We had a great winter stay in Squirrels Leap with our two young daughters.
We had a great winter stay in Squirrels Leap with our two young daughters. Very spacious four bedroom house. Very well equipped including a great play room and lots of toys for young kids. The village is good with both indoor pool and heated outdoor pool. Good base to explore the Cotswolds from. Beds could be more comfortable but they are not the worst.

This is an excellent property with a truly beautiful view.
This is an excellent property with a truly beautiful view. We had a wonderful week. The kitchen is well stocked (perhaps slightly too stocked), everything that you need at the house, easy to find with lots to do within a local drive. The walks/cycle rides around the estate are lovely. The outside playground area where you could have drinks/pizza/ice cream was great. It was a pain having to book swimming pools (pandemic related). But the pools themselves were brilliant. We didn’t take advantage of the activities on the lake, but these looked great too. Some minor cleaning issues, but nothing that wasn’t easy to sort out.

We had the most wonderful stay at Squirrels Leap celebrating my husbands surprise 70th birthday.
We had the most wonderful stay at Squirrels Leap celebrating my husbands surprise 70th birthday. Property was lovely and the countryside spectacular as were the sunsets and the sunrises. Would highly recommend. My only thought was there was almost too much in all the cupboards and wardrobes meaning you would have to search for what you were looking for. Our whole experience from booking to coming home has been highly professional and most enjoyable. Thank you.

House beautiful, so comfortable and plenty of room for family.
House beautiful, so comfortable and plenty of room for family. There was 8 adults in my group and kitchen had plenty of crockery and utensils. Bedrooms very nice and comfortable.
The views across lake fantastic and to be able to sit outside on the very large veranda
Only thing I was not impressed with was the so called shop. it was so small and hardly anything there so take your essentials with you, on Sunday morning shop almost empty of items and no bread. Would thoroughly recommend The Wheatsheaf Inn in Oaksey for a meal, very friendly and my granddaughter is a vegan and they checked beforehand what she liked and the chef did her a lovely meal.
it was nice to be able to have breakfast out on the veranda and also to launch canoes, paddle boards from there.
