Excellent house and location. We really lucked out with the weather - sunny skies and absent to little wind. Nice neighborhood with several nearby fishing guides.

Thank you Kathy. We all had a great time and being right on the water is great with plenty to do. Would do again. The older teens, 19 and 20 enjoyed it also. Sylvia

What can I say that hasn't already been said in other reviews about Kathy Heacock's properties? It is as advertised and more. If you are looking for a place to relax by the ocean and get away from the hustle and bustle, this is the place. We have rented properties from Cape Cod to Key West, California, Hawaii and 13 Caribbean Islands. We have returned to various places, but never to the same property. However, we will absolutely return to Camp David next winter.
If they rewrote the 1980's book,In Search of Excellence, they need to include Kathy's Abaco Palms Properties for how to run a vacation rental business. We own two rentals properties and our stay at Camp David has inspired us to upgrade our rentals. For example, she provides five boats for four rental properties...who else would do that??? I own a boat. It is very expensive to maintain, when used properly. If you rent one of her properties and use one of the boats, please take note of where all of the sand bars are located at low tide before venturing out. I witnessed two different boats drive right over the sand bar near low tide traveling at fast speeds which damaged the motors.
Kathy's customer service is second to none. She provides a tremendous amount of information regarding the property, as well as, things to do in Abaco and restaurants to visit. We highly recommend the Sandpiper Inn and to utilize Debbie Burrows for dine-in experiences, her lobster salad was awesome and she is a very nice person.

They two properties I rented were Abaco Palms and Calypso. They were both amazing rentals. The beach views were awesome the use of the 2 boats were amazing made the trip even better. Had some friends find 2 blue holes and they dived them. They said it was amazing to have access to them. Would recommend to rent any property from Kathy she is amazing lady great to deal with. No issues at all with staying at both homes. You are away from town so will need to rent a car to get back and forth for food and lots of beer if you to happen to drink. The sunsets were amazing the water was wonderful. All my friends enjoyed themselves. Again great place to go and rent from some amazing people.

Our family of 6 adults and a 6 year old boy thoroughly enjoyed our week at Abaco Palms, Feb. 16-23, 2019. The house, its water craft, the beach, and Marsh Harbour all combined to make for an amazing time.
It’s located on a lovely beach with sand bars and several small islands in view. There are no resorts in the area, only other homes occupied by tourists and locals, so our neighborhood wasn’t congested or loud and the beach felt quite private. We walked the beach in both directions every day and also on the road behind the house.
Abaco Palms was comfortable and well-equipped with beach craft including a small motor boat, and a number of paddle boards and kayaks which we used a lot. The water was relatively shallow, depending on the tide, which was nice for walking and looking for shells.
We ate breakfast and dinner at the house and went out for lunch each day. The kitchen was well-equipped, and it was great to have a dishwasher and gas grill. Also a clothes washer and dryer. In the evenings we used the large hot tub. The palapa and hammock were nice, too. . We kept our rental car in the parking spot under an overhang so it stayed cool there in the shade.
Kathy Heacock was a joy to work with. She promptly answered all my questions via email, sent a lot of info ahead of time and provided more in a binder in the living room.
To celebrate my husband’s 80th birthday we hired Debbie Burrows to cater a dinner. She cooked it at the house and everything was delicious, especially the conch fritters. Thanks, Kathy, for recommending her.
We made use of the board games provided and also the wonderful keyboard/piano in the living room. Our son and grandson played it every day. What a bonus to have that.
The beds were comfortable and each bedroom had a ceiling fan and its own bathroom. The neighborhood was peaceful at night, great for sleeping. We felt safe there.
The people of Abaco were very friendly. Kathy’s property caretakers were great – we met Elmer and Cathy, Rex and Judie, and Julian. Even a man delivering some product from Ace Hardware was so personable and gave us suggestions for restaurants. The whole vibe on the island was laidback and welcoming.
We would highly recommend Abaco Palms if you’re looking for a quality property in a quality location for a relaxing beach vacation. We’re hoping to go back. With the snow and ice we’ve had lately in WI, I wish we could be there now!

