About this cabin rental
Get away from all the hustle and bustle. Come sit by a cozy fire while drinking a cup of hot chocolate. Bring friends and family on a fun vacation up to Brian Head, UT located in the heart of Southern Utah's most beautiful landscapes. Great for hiking, biking, fishing, photography, 4-wheeling, skiing, snowboarding, inner tubing etc. Come and experience one of the most memorable vacations.
Our beautiful, sunny and spacious cabin is located in paved neighborhood of Trails at Navajo. It is nestled in the trees on the Navajo slopes with ski-in ski-out accommodations. We have all the modern amenities that you enjoy at home including a well stocked kitchen, stainless steel appliances, a large sunlit family room, extra-long dining table for all your family and friends and a bonus basement with large flat screen TV with a large selections of movies.
Accommodations:
Our home is a 6 bedroom, 4 ¼ bath home with beds for 19. We also have 2 twin inflatables and a port-a-crib. We have plenty of sheets, blankets, pillows and towels so no need to fill your cars with these. We provide shampoo, conditioner, bar soap, soft soap, dishwasher soap etc.
Winter:
We recommend that you take advantage of the wonderful ski and snowboard instruction available at Brian Head especially the kids camp at the Navajo Resort. It is inexpensive and fun. The resort offers both group and private snowboard or skiing instructions. They have lift ticket and lesson packages. Go to Brian Head.com to make reservations ahead of time especially during the holidays. Please be aware there are 2 ski resorts connected by a bridge. Giant steps resort has the more advanced skiing. There are also 2 inner tube parks.
Unless you are purchasing a package, we prefer Georg's for equipment rental. They have it all including skis, snowboards, snowshoes, cross country equipment and winter clothing. Ask for the Harpster discount.
Spring/Summer/Fall:
The resort offers biking, hiking, 4 wheeling and fishing tours. On summer weekends in town there are several activities for the kids including alpine slide, zip line, climbing wall and bungee trampoline to name a few. There is also the new lake including a playground, basketball court, pickle ball court, picnic benches and fire pits. A short distance away is Cedar Breaks, Navajo Lake, Panguitch Lake and Bryce Canyon. We also enjoy the Shakespeare Festival in Cedar City in the Summer and Fall. They offer a variety of professional plays and even have baby sitting available. Go to Bard.org for information. Cedar City Aquatic Park is worth the drive. It has multiple pools inside and out including a lazy river, giant slide, play equipment and much more.
We recommend that you drink LOTS of water on the way up. Sports drinks offering electrolytes are even better. The elevation of our home is 9,800 ft. The base at Giant Steps is 10,000 ft.
Food services are limited at Brian Head. Cedar City has a Smiths, Walmart and Lins for groceries. Parowan has a smaller store called Food Town. Please note it closes at 9:00 pm. There are also two small markets in Brian Head. They are a little pricey but great for forgotten items.
Most importantly…. Relax, enjoy, have fun and make yourself at home.........

We have stayed here for 5 years in a row. We always return because it is well supplied and has everything we need.

We've been coming to BH for the past 5 years for a family ski trip and this was hands down the best property we've stayed at! The location is perfect and the cabin has all the amenities you could ask for. The cabin is clean, comfortable, and has the perfect layout for 4 families. Being able to ski-in and out saves so much time. Even our young ones were able to make the short walk back to the cabin. Gwen is a wonderful and responsive host. We will be back!

I’ve lost track of how many years we have stayed at this property. And every year it’s wonderful.
The owner is very responsive and helpful.

Liked the cabin however it wasn’t a true ski-in/ski-out. Kids had a really hard time getting back. The living area by kitchen really needs a flat screen with seating that is comfortable. Other than that everything was fine.

We were able to have a white Christmas with our kids and grandkids. Fun skiing with the teen grandkids and playing in the snow with the toddlers. Family fun all the way around. The house fit all of us comfortably

We had a great time with family and friends. The cabin was clean and well stocked. The setting is beautiful. It was exactly what we were hoping for. We are already making plans to return for the ski season.

