The Monteith District in
Albany is home to many delightful turn of the century homes. Walking down the streets is like a visit to the past. This unit is walking distance to many downtown restaurants, bars and shopping opportunities. We're also located kitty corner from Albany General Hospital, making this an ideal location for traveling medical professionals. Albany is located in the heart of the beautiful Willamette Valley, home to award winning Oregon wines. We're in very close proximity to many famous vineyards and wineries. And, of course, Oregon State University is just 11 miles away. For those wanting to venture further, the Oregon coast is about an hour and a half, but well worth the drive. The McKenzie River is 40 miles south and has some of the most beautiful scenery ever! We really are in a terrific location, so close to so many of Oregon's riches.
This apartment is just a half block from the bus stop. The Linn Benton Loop Bus makes a loop from Albany to Corvallis and Oregon State University and back several times during the day, stopping at Linn Benton Community College. The schedule changes on weekends. Albany also has several taxi services available and most everything in town is within a ten minute radius.
I really enjoy Airbnb hosting! Because I feel like there's a huge need, I've recently branched out my Airbnb operations to include the traveling professional community. I've put everything in this unit to make your business travel comfortable. But, if you're traveling for leisure, this unit is perfect, too! This apartment is a refreshing change from the hotels on Interstate 5. Located in the middle of Albany's medical community, the location is perfect. If you're on a 4 week (or more) traveling assignment, please ask about the discounted traveler rates.

My husband and I booked the apartment to be close to our daughter who was expecting her first child. The baby came early and Lee Anne was gracious in modifying our reservation in a timely manner and a partial refund was issued without problems.
The apartment is on a quiet street, private entrance, very clean and well appointed. We were very comfortable and Lee Anne is a delightful hostess. I would definitely utilize her place again if need be and recommend it to others needing something in the area.

A lovely 1 bedroom apartment in a very convenient, quiet location. Very clean, great grill, amenities, warm blankets and comfortable bed and pillows. She provided plenty of K cups, orange juice, yogurt and homemade banana bread. This was our second stay and plan to return in the future!

A perfect little cottage! We were able to walk downtown for shopping and farmers market, a close location. The bed was like a cloud!

Quaint and Comfortable
It was a cute little spot for us to rest our heads after hanging with family all day. Would definitely stay here again.

Adorable little apartment
The apartment was very modern, spotlessly clean, and with all of the necessary conveniences. Lee Anne greeted us shortly after we settled in, and had left delicious snacks in the refrigerator for us to enjoy the next morning. We wholeheartedly recommend this rental for anyone seeking a peaceful stay in the Albany area.

Lee Anne's apartment in Albany is a wonderful home away from home. It is within walking distance to downtown and several very good restaurants. I would recommend "Loafers". Lee Anne keeps surprising us with upgrades every year. This year a new BBQ patio and granite counters. It is always clean and well appointed. I would recommend a trip to the local wine country. We will be back next year once again.

Great location, but the rest not so great.
The parking space was under a big tree that dripped sap, (was not made aware of it). The stairs were straight up, very hard to bring bags up it. I killed a spider almost everyday while staying 3 weeks. Tiny ants were everywhere outside the unit, after a week they were in the unit.( I kept the floors swept to try to keep them away. They did bring in some stuff to kill the after they were in). Was basically called a liar that I didn't make the owner aware of bringing my granddaughter with me. I did and she went back and checked and apologized. Had drain in tub that didn't drain, but was finally fixed by removing all the hair of the previous tenants'. I could go on, but needless to say I will not be staying there again.

Very clean and comfortable
I didn't know that the apt was on the second floor. The stairway is quite steep and narrow. Not convenient for large and heavy suitcases - or someone with a fused ankle :(. There is an air conditioner in the living area. Although we didn't need it (the evenings were comfortably cool during our stay and open windows were perfect except for road noise), I'm not sure how well the air conditioner would cool the bedroom on a hot sticky night.
The apartment was VERY clean. The living area was comfortable as was the bed. The bedroom and bath were roomy. A Keurig and a working desk would have been nice.
Lee Anne was exceptionally helpful and answered emails very promptly.

Great place, great experience!
Lee Anne was so welcoming and made us feel right at home in her cute apartment. It was everything we needed for our short extended stay in Albany. Great location and working walking distance to coffee, shops, restaurants, river. We would definitely come back and stay here again!

Location is everything
Super cute and spacious one bedroom. Full kitchen. Wifi works great. The neighborhood is amazing, old beautiful homes on quiet streets. Walking distance (.5 miles) to the downtown area of shops, bars, restaurants. Highly recommend Sidekicks for coffee, breakfast and pastries. Loafer's is a great place for dinner. The owner is so welcoming. Awesome to have small washer/dryer. Would definitely stay again.

Clean, but not ideal for a vacation stay.
The apartment was clean and Lee Ann provided some treats for us upon our arrival, which was nice (coffee, creamer, juice, yogurt and home made banana bread. Wifi worked very well as did the TV. The washer and dryer worked well and detergent was provided, The drawbacks were that there was no view from any window, no access to outdoor deck space available for sitting, grilling, or having a glass of wine in the evening or morning coffee. Upon arrival you are greeted with a very long flight of stairs to carry your luggage up. Lacks a good table and chairs to have meals at.
This apparment is ideal for someone visiting the hospital , one block away, or visiting relatives in the area. We came to the area to visit local wineries and it was our fault for not assessing the location better. We generally had a drive of at least an hour from winery areas both north and south.

An immaculate, spacious, well-appointed one-bedroom apartment
We selected Ann's place because it was a 15 minute commute to Corvallis and offered a lot more than offerings there. It was way beyond our expectations in every way! It is located adjacent to the Historic District, so makes walking the neighborhood fascinating.
It is one of the few places we've stayed at that had excellent closet space and loads of hangers! The dresser is empty and well placed. The kitchen was well equipped and coffee was provided. The living room was spacious, comfortable, and included full cable TV access. The art work focuses on nature and is exceptionally well framed. Bed is comfy with really nice duvet. Parking is right on the property.
A lock box provides access, so there is no hassle about meeting up to pick up or return keys.
Ann was very gracious and available to attend to any need we had.
We would readily repeat our stay when visiting family in the area again.

Great Place to Stay
Lee Anne's apartment is even nicer in person than it was advertised. Comfortable, well appointed, great linens and very quiet. Lee Anne is a warm and welcoming host. Close enough to walk downtown to some wonderful restaurants. Thursday nights there are free concerts in the park. We will be returning for another stay soon.