We loved the house and the beach. The rooms were large with amazing view and so nice to have a bathroom for each bedroom. The house did have some spices that we had forgotten and made cooking in so much nicer. The locals were super friendly and helpful. The best part of this vacation and the home was Kathy. She is the best home owner I have ever met. Super friendly and just a pleasure to talk to and is so knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend this house to anyone looking for a great vacation spot.

Beautiful beach, accommodations, and more!!! Kokomo was thoroughly clean and well-maintained, with gorgeous beach/view, excellent floor plan (privacy for grandparents and adult children plus baby), and every resource we could want for home, beach/water adventures (nice boat, kayaks/canoes, beach towels & children's toys, fishing/snorkling gear, etc.). The Heacocks are genuinely gracious hosts. We look forward to returning to Abaco Palms!!!

We just stayed at Camp David for 20 nights on a family vacation. It was amazing! The house was clean and well stocked with anything you could need. Kathy has every detail covered. The beach and boat were great for exploring, the water is calm and clear which was perfect for our smaller children. We all enjoyed the hot tub and all Camp David has to offer. Casuarina Point is a wonderful place for a family to get away. We hope to make his our vacation spot again in the future!

The cottage was big, bright, clean and comfortable. Ample seating if you have a large group. Can't complain about the views either....especially from the hot tub. Lots of equipment to play with - kayaks, paddle boards, and a fishing skiff. Excellent communication with Kathy, the property owner. She was always quick to reply to emails, very professional, and very accommodating. The cottage had a binder full of information - cottage instructions, maps, tide schedules and what to do/where to go. We will be back!

Our family greatly enjoyed our stay at Abaco Palms which was a Wonderful Private Beach House at Casuarina Point, near Marsh Harbour Bahamas. It was like having our own private resort. We had a beautiful beach right out the back door of our beach house with the use of a motor boat, kayaks, surf boards, paddle boards, and other beach items. 100 yards out was some wonderful snorkeling reefs and many areas to fish. A Tiki Hut, Large Hot Tub, a hammock are all available to use. At night the sheer numbers of visible stars in the sky made it difficult to pick out the normal visible consolations. We had 3 couples and one single and plenty of room for all. The property was clean and kept well for a beach house. The owners were fantastic! We were lucky enough to have been there the same time Kathy and Gary were staying a few houses down the beach and they were very warm and welcoming to our family and very helpful during our stay. We with great enthusiasm recommend this property to family, friends or anyone looking to get away for a while. You can either cook, have someone cook for you or visit restaurants North in Marsh Harbour or South at the Sandpiper. Also plan a day trip to Hope Town and visit the lighthouse there. It's a quick ferry ride from Marsh Harbour. We did so much and had such a good time that I could go on and on. 5 Stars from the Blacklidge Family!

We had 6 adults at this property mid-June of 2017. Most everything we needed was there & the kitchen was well-appointed. The dear housekeeper, Anthionette, stocked in basic food and liquor for us, so we could hit the ground running! And Kathy, the property owner, was as helpful as could be!The only negatives were that the boat motor conked out when some of our party was quite a ways out in the sound and they had to row back, and we experienced several power blackouts which made cooking a real chore for one of our big dinners (thank goodness for the grill!).Beautiful location and the beach is fantastic. At low tide, especially, the water is quite shallow for a very long way out, so perfect for kids too.

Our group of eight adults -- all fly fishermen and women -- stayed from May 1-9, 2017 and everyone agrees that we had an absolutely great stay at Abaco Palms. Property owners, Kathy and Gary Heacock, were hands-on all the way, from start to finish, providing plenty of information about the property, where to buy groceries, who to contact for guides, etc. And once on site, they were easily contacted with any questions that came up.The house -- right on the water with a pristine beach -- includes a lower deck for their kayaks and paddle boards, a shower for rinsing, a small bathroom, and an inside storage closet for inner tubes and more. The upper deck has plenty of seating for reading or dining, and the nearby hot tub was very clean. The 4-bedroom/4-bathroom layout was perfect; lots of hot water for showers; dining table comfortably seated eight; well-stocked kitchen with plenty of nice serving pieces and lots of silverware; the washer and dryer were essential since we fished everyday; the living area had plenty of seating. Internet worked well and the cable tv was great, although we mainly used it for background music when we dined. Kathy provides a landline with free local calls which really helped when we had to stay in touch with our local fishing guides. When we made our reservations for the house, the 16' skiff and kayaks seemed like a nice touch, but they turned out to be much more than that: they were perfect for getting to and from the island across the way to fly fish and we kayaked around the area almost every day. The neighborhood, Casaurina Point, is great -- plenty of privacy but not so secluded that we didn't see folks while walking along the beach. You will need transportation. All of our group would highly recommend the property.

