Throughly enjoyed our stay, we had a large party of 17 and the owners catered for our every need including high chairs, travel cots, tea, coffee and milk. The house was very clean and maintained to a high standard. The location is very private which was perfect as we were not disturbing other residents. The children were kept very busy as there is a games room which was equipped very well. The house is very spacious as well as the bedrooms and bathrooms. We really enjoyed our stay and we will be coming back in the future. Thank you.

We had a wonderful family holiday here.
We had a wonderful family holiday here. The owners are extremely accommodating; lovely people and very helpful. The barn was well equipped with everything you might need, we even baked a cake. The games room and barbecue all made our holiday special. The rural location means a drive to outside activities, but this was fine for us.
A couple of things that could make it even better are a few hooks in the bedrooms, somewhere to hang a dressing gown, or damp towel - there are bathroom radiators, but in summer a hook would be better than putting the radiator on.
There is an outdoor tap just outside the courtyard, we didn't find it straight away, but it proved invaluable for washing the dog's feet and our shoes if the local mud, that is better than UHU glue, sticks to your footwear.
We would recommend the Waggoners as a getaway.

Fantastic, superb and wonderful! Walking into Waggoners Barn there was genuine delighted silence as the family took in the stunning surroundings that greeted us. The Barn is finished to such a high standard and even the smallest details are perfect. On arrival we were greeted with wine and cake and not long after David came to check everything was in order and showed us how to work the hot tub. The beds are really comfortable, the Barn is spotlessly clean and the kitchens are full of all the equipment you could possibly need, and more! We loved the hot tub, the games room and the privacy and space to enjoy being with our family. It was lovely to meet Carol and her daughter who clearly work so hard to keep the cottages so perfect. We cannot wait to visit again

12 ladies stayed at Waggoners Barn for the weekend celebrating a hen party.
12 ladies stayed at Waggoners Barn for the weekend celebrating a hen party. The accommodation was superb offering a large open-plan kitchen/diner and living area which was very spacious and could seat all 12 of us! This is the area we spent most of our time as a group. There was enough space for us to cook and eat together as well as to take part in some games, listen to music, drink and also relax at the end of the evening. Directly outside was the hot tub so the group didnt need to move far to go from house to hot tub and could therefore stay together. This was a perfect property for our needs. Decor throughout the property had traditional features. It was warm with wood-burners in both living areas and individual thermostats for bedrooms.
The owners were seen each morning and were polite asking how our stay was going and letting us know to contact them if we needed them. Apart from that we didn't see anyone and was left to get on with our stay.
I would also recommend The Blacksmiths Arms, Rothwell which we visited on our last evening who made a huge effort with us helping us to celebrate our friends hen party (and is 15 minutes drive from the property). Lincoln is a way out (40 minute drive)but accessible by mini-bus and taxi and cost approximately £15 per person for return travel for the group (1 minibus plus 1 taxi, remember to pre-book well in advance as it is a rural location and therefore taxis are not plentiful.
All-in-all a great stay with some excellent memories.
