advantage of early check-in and late check-out because that's how the bus to Puno brought us. They are incredible!
There was nothing that we disliked. The height of Lake Titicaca - 3800 m above sea level requires health.

The stay with Isaac and Gladis was awesome! They made us feel welcome and comfortable. They have solar power on the island so we had electricity and warm water. It gets cold in the night but there are enough blankets to keep you warm. Gladis is an excellent cook! Breakfast consisted of a lot of fresh fruit and bread, tea and coffee, fresh juice, eggs and even a bit of cake and for 25/s per meal she will also prepare lunch and dinner for you. We also made a boat tour and went fishing which was fun.
There were no towels in the room but that was not a problem as we just used our beach towels.

Isac and Gladys truly are very special hosts. Easy to see why their hospitality earns such high ratings. So much was included in the price during our one night stay on this unique floating island - such as breakfast, a boat tour, a fishing trip and photo opportunities in traditional dress - that made it great value. Communication possible via Whatsapp. Isac met us at the jetty (Embarcado Qalapajra, Av. Uros Chulluni), which is a 15 min taxi jouney from Puno (PEN 10-15), and took us by boat to the family island. Additional meals PEN 250. Own cabin with hot shower. Clean and comfortable, with plenty of bedding as can get a bit cold after sundown. Highly recommended, rather than staying in Puno itself.

Super friendly hosts. Isaac and Gladys made us feel like at being at home. The food was the best we had in Peru so far! The island is a really relaxing and beautiful place.