WOW! This was truly one of the best vacations we have ever had. We were 3 couples all reaching 50 and we considered chartering a yacht for the week but this turned out way better. The back porch is amazing and the ocean was like a postcard. We were all so glad we chose this house as it fit us perfectly. We rented a van to go into Marsh Harbour and though it was a good 20 minute drive... we planned excursions for every other day so as to allow plenty of time to chill. The beds were super comfy, the AC was great, the outdoor shower and hot tub were awesome.. and the whole experience was just a blessing! We chartered a large catamaran with "Bruce" at sailtheabacos.com. What a fantastic day of snorkeling and sightseeing. We also went to Hopetown one day and rented bikes. Fly fishing can't be beat as well. We topped off the week with an incredible, artful cuisine from chef Antonio of the Oasis restaurant. He and his staff came to the house for a meal we won't soon forget! Can't wait to come back to this paradise in Abaco. The Heacocks truly thought of everything to make this an unforgettable vacation destination!!

We stayed in Calypso last June (15/2015). I am giving 3 stars and not 5 for 2 specific reasons: the water is too shallow to swim in (it is knee deep at most for a long distance from the shore, so pretty much only toddlers can enjoy it) , and it is too far from town (20-25 minutes by car so if you need to head to Marsh Harbor for anything, you have to plan accordingly. If as a traveler, swimming in deep clear turquoise caribbean water is high on your list of activities you want to enjoy, then I would choose another location besides the general Casuarina point area. We did a day trip to Treasure Cay and the water and beach there are far nicer, and we also did a day trip to Hope Town and the Atlantic beach side is beautiful in terms of water . If I were to go back to Abacos, I would pick a location along Treasure Cay or the Atlantic side of Hope Town
The things we liked still about Calypso is that it is good enough for 8 people (we were 2 families, 4 adults and 4 kids), it is very close to shore so you can sit in the patio and watch the kids very closely on the beach. Also, there is a nice reef that one can reach by the boat from shore (about 5-10 minutes by boat from shore) that has a good variety of fish , corals and also a turtle . We went twice to that reef by boat and saw the turtle 2 days in a row! getting the boat started was a little tricky for us and it takes a little effort to get is moored once you reach the reef. The owners left a nice map in the house that shows how to reach the reef.

Our group of four couples from Maine stayed at Abaco Palms in April and were delighted with our stay.
The weather, the accommodations, the island were wonderful.
Our group loves the sunshine, fishing, relaxing, exploring and snorkeling and our week on the island provided all of that.
The owners of Abaco Palms were helpful in having their home well set up and readily available in answering tons of questions before our arrival.
It is a quiet island and not rushed as other islands we have been to.
As you might imagine, everything is imported so if you have luggage space, consider bringing in frozen meat (yes frozen meat) and paper products.
The grocery stores are plentiful and about twice the cost that is in the states.
If you find conch shells in the water - there is probably a hermit crab hiding in it.
We were surprised when we thought we found empty conch shells and brought them home.
We have nothing but wonderful pictures and memories of Abaco Palms and the island.
We have nothing but thanks for the time available by the owners of this lovely home.

Our second year at Abaco Palms exceeded the first! Knowing more about all of the fun waterside restaurants, places to go, and beautiful areas made it feel like home. The accommodations are 5 star. we had friends joining us and there was plenty of room with each bedroom ensuite. The guys, seasoned fly fishermen, were 14 again and fished for bones every day and then went just out front to the deeper water and came back with Mahi Mahi! Already Counting the days to 3! Thanks Kathy!!!!!