This was my first time to Brianhead. What a beautiful area! The property was perfect for our gathering. We had ten adullts and nine children ranging from five to twelve. Everything made for a wonderful trip. Plenty of areas to spread out but large areas where we could all play games and have a great time together. Very homey, not luxurious, just comfortable. We’ll certainly consider a return trip!

We had a great stay at the Brian Head Cabin. The grandkids loved all the toys in the basement. Adults spent time on the deck. The use of the bbq and the well stocked kitchen made cooking easy. The number of bathrooms was a bonus having the large group that we did. The place was well kept and clean. If visiting the area you can’t go wrong with this lovely cabin.

Another very successful vacation at this beautiful cabin in Brian Head. I believe this is our fourth or fifth stay here and will not be our last. Gwen is just amazing to work with and her cabin has everything you could ever want. Wish we could stay longer but we have to return to work. Cabin is always spotless, kitchen has everything you would need and very spacious. Doesn't get any better than here. We are already planning for our next trip here next year.

We loved staying at this beautiful mountain home. It is nestled on a picturesque mountain side with privacy and yet is close to services and retail stores.
We loved the roominess of the great room, kitchen and family room. The bedrooms were spacious and accommodated many people. Gwen was terrific to work with and left clear instructions. We are already looking forward to spending time there again.

Everything about this rental worked wonderfully for our large group of 5 families (17 individuals). So many beds, large dining table with extra seating, every appliance you’d need (2 waffle irons!) wrap around deck, multiple TVs, toys for children, a room where teens can gather, quiet surroundings and easy access to hikes, ATV trails, water fun and Cedar Breaks. Even though we live at 5000 feet, I’d forgotten how dry the air is at 10000 feet. Gwen has thoughtfully provided lotion in every room! Right in the middle of the forest, being on the deck was always relaxing. We came in July - the weather was perfect - but it looks like a perfect setup for a ski holiday. Hosts are very responsive.

Lower level bedroom (with attached bathroom) chest of drawers were totally unuseable because when they were pulled out they would fall out. Same bedroom door was difficult to lock.

My sisters and I bring our families here every year and we love staying in this house. It's spacious, clean, and comfortable for our big group. The kids love having their own space in the basement complete with toys and an entertainment center. The owners are extremely helpful and responsive. We can't wait to book again for next year.

3 generations all had a great time. Ski out easier than ski in. The house was very comfortable for all of us. Seperate living room and TV entertainment room. Good spaces for different age groups to socialize.

Once again we had an amazing time. This cabin is roomy, cozy, beautiful, and amazing! We love it here! Super easy to get to and from the slopes. We stayed for 8 nights with 13 people and we had way too much space! Bedrooms and bathrooms perfectly stocked. Kitchen has everything you need to feed everyone. This beautiful home had everything we needed to make a family vacation fabulous. The kids went sledding at the end of the cul de sac. If you are a beginner on the mountain no need to ski in and ski out as Navajo is super close. The owners are super responsive. As a an avid skier and someone who rents homes to ski, this property is on the top of our list. We will be back! Thank you for everything Gwen!

Spacious, rustic home easily accommodated our group of 18, including young children. The kitchen area was large and allowed for easy meal preparation and the large dining area was great for eating meals together. The bedrooms allowed for privacy; the downstairs bedrooms that accommodated 8 persons could have used a second bathroom. It was a wonderful place to celebrate Christmas week.

We had scheduled a family reunion in Brian Head for last Thanksgiving week which we canceled because of COVID-19. Rescheduled for a week in July, the 2 of us, our 3 children with spouses and 8 grandchildren. Everyone had a fantastic time and the accommodations were outstanding and perfect for our group. Kids ranged from almost 2 to 12. The bedrooms were perfect, the kitchen outstanding, location was great. We have been going to Brian Head since the late 1970’s but mostly in the 80’s and 90’s. First time with our grandchildren. Highly recommend this “cabin.” We plan to return annually if possible.

With the party of 8 adults and children from 3 to 19, we were able to play card games at the large dinning room table when the rains came. Lightening struck outside the Cabin and knocked out apple TV's and the Host/Owner came up the next day with replacements.
