We stayed here in the height of summer and while things were a bit quieter than I imagined during the high season, it was lovely. Everything was open the beaches, a short walk across the street but the cart and the chairs and the umbrella made even the hottest beach day enjoyable. They’re parking spaces so some friends from the area parked in our spot and we enjoyed a lovely day on the beach. Everything was clean. The AC worked well and the apartment was well appointed was across the street and some thing I missed reading in the listing, but my help pointed it all out to me, we had a great day and would definitely come again

Amazing host, Mike helped us a lot throughout our stay. He kept us to date with instructions and details. When we asked questions he would get back to us immediately. Both the villa and area were beautiful! Although our trip didn’t have the best weather, still loved our stay and service.

We had a wonderful week at this 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom place. It had everything we needed, from beach chairs to beach toys. The porch had beautiful views, and we even got to see dolphins and the beautiful sunset. We really enjoyed our stay. The location was amazing, close to everything! It was just across the street from the beach, making it very walkable. We also rented a golf cart to stroll around the island easily. Thanks Mike for sharing your home with us, we will look forward to come back!

This was a great location within walking distance of just about everything we wanted or needed. Or right next to the Trolley stop if wanted to explore a little further. Mike was great! So friendly and accommodating in any way he could! We hope to be back with the kids next time!

The owner was in constant contact and made the process seamless. The location is perfect so we didn't have to deal with any beach traffic which is worth it in itself. Perfect views and accomodations. The owner went to great legnths to make sure that the property had everything we needed including beach umbrellas and wagons to take to the beach. Overall awesome experience well worth the money. We will be back for sure!

We chose the 2 bed 2 bath apartment. The apartment was very clean and well appointed. The view from the deck was awesome, you can see sunset right from the deck. It’s also close to a lot of good restaurants and shopping. Will definitely come back again if we happen to visit the area again.

This was our 3rd stay on the island and the best place we've stayed yet. The house is well positioned, right across from the beach. The porch is awesome for sunsets. The house was comfortable and everything was really clean. We were also appreciative of the good condition of beach chairs/umbrella and wagon. It was great!! Thankyou We'll definitely be back!

My wife and I enjoyed a fantastic anniversary trip at Mike's place. Self check-in was a breeze and Mike did a very good job of communicating with us. The wrap around deck and views of the gulf is obviously the gem of this rental! We loved taking in the sunset from the deck each night. Inside is very clean, charming and has everything you need for cooking and the beach. The cooler, chairs, umbrella, and cart were so useful to have. We loved the location of where we were at. Only a couple minutes to walk to Bridge Street and all of the shopping, restaurants and bars there. We had plans to go up to Pine Street at the north end of Anna Maria one day, but once we parked our car - we never wanted to leave the area, and had no reason to. The beach across the street was not very busy with other people. It was so nice to feel like you had the beach to yourself. I would highly recommend Mike's place to anyone and we would gladly return!

This property was perfect for our needs. It was very clean, well-stocked, and comfortable. We had a very early morning flight and got to the area earlier than expected. We drove by the place to check it out and met the owner - he was very accomodating and gave us tips for the area and allowed us to check in early once all necessary cleaning had been completed. The beach area right across the street is perfect - it's one of the only areas that's not crowded. The owner mentioned the reason for that - I can't remember what it was, but it was definitely noticable - if you look at the beaches up and down from where we were, they were much more crowded. The place was very quiet inside. The views were beautiful. The sunsets were incredible. We could walk to restaurants and convenience stores, but parking was easy and driving anywhere we wanted to drive to was easy too. We will definitely come back!

My family of five, all adults, spent one of the most memorable vacations of our life in this Salty Living rental. The views of the Gulf, the deck, the prime location and the very comfortable apartment totally isolated from the heat and noise, gave us such great times that we know we will always remember. Walking to the beach and to the historic bridge street of Bradenton was really easy and quick. Mike, our host, stayed in touch with us for all we needed with great support and response. We all highly recommend this beautiful place!!

We had a great stay! We were a couple blocks to the beach and towels and chairs in the rental allowed us to pack light. The Bridge St. restaurants are a short walk, but the best restaurants and stroll was right over the Cortez bridge, only a 10 minute walk. Mike responded right away when we had questions about storage for an early checkin and helped us find grocery delivery- zero need for a car the entire week. The rental was very clean, especially appreciated by two ladies who don’t like Florida bugs. Thank you for a great visit! Enjoyed the outside porch almost as much as the beach.

This was our 2nd stay at the property and needless to say, we will be back again. Captain Mike’s property is perfect- super clean and comfortable. You can’t beat the location- close to beach, shops and restaurants. He’s thought of everything you could possibly need. We brought our kids (in their 20s) this year and they loved it too! The two bedroom unit was perfect size for our family of 3 adults. Very comfortable, well equipped kitchen, nice that it included beach chairs, cornhole, and other toys to enjoy the beach. The best feature for us was the large deck, with the high lifeguard style chairs which allowed us to see over the railing and watch the waves roll in while we sipped a frosty beverage! Plus the location allowed us to walk to shops and restaurants. Very much a plus in a place where parking is sometimes a challenge.

My husband and I and another couple stayed for a week in the two bedroom upper floor unit and had a great time. The rental is very clean, the kitchen setup is great, and the two bedrooms/two bathroom set up was convenient. The location is perfect for seeing the sunset and an easy walk to Bridge Street. The beach is right across the street and the beach wagon/chairs/umbrella provided are very handy. The large balcony has plenty of chairs for just hanging out and enjoying the salt air and beach town atmosphere. Mike is extremely helpful, responds promptly to all messages and a perfect host. I highly recommend Salty Living.

Mike, Thanks for your great hospitality last week! My family had the best time, and your property was a big part of it. Our favorite time was enjoying the sunsets from our own private balcony. When we made the reservation, I didn’t realize that the wrap around 2nd floor deck was just for us to enjoy! What a pleasant surprise. Water views from almost every side The property was so well maintained, and you have thought of every amenity that one would need.