“There is not enough I can say about Kathy and Abaco Palms! Not only was the house and location beautiful, but Kathy is the picture of an ideal hostess. From her quick response time while booking to the extensive recommendation booklet inside the home, Kathy took care of every detail. As for Abaco Palms, no picture can do this location justice. The seclusion and serenity has a private island vibe where you can walk down the white sand beach for miles. I would also like to note that as this was a girls' trip, we felt completely safe at all times. While the surroundings are more than enough to stay at Abaco Palms, the accommodations are incredible. The home is stocked like an executive rental and was extremely well maintained and clean. The home had a little skiff, paddle boards and kayaks that made for great active afternoons exploring the reefs nearby. I could easily imagine a large family or group of friends saying comfortably here for weeks on end. Thank you, Kathy for a weekend we will cherish for years to come!

We have traveled to several different Bahamian Islands and rentals, and for the first time we all (2 families totaling 7 people) found the spot that had everything for everyone. Excellent accommodations, beach, shelling, fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding, etc. We all agreed that we cannot wait for our return trip back to Camp David. The perfect DIY for everything!

Just finished our second trip to Camp David! This is a spacious, exceptionally appointed, quiet and comfortable villa overlooking a tranquil bay with gorgeous blue water. The house offers everything one could ask for and more; an incredible beach, great shelling, terrific bone fishing, motor boat, paddle boarding, kayaking and a hot tub right outside your door!

My sister and I stayed at the Calypso house with our spouses and children (total 10) and we had an amazing vacation! The set up of the house was great, all the bedrooms were on the back of the house or upstairs, with the main living area in the front of the house. There was plenty of seating for all of us, and a deck we could all enjoy together too! The beach was perfect for families as the water is shallow at low tide, the kids just loved walking out looking for sea life. The rental house had all the kayaks and paddleboards we needed, and there was even a river just a short walk away where we could go for a long kayak ride. I would highly recommend this spot!

We vacationed at Abaco Palms Properties recently (from September 26th through October 3rd). We have traveled many places over the past forty years including the Bahamas several times, and I have never written a letter of recommendation before. We were introduced to Abaco Palms Properties by friends and looked forward to exploring a place we had never been. We stayed in 'Camp David' which far exceeded our expectations. We appreciated all the amenities of this gorgeous, completely furnished, specious home which we absolutely loved, including the breathtaking beach front views (white sand and ocean). The spa, motor boat, paddleboards etc. were all an added bonus. It was so convenient having at our disposal the small necessary essentials we did not bring with us and did not have to rush out to purchase.
It would be very remiss of me if I did not mention how accommodating Abaco Palms Properties management was in making our entire trip effortless from reservation until our return home and always being readily available to us. Please accept our deepest appreciation and know that it will be our utmost pleasure in recommending your properties to all our friends and family.
Thank you again for a spectacular experience.

This place is very special.
My mission was to find a place that exceeded the requirements of:
bone fishing sons, (I know ladies first but who do you think taught them to bonefish?),
3 beach loving/just starting to snorkel/water loving grandchildren (3,4,6),
Absolutely Amazing (and slightly spoiled) wife (just kidding... after many years of crappy motels she will not stay in anything less than a nice hotel with ample towels and good bedding, think top of Bellagio) and
terrific scuba diving/mom of the year daughter in law.
Abaco Palms worked, the beach is very safe, we let the kids run free. The bone fishing in the Marls with JR Albury and his brother Dee was epic, the snorkeling off the beach islands was perfect for the "littlest" and the ladies were very happy. The wine selection on islands was adequate, the rum cheap and the beer cold.
This is not a place for townies or party animals.
To be honest, it's really not a good idea for me to write this review.
But, after meeting Kathy and Gary and all the local folks I wanted to share this slice of heaven with some other grandpa who gets a similar challenge.
We chartered from Air Charters out of FLL and they were great, the only other advice is try to plan your meals and provision accordingly to save trips to town.
The ferry to Elbow Cay was great, you can get a ticket deal if you buy a 5 pack round trip. Get off the ferry at the first stop to see the 151 yr old lighthouse and they will let you back on to jump across to the main town. We happened upon The Hometown Harbor Hotel which was great as we were a little hot, the food was good, they allow visitors to use the pool, the beach view was epic and had cold beer!!!
If you have not been out of Nassau you have not been to the Bahamas, these are called the "family islands" and once you visit you will know why... man that delete key's looking BIG... send send quick

We had a great time in Abaco, Bahamas and at the Camp David home (Abaco Palms Realty/Kathy Heacock). The house has everything you need in it. It is a very nice house right on the beach and the view is spectacular. The kayaks, sail boards, and skiff boat were an added bonus, as was the hot tub and hammock. We made our way around the area and to Duck Cay and the very small Island closest to shore to snorkel, swim, etc. Debbie the housekeeper cooked dinner for us on Monday night for my son’s 9th birthday and it was great (conch fritters, grilled chicken, lobster, mac & cheese and rumbly thum, with a birthday cake).
We found the blue hole that was south of Casuarina but never found the one on the side of the road to the north. That was fascinating. We visited Treasure Cay and Guana Cay (snorkeling at the beach reefs there was neat). We found the reefs by the small island near Camp David but never found any others in that area. We saw sea turtles daily just south of Camp David, star fish, sea biscuits, a flying fish, lots of birds, etc.
It is a vacation to remember and we want to return some day.

I wanted to take my entire family to a tropical beach house for a once-in-a-lifetime vacation adventure. We also had two small grandchildren along and we needed to accomodate for them. When I researched Abaco Palms online, it developed into the perfect spot for what we wanted as an experience. As I started dealing with the owner Kathy, who was extremely helpful, encouraging and enthusiastic about making our stay at Abaco Palms the best it could be, I realized we'd found a bit of a gem. On our day of arrival, we were greeted with a wonderfully clean and accomodating large house with ocean beachfront and a clean beach in a quiet subdivision tucked down-island at Abaco, Bahamas. The amenities with the property were great, a powered boat, kayaks, beach toys, modern appliances and furniture, clean, comforable beds, modern bathrooms, hot tub and barbeque. We spent our days fishing, snorkeling, boating, walking on the beach and touring the sites on Abaco and neighboring islands. The best part for the family was the idyllic location to relax and enjoy each other's company, a great place to get some visiting done as a family. Thanks to Kathy and Gary for their great service and upkeep on the properties. It is our full intention to come back to Abaco very soon and again enjoy the best of tropical life in such a fine setting.

My husband and I have always been fans of adventure and water. We took our whole family, two daughters and their families including 5 grandchildren to Abaco Palms. This was the best decision ever ! The houses we were in, Camp David and Kokomo were fabulous, open and with outstanding views and access to reefs, fly fishing for bonefish and all kinds of boating fun with outboards and kayaks. Each home is complete with anything you might need. Our family loves to cook and the kitchens were great ! However, there were restaurants you could go to and best of all "Debbie Burrows" a wonderful caterer from Andros that now lives on Abaco. You can find all of this on Kathy Heacock's website at Abaco Palms. We will be back. By the way a honey moon couple was at one of Kathy's houses near us and they also thought their vacation was the best, secluded but with lots of fun adventures close by.

The beautiful crescent shaped inlet is one that is beyond words. Afternoons and nights on the porch and in the hot tub are indescribable. Camp David is a beautiful home that has amenities like one's personal home. Our family (child age 17 and 12) thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Camp David. The use of the Carolina Skiff makes the trip unforgettable. Each day we went our and adventured. We chased a shark (a few times) and used the go-pro, we made videos of rays, saw puffer fish, star fish in abundance the size of dinner plates, and had some great footage while snorkeling. One day while walking while the tide was low, we even saw two sharks mating and took a video for my science class. IF YOU ARE A BONE FISHERMAN, this is the place for you. In fact, people come from all over to Casaurina Point to do this type of fishing.
While there, you must follow lots of Kathy's advice which is on her website. For example, go buy some lobsters (if out of season) and cook on her grill. Make sure you get someone to take you out a little deeper and catch some snapper. We did. The fresh snapper cooked in the oven (whole) for about 25 minutes and then put on the grill were to die for. Nothing was better than the three nights we cooked at home and enjoyed the view.
Make sure you rent a car from the suggested place that Kathy has on the website. The car was clean and the people nice to work with. We enjoyed using the car to travel to Pete's Pub (twice). The food is good there. Take the walk over the walkway to to rocks and go out to see where the old lighthouse stood.
We stayed at Camp David for six nights. Then we moved on to Hope Town for four nights. When we come back, we will stay at Camp David for the entire ten nights, use the Carolina Skiff for close proximity of the home, and rent the same 26' boat from BlueWave Rentals that we had the last four nights for the entire trip. By doing so, we will have the perfect house, setting, fun nearby, and a way to travel to other islands for just the day or afternoon. (You would have to moor the boat a little deeper and make sure to know the tides as far as taking the bigger boat out.)
Without a doubt, I would return again and again. In fact, I would love to bring my son and a couple of friends for his senior trip. One can not ask for a better host or hostess than Gary and Kathy. Both go above and beyond to help one plan and and feel at home. Stay at Camp David. YOU WILL LOVE IT!! Abacopalms.c

Our stay at Abaco Palms was our favorite vacation ever! The home is beautiful and the beach is wonderful. Having the van, boat and kayaks was a huge bonus. Kathy has thought of everything and makes sure you have all the information you need. She and Gary are wonderful people to work with. I would give this place more than 5 stars if possible. It really is paradise!

As an acknowledged beach snob I can whole-heartedly endorse Abaco Palms as the perfect family vacation location. This is a beautiful home on a gorgeous stretch of deserted beach. Everything about our experience was perfect. Kathy (owner) was spot-on her attention to details and Fix-It Guy Mike down the street was at the house immediately when we had a question/concern. Not to be missed is the sand spit just up the beach that appears at low tide; the best place to chill and great for photo-ops! Very helpful to have a competent boater in your party to get you to places that are too far to kayak.

Had another perfect vacation at Abaco Palms. This was our third year in a row to stay here. I would still highly recommend this house to any family looking for a great beach vacation. The owner goes above and beyond to make your stay special!!
We used the van to explore the island and the boat to explore the reefs...the best of both worlds.

Sad to say... our vacation went much too fast, but we made the most of our time in the Bahamas. We all agree that we definitely made the right choice when we picked Kokomo as our Abacos destination. Waking up in this great home and looking out at the spectacular view was the perfect way to start each morning.
Other than the heavy rain on our arrival day, we had wonderful weather and took advantage of it by taking the boat out for part of each day of our stay. Michael became proficient with the Hawaiian sling and even I managed to spear a large ocean perch. We snorkeled, fished, and explored much of the Cherokee Sound area, including a fun afternoon at a Blue Hole (we caught several nice snapper and lost a couple of large ones). Our day trip over to Hope Town was fun. It was exactly what we pictured an island town would be. We wandered, shopped, and had lobster and fries at Munchies. In Marsh Harbour, we made our way to Snappas, Wally's, Pete's Bar, Nancy's at Sandy Point, and Treasure Cay. All in all, I'm not sure we could have done much more. However, our early mornings and late evenings at the house were probably the most special times. We sat on the deck and talked, enjoyed cooking meals together, played scrabble after dinner (while we watched Miami win their series against Boston), and stargazed from the hot tub. It really was the experience we were looking for and even more than expected.
Thank you for sharing this beautiful home (and beach) with us. What wonderful memories we will take home with us...

All I can say is WOW! We have stayed all over and never had a place better that Abaco Palms. From the great house to the Van, Boat, Kayak's everything was first class. Kathy was so responsive that she seem to answer questions before they were asked. Her dedication to details was outstanding. She has thought of everything you might need for your vacation. With 8 kids from ages 2-12 there was something for all of them. The beach, fishing, relaxing, it was just great. I have tried to think of something that might have been wrong or not up to par and the only thing was one of the clocks in one of the 4 spacious bedrooms did not work, but who needs a clock in paradise. If you want to treat your family or yourself to a first class vacation don't wait to book your stay a Abaco Palms. On second thought let me book my next stay first.

We (two couples) stayed at Kokomo for a week. The home, appliances, furnishings and other amenities are very high quality and well maintained. The view from the deck, especially at sunset is fantastic, and the beach is inviting. Having a boat at our disposal was a big plus and we used it for fishing, accessing the reefs and small islands for snorkeling, and checking out the blue holes.
Kathy is extremely well organized and made the whole rental process easy and personal. She answered my many questions almost before (it seemed) I could ask them and provided us with loads of interesting information about Abaco and the Bahamas. The bottle of sparkling wine waiting for us when we arrived was a thoughtful touch.
I feel anyone wanting to experience Abaco for a week, or more, will not be disappointed if you do so staying at the Heacock’s Kokomo house. We highly recommend it.

We keep singing " Hanging out in Abaco"!!!!!! OMG the house was so
beautiful and comfortable, with everything you could want! We did not have
the best weather but..... you could still read , swim, eat, drink, walk,
etc. all the things you could do in the sun and beach!!! We had a FABULOUS
time and can not wait to get back. Thinking of bringing our whole family
there in April 2013!!!!!!!!!!
Judy was FAB, so helpful and like I had known her forever, and we had
dinner at the house one night and Corrine cooked, yum!!!!!!
You have outdone yourself, thank you!!!! Will be sending pics and is it
possible to get a copy of the CD with Kokomo and Hangin Out in Abaco???????
The CD that was in the van. I would HIGHLY recommend your properties for
vacations to all

We rented the Kokomo vacation home. Kathy was easy to work with, responded quickly to questions and provided detailed, accurate information about the home and Abaco Island. We loved the beautiful beach right at the doorstep and the stunning colors of the water. The home is well-appointed and well-kept; the addition of a couple of fishing rods would be great. The inclusion of the van and skiff were much appreciated. The kayaks are in great condition, and we enjoyed using them to explore the nearby islands. The Marsh Harbour shops were reasonably priced (groceries, fresh fish, and bakery) and we really enjoyed the local restaurants (Mangoes, Curly Tails, and Snappas). We fell in love with the island and Kokomo; we can’t wait to return! This was by far our most relaxing vacation.

We had a wonderful stay at Abaco Palms. Everything was just as it was stated in the description. The owner Kathy was so easy to work with. She made sure all our questions were answered and made us feel very comfortable in her vacation home. We have 9 & 10 year old boys who had a great time exploring the surrounding beach, snorkeling, swimming and boating. My husband loves to fish and he did just that everyday. This was by far our best family vacation. We will definitely be coming back. It was nice to arrive at the house and know that dinner would be arriving for us that evening. Highlights of our trip: Pete's Pub, Treasure Cay, finding a message in a bottle, blue hole swimming, snorkeling at the reefs right in front of the house, kayaking, fishing and most importantly relaxing. We really enjoyed the friendly people of Abaco.

Exactly as pictured, well stocked, everything was wonderful. Will be back for sure. Recommend fishing and grilling. Enjoyed Snappas and Mangos in town for lunch, Maxwell's for groceries and Conch Salad and Fresh Conch and Crawfish by vendors was fabulous. Truly a wonderful vacation....

We stayed at the Kokomo Villa for the second time in two years with our best friends. When we arrived it truly was like coming home again and we knew it was going to be hard to say goodbye when the time came. We were fortunate enough to be here when the owners, Kathy and Gary, were also here in their other house (the Abaco Palms) and so we got to meet them. They are a delight and Kathy really is a great person to work with in making your vacation one you will never forget. The van was waiting for us at the airport and that is such a wonderful perk. It is BIG, so we had room for us, our luggage (and we don't like to travel light), and the trip into Marsh Harbour to pick up supplies before we headed to Casurina Point. We used the Skiff and that was such fun to get to go and visit the islands close by. Kathy has the times of low and high tide available there too. As to the villa itself, it is beautiful and everything that you could possibly need is right there. The beach is really nice and we walked for miles picking up shells and treasures of the sea. Once again we had a most memorable vacation and are already yearning for the next time when we can return. I know you will love it.
